Smashing my Paper Stash Using my least liked paper pad to make some Dino-mite cards! Project39 Mini Albums 2024-01-17 | I am part of an Instagram hop called #stashbusters2024 where every Tuesday at 7:00 PM Eastern time a group of us show you cards using the challenge for that hop. This week we were to use a paper collection that is our least liked paper. I chose this dinosaur collection, not that I am against dinosaurs, but there wasn't enough to make a mini album and the paper just didn't speak to me. But after I finished the cards I sorta was sad that the collection was gone. Sorta.I also made a few cards with a stamp from Lawn Fawn that is called Rawr. I made 36 cards using Call Me Crafty Als & Kendras Card Challenge Sheetload of Cards for Jan. 2024 Project39 Mini Albums 2024-01-02 | #showusyoursheetload As part of my CraftyGoals for 2024, I want to use my stash. Yesterday I was looking at a partial paper pad I have had for a while and decided to do my best to smash it. The best way to smash a bunch of paper and make great cards is to use Call Me Crafty Al's Sheetload of cards. I was in luck- I was looking for the latest sheet load and her new video just popped up on my feed.AND she teamed up with Cards by Kendra to make a fabulous sketch and cutting guide. It was destiny. So I grabbed my paper collection that I wanted to smash- grouped together 4 sets of papers and went to work. I made one complete set, but then went ahed and cut the rest of the paper to make three additional sets. In total I made 36 cards! While the paper in the collection is not completely smashed, I won't have much more to do. I used some of the papers from the 12X12 and some from the 8X8 Collections. I also used heavy weight chipboard. The great thing about this size is that you can get 3 sets of 4X6 chipboard from one sheet of 12X12 chipboard and use your chipboard stash for the spine.MaterialsAny paper from Country Craft Creations would be perfect for this project. I don’t know of any other paper that you can score, glue and use to make the entire mini album! Let it Be mini album and card box project share using Graphic 45 Let it Bee paper collection Project39 Mini Albums 2023-12-30 | I had made a card box while watching a video with Tamra of Country Craft Creations. After making the box, I came up with this way of incorporating in into a larger project. I am sorry, I do not have a tutorial, but it is a simple mini album with just three hinges and all at the front of the spine so there is room in the back for the box. Fairy Garden Upright Mini Album Tutorial- A country Craft Creations Design Team Project Project39 Mini Albums 2023-11-12 | This is the tutorial for the upright Mini Album. There is a walk through in a different video. Go here: youtu.be/Yfc21JklWmo.The tutorial is perfect for beginners because I show you step by step. It is quite long because I also show you how I add the flaps and pockets and decorate as I go. The hidden paper clip tutorial is at 1:39:33!I chose to use Fairy Garden from Echo Park. At this moment there are individual sheets available, when I see the collection kit available I will update the links.Here are the links to get the product. I got two each of the single sheets and two each of the coordinating solids. You might want more solids for mats. I used Artisan White Linen Cardstock. Maybe 20 12X12 sheets. I used a full 12X12 sheet of chipboard plus a bunch of scraps that I had in my stash that were 3/4 wide to make the box in the back. If you do not want the box (But it is a great feature to store lots of photos and also helps make it sturdier, but if you want to exclude it, just make the spine 3X5 instead of 4X5). And holy moly, as I write this, I realize that I do not show you how I decorate the cover. But super simple, just cover as usual and the pocket on the bottom is just matted and glued on the two sides and the bottom.
