SaberClaw - Elemental Guidance SaberClaw 2023-10-16 | Rawr!Something clicked in my head when I made 'Cold Tranquility' last night (or to say it better, this morning lul) So I looked at my actual project that I was stuck at. Yeah - was. I actually don't know how I made that progress in several hours.The track is named 'Elemental Guidance' but the background is a whole different one. Sometimes I have the problem to accept positive feedback. I know it sounds silly but sometimes - not everytime, but sometimes I question the truth behind something positive in my direction. To accept and take a compliment - for example - is difficult. Not impossible, but difficult.That was the driving factor with this track - the name came from my love to the elementals (air ofcourse the highest in my ranking)I guess beeing a perfectionist is not only a obstacle in doing music or Art. It can be an obstacle in fare more areas. And what exactly?!""Work with you, instead of fighting against you..."Rawr!Seven months of silence. I can't say how much I'm sorry for that (Even if I don't need to.) x.-.xI had an experiment. I tried to force myself into a specific emotion. For context - if someone came up to me and said 'hey, I need something in your style but with a sad theme in it!' I didn't know if I could make a track like that. So my experiment was trying to do exactly that. o.-.oSeven months later and I'm writing this description here to say that I've failed. Two days ago ( 28.05.2023 ) I threw my project that - I'm not kidding - started at least 12-14 times over into the garbage. Nothing I came up with was satisfying for me. Maybe it sounded good, but everytime there was something missing. That specific 'feeling' I had everytime I made a successful track.So I did what I do everytime when I try to make new tracks - stop thinking. I literally stopped thinking what I wanted to do. Welp - after two days I finished an entire song where I had that specific feeling again. My perfection forces me to look on every detail a thousand times. Even if there is one note, one beat or one melody slightly wrong (in my ears) then I need to correct it 'till I'm satisfied with the finished track.
