Time skip many years and when Georgina hears her friends went missing in the Rockfang Mountains, she tried to save them. But the whole thing was a trap by Taipan, who was plotting revenge on her because of their now disoriented relationship although she didn't realise it was him for so long and was annoyed by him prior. He ambushes her and stabs her in the back. Her father is a Hooded Dragon who was an ordinary dragon. And her mother is a light trait Wick Dragon who hatched in the Rift (I know, I made her look normal in the video, oops.) The Rift at the time was ruled by the feared and cruel Fire Rift Dragon named Inferno. His main reason to hatch Flare's mother was so that he can grow an army to take over the normal dragon world, but even the other primary rift element dragons didn't like him, and the Light Rift dragon didn't tell Inferno that it was Light trait in the Rift, which was how Flare's mother got it.Runestone was a Hushike who hatched alone, and killed by a volcanic rock during adulthood. She was revived hundreds of years later by a Prabiki named Gwardar and his friends, because an Amolis told them a prophecy about an Undoli who started a clan and ruled over the oasis with an iron fist (or shall I say, an iron claw? lol).And Frost Flower is an IceWing-RainWing Hybrid who lived a somewhat normal life. She was captured as a teenage dragonet by the NightWings for their RainWing experiments, and she was recaptured when trying to escape the island with another NightWing dragonet that didn't appreciate the tribe's ways. The beginning was alright, with the fighting scene and guiding Earwig back home, that was nice. The scene at the underground hideout with Dusky was adorable, and creepy too. Lizard/Freedom's back story was so tragic, but I still liked it. And the epilogue too, with Malachite and Katydid, Dusky getting back to his mother, and Cricket's little tree. And Wasp imprisioned in the Flamesilk Cavern, not exactly what I thought would happen, but she still deserved it. One thing I didn't like though was that the Scorching was explained in the book instead of a Legends. But then again, maybe it wasn't worth one anyway. And the last thing is that the flamesilks in the Flamesilk Cavern were never mentioned ONCE, because I really liked to know what would happen to them at the arc 3 finale. But they were probably released before Wasp and her sisters were imprisioned in there.Overall, I give the book a 9 out of 10.
