The other character is Murkystar. She is such a fascinating villain to me because her crimes consist of... doing nothing. She's not a bad person because she kills people or whatever, she's bad because she's complacent to the suffering of her clanmates. The "higher ups" of the clan can get away with awful things because she enables them. And eventually Vulpine has just kind of had it and attacks her, leading to his exile and eventual death. Vulpinecoat might seem like he's in the right here but he's also not a great person! His motivation for confronting her wasn't really about justice. But i dont want to go into why yet because 1) its a secret teehee 2) i dont know if youtube will let me even talk about it without flagging me BHJSVKSJI really do love this story a lot haha, I've never really allowed myself to really dig deep into darker stories and more complex characters for warrior cats stuff since... well... its a kids series. but im having fun with it!
