SAO PAULO: twitter.com/youtubespaceSP facebook.com/YouTubeSpaceSPHow to stitch and edit 360° video! | Post-Production | YouTube Space LAYouTube Workshops2015-12-17 | After you've shot your 360 video, how do you stitch everything together into a sphere? In this tutorial, we will cover all the steps from organizing footage to exporting as a 360º VR video.
Primary Software: Autopano Video Pro Autopano Giga Kolor Eyes 360 Video Metadata (NOTE! 360 Video Metadata has updated! When using for standard 360, click the 'Spherical Option'. If using for 3D/stereoscopic, click the '3D Top-bottom' option!)
The settings below are for the Freedom 360° Rig using six GoPro Hero 4 Blacks, but these principles and tips can be used for any 360 degree video system available today.
GoPro Hero 4 Black Camera Settings: Shoot in Video Mode Resolution: 2.7k 4:3 FPS: 30 Lens: Wide ProRes: ON Color Space: Flat
NOTE: If you shoot 1440 instead of 2.7K, you can shoot 60fps, which simplifies the stitching process a bit, and the smoother frame rate is more comfortable to watch in VR viewers!
MUMBAI: twitter.com/youtubespacemum facebook.com/YouTubeSpaceMumbaiHow to make 360° videos! | Pre-Production | YouTube Space LAYouTube Workshops2015-12-17 | 360 degree video can seem complicated and confusing! But, that's why we're here. Check out these videos for everything you need to know in order to make your OWN 360° videos!
Note: We focus on the Freedom360 camera rig in this series of videos, which is comprised of 6 GoPro Hero 4 Blacks. But these principles and tips are pretty universal!
And remember! 1. Location is king! Find a visually interesting location to shoot in! 2. Use the entire space! Don't make a 90° video- make it a fully immersive 360° experience! 3. And ask yourself, does my video NEED to be in 360? Is the VR experience enhancing my story?
