Make sure you get the Bubbline as we need it for Monster X and the Blood Stained Sanctuary / Sacred Grounds.
Balrog
- All Balrog fights are essentially the same, you just have to evade differently
Curly Brace
- I recommend using your Fireball. When they hit the wall they will bounce back and either hit Curly or the other Mimigas
Omega
- I'd only use the Fireball here as well. Stay close and just blast Omega away
Rabid Toroko / Frenzied Toroko
- This fight is a bit harder. I think a combination of Polar Star and Fireball works well
- As long as you can evade the throwing attack you should be fine
Puu Black
- I recommend a level 1 or 2 Blade because you can attack very quickly as long as you are close
- You can stay underneath Puu Black for a short while but you have to move otherwise you will get hit
Monster X (Phase 1)
- One of the hardest bosses. You should have your Sword at max for this fight
- Firstly, try to kill all Gaudis in the arena
- Stay on its treads. When it stops, shoot once or twice (maximum) with your Blade
- Instantly run away and use your Bubbline to fend off the projectiles
- Repeat until phase 2
Monster X (Phase 2)
- When it opens up, be underneath and shoot the Blade a few times (up to three times) up
- Then focus on the missiles
- The Blade can take out a few with one shot
Core
- This is one of the hardest fights with 3HP
- The main idea is to keep shooting while instantly swapping between all of your weapons (tap shoot/switch weapon alternating)
- In the beginning jump onto the same block as in the video. This results in your Fireball hitting the core
- Once you fall down and you make your way back up onto the left location, stay on the block as shown in the video in order for your Fireball to hit the Core
- Make sure you keep an eye on the white projectiles from the smaller cores. Be careful if a small core is above or underneath you (I'd move to a different location because it's hard to dodge)
Ironhead
- I'd just spam the Blade (level 2) into it
Ma Pignon
- Charged Spur shots should do the trick
Last Cave (Hidden)
- After doing it a couple of times, the platforming should become easier
Red Ogre / Red Demon
- I recommend your Blade in level 1 or 2
- Just spam the Blade while keeping the boss behind the protruding stones
- When he jumps up, just switch sides and keep spamming your Blade
IMPORTANT: Make sure you do NOT have a level 3 Blade for Undead Core
Misery
- Just charge your Spur and shoot her when you can. Easy enough
Doctor
- Before starting the dialogue, charge your Spur and release it during the dialogue to get a free hit
- Just charge the Spur and shoot the Doctor, avoiding the crystal
Muscle Doctor
- Level 2 charges are dealing a lot of damage already. Try to spam it as much as you can
- You can kill him before you see bats
Undead Core
- At level 2 you can focus firstly on Misery and deal a lot of damage when you stand inside of her
- IMPORTANT: Misery will only shoot projectiles/spawn critters if you hit her or Sue. Just don't shoot anyone if you need a break and want to reposition yourself. If you stay on the ground, she will only spawn critters
- After Misery, focus on Sue. She only damages/kills you when she does her spin attack. Use the Blade to deal a lot of damage
- At the end, just use your Spur and focus on Undead Core. Keep in mind that it will shoot 3 undestroyable projectiles when its low on health. When Misery and Sue are down, Undead Core should be fairly easy
- Good luck not getting crushed on your way to the Prefab House
Heavy Press
- Go into the fight with a charged Spur shot. Then just spam your Polar Star
- Focus on the Butes and only deal damage when you feel safe enough - no rush
Ballos
- The first three phases are easy enough
- During this entire sequence you should have gotten enough XP to max your Blade
- Your Blade will deal a lot of damage in Phase 4 of the fight
- Just spam your Blade and don't focus on Ballos himself
- Focus on the Butes and take them out with Curly if they are too close
- At one point you possibly will go above Ballos to the other side. At a similar time he will spawn a few Butes from inside of him going upwards. Be very careful of them
- Keep spamming your Blade and Ballos should die
Good luck!

I apologize for the distorted audio starting halfway through.
Since we are going for the previously mentioned achievement, a lot of the chapter can be done in pure stealth. In case you are wondering, no, at 9:42 I didn't intend to smash the bottle right next to me.
Once you are in the lobby of Beacon Mental Hospital, I advise you to go counter-clockwise through the right side. Throw a bottle immediately when you can pick it up (about half way through). Be wary of the enemy at the end, sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.
The part where you get hold of the shotgun can be tricky if you are going for a no damage run. Some enemies have guns themselves. No, I didn't want to yell "Come here!" twice... nor once.
In enemy encounter V, you do not have to kill everyone, make sure to keep your back clear. Do not go too far right at the end of the section, there is a Ruvik Clone waiting for you.
In enemy encounter VI, I'd run all the way back where you came from once you call the elevator. You can easily juke the enemies and don't have to waste any bullets.
Phase I: The first phase of the Administrator fight is fairly easy, just shoot him when he glows redish.
Phase II: Unlock an ammo supply as soon as you can and stay in that area. Keep moving, however.
Phase III: It's overall very simple. However, sometimes he can spawn multiple waves - only run when you know the coast is clear.
Phase IV: Phase IV is simple to do but hard to do without taking damage. Just shoot the hand that is showing the red symbol.

In your third Shade encounter I recommend to just run at the beginning of the chase. You lose valueable time when you throw lights. When you enter the room without Shade knowing where you are, the rest of the first part becomes easy. The second room is a bit harder but overall very similar to your previous Shade encounters. Use the objects (servers?) in the room to block the sight and run away if you can. As far as I know, Shade doesn't hear anything.
Once you have access to your flashlight again, you can freely change between it and the chemical lights.
If you want to trigger the rave Easter Egg for youself, you have to hit the vending machine a total of 15 times. Then, the painting on the wall should fall off automatically when you approach it.
When you get your gun back, use the flammable barrles to your advantage. You may also throw some chemical lights to the other side to have a better view of your surroundings. There is enough ammo to pick up, so don't worry about running out of it.
The last Shade encounter is probably one of the easiest. Just hide behind the pillars and wait for a chance to shoot its head.

The section when you get your pistol can be a bit tricky. The best advise I have is to reload your gun as often as you comfortably can.
The circuit board section with the Trauma shouldn't be too troublesome as long as you make sure it walks down the hallway before you squeeze through the door. Avoiding it afterwards is easy.
The other section shouldn't worry you too much as well, especially when you have a bottle to throw. You can call out to the first enemy and hide behind the next corner. He will walk into his own death. The other two can be lured into the trap with the bottle.
When playing the graveyard section, it felt a bit random whether or not the bottle throw part worked. It should lure the enemies to the bell but some just remained in front of the gate. However, you can just do it the intended way and run to the bell to ring it.
The puzzle section with the statues can be done quickly if you pick them up in the order shown in the video and if you place them in the order shown.
The rest of this chapter is free. I apologize for skipping the cutscene at the end accidentally, I didn't press any of the buttons but the game decided to skip it anyway.

The beginning of this DLC is fairly straight forward. You need to look out for enemies on the floor - some are able to grab and hurt you. Stealth is key but not mandatory for success. Some sections, where I unfortunately got seen, can be done fully in stealth.

Chapter 15 is one of the longer chapters but a lot of the time is spent in cutscenes.
The wave based battle arena can be quite tricky to deal with - especially due to the lack of ammunition (and if you are unlucky, lack of craftable resources).
Wave I:
- As soon as you can, run right and climb up the ladders. You should be able to place a shock bolt before the first wave of enemies comes. Burn them all with one match
Wave II:
- Run to the left side, place a shock bolt and burn as many as you can. Shoot the remaining Haunted
Wave III:
- Craft a shock bolt if you don't already have one ready. Place it in the middle of the battlefield - into the blood
- A Fake and other Haunted will spawn. If you place yourself behind the Fake you are able to burn them all at once
Wave IV:
- Run back to the right side. Place a shock bolt and try to burn all three enemies
- More enemies are coming from all over the place. Try to shoot them or use other tactics you feel more comfortable with
- The Sadist will spawn with an RPG. You don't have to bother with him until everyone else is dead
- Unfortunately I ran out of matches - and quickly out of ammo as well... You can use the RPG Sadist to shoot the rest of them
- If you shoot the Sadist twice with the sniper, he will pull out his chainsaw and come for you. Once he comes for you, make sure you still have 4 sniper bullets left for the next section
- Kill the Sadist
Once this part is over, the rest is going to be easy!
In the next section, shoot all four Haunted with your sniper. If you are far enough away, they won't do anything.
At this point, you should have a couple of bullets for your magnum and a lot of resources to craft bolts - specifically explosive bolts. You can make a line out of explosive bolts and let both Keepers run towards you, converging to the line. Once they explode, you shouldn't need a lot of ammo to kill the Keepers. This marks the final time you need ammunition in this game.
I think you can figure out how to get through the trap maze. No, i didn't step onto a bear trap. You can shoot the eyes to temporarily disable them.
The rest of the game isn't hard to figure out. Once you have dealt with all this. Congratulations! You beat 悪夢 -AKUMU- Difficulty!
My final stats:
Total Clear Time: 10:08:37
Total Number of Deaths: 257

At the end of the escalators there are explosive traps. Disarm them. Also, one of the enemies is invisible. You can see him in easier difficulties (Casual and Survival).
The subway section isn't too difficult either. If you picked up a bottle earlier the start of this part is a bit easier. Otherwise, you can find a bottle as shown in the video. Use that bottle to lure enemies to one spot. Your main target is the Fake. I suggest to eliminate him using a freeze bolt. Kill as many as you can with a single one and take the rest of the Haunted out using your sniper rifle. When treading through the water, crouch down to not wake up the invisible enemies.
When going down the stairs to get underground, you can mostly run through to the next mirror.
After lowering the sewage water an AlterEgo will raise. Behind him is the hole you need to go through. Be wary of the bear trap that is placed at its entrance.
I don't have many tips for the Traum ambush. You basically just have to run through. However, keep a shock bolt ready for when you turn the wheel.
You can shoot Quell in the head to avoid its grab animation.
Quell can be a pain to deal with. I suggest reloading the autosave as soon as Quell escapes/turns invisible/spawns small enemies. Prepare shock bolts, explosive bolts, grenades and your magnum. You need the following:
- 1 shock bolt
- 3 explosive bolts
- 3 grenades
- 5/6 magnum bullets (keep the rest for the ending in chapter 15)

Dealing with the first enemy encounter (section I) always felt very nerve wrecking and tense to me. However, it turns out that it is one of the easiest sections when you use stealth. All you need is two bottle throws. If you look closely, my second throw wasn't good as it hit the wall next to me instead of flying through the hallway... It still works.
When coming down the stairs to the lower floor, where the Keeper is, a hard to see enemy patrolls the area. So don't run out and diffuse the bear trap immediately as I did.
I don't have any tips for the kitchen. The robots are random. I recommend you to keep crouching. Don't forget to pick up the resources and be wary of the traps.
It took me a few tries to find a good strat for this Keeper fight. It turns out that using one harpoon bolt and one magnum bullet does the trick to take him down each time.

You can let Joseph and Kidman do most of the work when defending the bus. Not too difficult to deal with.
The second part of the Heresy fight is essentially the same as Part I.
You can get to the ambulance partway with stealth. It's good to have a flash bolt ready.
Once you get back to the bus, you cannot die and the chapter is done.

The first enemy encounter can be done very easily without using many resources:
- Deal with the first enemy which comes at you however you want
- Shoot the Haunted behind the fence with the sniper
- Look to the far end of the section, next to the door you need to escape through, and shoot the Haunted with the sniper
- Jump over the fence and go to the right to perform a stealth kill
- Just go around and kill the remaining two Haunted
- Interact with the door and three Haunted will come through the other door. You can shoot all three with the shotgun and burn them (a bit lucky but not difficult to deal with)
- Go up the ladder and place a shock bolt close to the ladder at the top
- Prepare your harpoon bolt, take the keys and shoot the gunner who comes through the door
- Run
The first water section is pretty easy (even though I die once because of Sebastian's weird bottle throw...).
The second enemy encounter is straightforward if you are quick enough. Shoot the first Fake with a harpoon bolt as soon as you can. He looks dead but burn him. Then shoot a shock bolt towards the second Fake and run to him as quickly as possible. The electricity doesn't last long. When you burn him all other enemies die.
In the third enemy encounter things get rough. You can shoot the first two with your sniper.
Wave I:
- Switch to your freeze bolt and shoot it inside the "building". Get at least two of the Haunted
- The last Haunted can be killed with the shotgun in one shot (if he falls down)
Wave II:
- Switch to your shock bolt and place it somewhere close to the middle of the dark spot on the ground. You need all enemies to come out of the building to burn them with one match
Wave III:
- As soon as Wave II ends, a sniper enemy will start shooting you. Run back and find the spot which triggers the door to open. Now you can shoot him
- Two more enemies are on their way to you - including dynamite throwing enemies. I suggest taking them down with the shotgun when they drop down
- Another dynamite throwing enemy is on the balcony. You can use the sniper or anything else
Wave IV:
- Wave IV has two machine gun Haunted. You can easily take them out with the shotgun when they drop down
Wave V:
- Two more of those will come for you. Kill them the same way
- Additionally, one last machine gun Haunted stays in the building. Be very careful because his shooting is very precise. You can use the sniper (you only have a very small window of opportunity) or throw grenades
- (Lucky me, I threw one grenade too high so it bounced back off of the balcony...)
At this point, I was very low on ammo. So the next two sections were extremely stressing me out. Thankfully, the game was gracious enough to not give me any ammo from enemies or crates.
If you can, kill both gunners from the gondola immediately. Then, run through to the gondola because the other Haunted were already up the ladder.
I don't have many tips for the gondola ride. I barely had any ammo and i died countless times. You have to memorize when Haunted spawn where.
In the beginning, the second Haunted on the left can be dealt with a bit later so you just need to waste one bullet shooting the red barrel. With this strategy, you can easily take out the first six enemies with your pistol with little risk of missing. After that, it's chaos for me. I believe using more flash bolts would have helped me. As you can see, I don't even kill the last three Haunted to preserve some of my non-existent ammo.
The next water section is fairly straightforward. You don't have to go up the stairs. You could instantly swim to the car. Swim left of the pillars and the Shigyo disappears.
To save Kidman was a bit of a struggle due to not really having ammo (seems to be a trend in chapter 11). Using the shock bolt and matches to deal with huge quantities of Haunted seems to do the trick. In the second part when tree more Haunted come through the door and a machine gun Haunted appears from the elevator. The easiest is to let Kidman deal with the first three Haunted and run through. To let Kidman deal with the Haunted, I believe you should stay away from the door leading to the stairs.
The factory section isn't too hard. The first part is more annoying because the saw-blade robots are random. Don't really have tips for this section. The second part is easy if you follow the path in the video. Have a flash bolt prepared for the four Haunted that come through the door you open.
Once out, congratulations. You will be able to beat the game!

In the first part, it is wise to make use of the spinning blade. Just lure the enemies to you and the blade will decapitate them. For me, after the first sniper shot two times, he stopped. Then it is your time to kill him.
If you bring an axe from section I to section II, you can kill the Fake with it. A torch should work too.
Section IV was very hard for me. I don't know the best way to deal with the Haunted and two Traumas. You will probably need at least two electric bolts.
The Laura fight overall isn't too hard as long as you do not intend on killing her. The biggest problem were the bear traps. If you do not want to craft an electric bolt, you can use the fire traps to burn her. This should give you enough time for the lever as well.
Amalgam Alpha is pretty easy. You need to use the sniper to shoot its eye, then throw a grenade. Optionally you can use a freeze/electric bolt to stun it so you can hit the eye. After doing this three times, you need to use a freeze bolt and shot its eye again with the sniper. Then you can use whatever strong weapons you have in order to kill it. Make sure to pick up all the resources after the fight.

I recommend picking up the axe when you first encounter the AlterEgos so you can use it when turning off the gas.
When you go up that spike trap after shooting both cranks in the right path, one AlterEgo will drop down. You can stomp him for an insta-kill. In general, when AlterEgos are laying on the ground you can stomp them to death. Just don't fail like me.
At 19:34, I recommend picking up the axe sticking out of the debris. You can one-shot the Keeper with an axe.

Cabin Fight Strat:
- Kill the first two Haunted by shooting a barrel
- Prepare a harpoon bolt. Try to shoot one enemy in the second wave out of the area. Don't kill it. When performed successfully, this shouldn't spawn another wave and you just have to run away from two Haunted
- When coming to the lower level, pick up the bolts
- Kick the oil barrel to Joseph's side and shoot it to kill all three Haunted that spawn in the first wave. If you don't hit them all in the explosion, you can make them run into the fire and die
- This next wave is important: There will always be 1 big guy, 1 woman and 2 men. Do NOT kill any of the men because one of them triggers the next wave. You can kill the big guy and the woman. If done successfully, the rest of the fight is easy
A lot of people seem to also struggle in the next section where Haunted in cages shoot harpoons in an area riddled with enemies. I found this part to be fairly easy with this strat.
Cage Strat:
- When you get the sniper, go right and close to the wall (to your right, same wall as the door you came from). From there, you can snipe one Haunted over a wooden bridge (you will only see a part of his head - he will drop an axe)
- Then, start running through from the right, you will get a checkpoint. The rightmost cage I shot with a harpoon bolt
- Drop down and wait for the arrows in the middle to stop shooting, go far back so you can snipe that guy
- After that, run up the stairs. Almost at the top, use your pistol to shoot the Haunted in the cage
- Instantly sprint up the stairs towards the big bridge (where Joseph can fall) and use your sniper to shoot the last cage
- From there, continue running over the bridge to the other side where you shot the first Haunted and collect his axe (there is also some bolt ammo)
- Drop down and rush towards the Sadist and get a new checkpoint
I was just winging the bridge section because I didn't want to waste any ammo - died multiple times with this scetchy strat.
Neun & Zehn Strat:
- You will need two explosive bolts, two grenades and two shotgun shells
- If you are lucky you can hit both with the bolts and grenades
- When they go down you can finish them off with one shotgun shell each
- After the fight you can pick up more shotgun ammo and two explosive bolts - even some sniper ammo

The puzzle is fairly straight forward. You need to look at the wall with the symbols/drawings and find symbols that match the buttons.
After finding Joseph you will come accross a patrolling enemy. If it detects you it will wake up all the other ones as you can see in the video. Stealth makes this section way easier. Wait behind the mattress and when sneaking up on the enemy, avoid stepping on broken glass.
When fighting the hordes while Kidman is drowning it helps to remember when enemies spawn where. To conserve ammo you can try to let Joseph kill enemies. Using electric bolts can be quite useful.
The Laura fight is fairly straightforward with the route I take. When trying to burn her with matches, you have to wait until her arms come out of the body. Otherwise you are wasting matches.

You don't have to go to the hospice. This section is optional. It gives you an easy key if you need it. Before following Leslie into the house, I'd recommend picking up the axe that is on the table next to the safehouse. You can use this axe on the first invisible enemy you encounter after catching up to Leslie.
For the fight in the pool of blood, I recommend placing an explosive bolt at the door/blood puddle as seen in the video to severely damage the Fake. Most likely he won't die but you will just need one more shot with your pistol.

- Upon entering the area, go inside of the left house, take the axe that is sticking out of the wall
- After talking to Jimenez upstairs, hit the trap to activate it and use the crank to disarm the trap again
- Run down through the other door (not the one you came from). The two enemies you see are programmed to go up the stairs so you can just run past them
- Go outside of the house and make your way to the barn (keep your light turned off) - no one should follow you
- Use the axe to break open the wall to the Sadist
- Put down your axe, go back to the other side of the barn. There is another axe
- When holding the second axe, go next to the Sadist and open the chest. This will free the Sadist
- Immediately use both axes on him and shoot him 8 times with your pistol. You shouldn't need to move (it takes time until he starts his chainsaw)
- When the Sadist is dead, all enemies are dead and you can easily explore the area and pick everything up

There isn't much to keep in mind for chapter 1. When escaping the Sadist, you can take a bottle and destroy the boxes in your path when you aim for the lower one. The rest is just running...

- After dropping down to the area where four petrified Lost spawn, sprint to the right one in order to stealth kill it. They won't see you for a short time here
- Stealthily kill the rest
- I don't have a good strategy for the second section of enemies, try to stealth kill and to use your harpoon bolt
- If you can get multiple with a shock bolt, you might be able to stomp them
Mini Boss:
- Shoot one or two sniper rounds into the glowing area
- Use the barrels to your advantage
- When it goes down, use your shotgun to shoot its weak spot
Chapter 16:
- Run all the way to Sebastian's room
- This is the last chance to use your keys and to craft ammo/bolts/syringes on the workbench
- Myra has orange weak spots which you need to shoot
- My fighting here is also not the greatest but with the limited amount of resources we collected, you can still craft a lot of items
Chapter 17:
- Make your way to the house
- Shoot everyone as Kidman, when they throw grenades just duck to not lose any health
- Make your way away from the house to Sebastian's room (you cannot die)
- Run for your life
Congratulations!

- Get your snow/shock bolt ready and place it before the lever
- Instantly run through to the next gate
- When calling the stair-lift(?) three Spawns will spawn. Kill the first one immediately with three shotgun shots
- Prepare a shock bolt and wait for the other two to come to the corner behind the pipes
- Shoot the bolt as late as possible, this should give you enough time to wait out this sequence and climb up the stairs (you may pick up some of the items)
The Sadist:
- Can't really die here
The Keeper(s):
- Pick up everything you can in the room
- Blast whatever you have into the Keeper
- After the first one dies, two more will spawn. It's helpful to stun both with a shock bolt
- Do it better than me
Laura:
- You don't have to use any bolts but making her spawn through the bodies seems a bit random
- If you have to, stun her
- You need to use the fire twice in order to kill her

14:38 Chapter 15 - The End of This World
- Use your pistol in the first half of the firewalk and as long as enemies are outside the sphere
- Use your shotgun when there are multiple Disciples and/or when they enter the sphere
- There are syringes and shotgun ammo on the way
Chapter 14.1:
- Upon entering the big room with the Disciples, go right and stealth kill the Disciple at the far end (crossing to neighboring room)
- After opening the gate, you can either go back and go through the center, or through the side as shown in the video
- Regardless of what you choose, you will be seen. Have a freeze or shock bolt ready - just in case
- Run through the gate
- Save #6 (Saves remaining: 1) [optional, depending on how confident you are dealing with the next two rooms. You will need to deal with many Disciples, a Harbinger and three Spawns. You can save before Theodore, or if you are feeling lucky, after - giving you two saves for the last three chapters]

5:27 Chapter 14 - Burning the Altar
7:30 Room of Disciples and Harbingers
- Go into LAB2 to get a medical pouch upgrade
- Ignore the two Lost in the center
- When exiting LAB3, go right. You can shoot the Lost and stomp it. The others will get alert but won't come - don't worry
- After climbing down the stairs, be wary of the Hysteric. She is easily avoidable
- Use a bottle to distract the two Lost in front of the locked door
- I recommend doing O'Neil melee only because he is a bullet sponge. Also, avoid destroying his tank. He is harder to deal with when he cannot use fire
- You need to stab him four times
Chapter 12:
- In case you are still missing an axe if you used one on the Hysteric in the cabin fight, you can get a new one in the beginning of chapter 12
- For the rest of the chapter, stick to the left side of the map
- You can stealth kill the fatso, it seems a bit inconsistent though (glad I survived the second attempt...). You can also use a smoke bolt to explode them
- After the first big gate I accidentally woke up a Lost. This is avoidable if you stay further away from the candles
Chapter 13.1:
- When exiting the building, go right towards the theatre. Use the bushes to hide and try not to get spotted by the Harbinger
- The paths of the Lost seem a bit inconsistent at this part. If they are coming towards you, keep hiding in the bushes. One might linger close-by for longer which you can stealth kill
- Make your way to the fatsos, if you are lucky you can pick up nails on your way
- Stealth kill both fatsos
- Now you can run straight to the hotel
- Make sure to not start the fire walk yet
- Grab two fuses from the left vending machine

- Be sure to have some shock bolts for the Spawn
- Let Torres handle the bulk of the enemies. When she gets downed, it's an easy kill for you
- Be sure to have an axe for the Hysteric (NOT one-shot!)
- Note that Hysterics are immune to the effects of the smoke bolt
- You can get through the section with the Disciples without being seen
- Stay to the left, wait in the bush at the end. You can easily take out two Disciples
- Even if you get spotted, just run towards the Safehouse
Chapter 11.1:
- Before you follow Hoffman into the lab, go once again to Post Plus in order to get the sniper rifle. We never got the second part to repair it in chapter 3 because it is risky and we didn't need it yet. We will use it later
- Return to The Marrow to follow Hoffman
- Don't go into the room to the right of the elevator, there are two enemies
- Save #4 (Saves remaining: 3) [optional as the fight with O'Neil is very consistent and easy when doing melee only, you might want to save after him]

- As you can see, I didn't craft any ammo. I am going in to the fight against Stefano with only four pistol rounds. When you run out of pistol ammo, new ammo spawns as you can see in the video
- I will never know how to evade Stefano's running attack...
Chapter 9:
- The last box i destroy in the beginning always gives a syringe
- Another syringe is through the small tunnel before the prison area. Be wary of the enemy which can wake up
- Do not get the crank handle yet
- Kill the two Lost laying in front of the exit gate - you can use a harpoon bolt for one and stealth kill the other
- From there, on your way to the crank handle you can also kill locked up enemies using harpoon bolts (try not to waste so much ammo on the last guy...)
- After getting the crank handle, when the path to the gate is clear, you can run to the crank through the other side - be wary of the Hysteric. You don't have to kill her
- I personally found the fight against the three Disciples hard, you can try shooting them with a shock bolt and stomp them (if they are not on fire). They are slow except for when they try to ram you
- The solution to the blood puzzle from right to left is: RR, R, RR, R
- Save #3 (Saves remaining: 4)

22:26 Blood Puzzle
- Escaping the Guardian isn't hard but somewhat inconsistent. I died/lost health often because the traps didn't get triggered by her. However, if you are at the door and she is close you can run back to the main area and try again. Evading her attacks isn't hard
- Obscura fight is easy (even theoretically hitless...). Just keep your distance, aim for the camera and only get close when she runs towards the emitter
Chapter 6:
- Doing the part with the Watcher stealthily is not hard - my nerves got too me though. Theoretically, you can just run through that part
Chapter 7:
- When exiting the building, immediately go right towards the theatre. Be wary of an enemy that might be coming your way
- After interacting with the paintings go back towards the building you came from and make your way to the Devil's Own Taproom. Going this route you avoid all Lost. The Guardian is patrolling in front of the Devil's Own Taproom
Painting #1:
- This painting is a bit tricky, if you need to, use a shock bolt in front of the gate to escape
- The axe you (probably) picked up in front of the warehouse in chapter 3 comes in handy when dealing with the Hysteric. Be careful, one hit with the axe does not kill her. A good method is to get one stealth attack followed by the axe
- Go towards the "art" through the right side
- Exit Devil's Own Taproom and immediately go left towards the hotel. The Lost will go to Sykes, therefore, you only need to worry about the Guardian coming from an alley to the right. She is easy to avoid though
Painting #2:
- Obsucra is a hassle to avoid without using any resources. If you need to, or want to be sure, place a shock bolt in front of the gate so that she gets stunned when she hunts you to the gate
- Go towards the "art" through the left side
- You can go back to the theatre through the center of the map while also picking up a first aid kit. You will have to let Sykes die. The Safehouse will be available later
- From there, don't stay on the main street. Go towards the diner and from there follow the path to the theatre from which you came
Chapter 8.1:
- The light from the eye does not kill you immediately, you don't have to worry about it

I also collect some keys that are easily obtainable - without risk of dying. However, I end up not using a single one.
Chapters 1-2:
- I wish there was a single autosave after chapter 2
- It is extremely tedious to replay the intro (which take 20 minutes!) which I unfortunately had to do because game crashed a few times in chapter 3
- After meeting your first Lost in the house, you can turn around and run out while watching out the other Lost outside
Chapter 3:
- I avoid getting the Sawed-off shotgun from The Marrow: Armory in the basement of 322 Cedar Ave.. It is unnecessarily risky to do and not needed until later
- Instead, I pick it up in the warehouse later
- First, head towards the Warden Crossbow
- From the Warden Crossbow, go straight into the direction of Lily's signal. We will come across the warehouse to our right
- On the way to the warehouse, pick up an axe and nails
- Use stealth (when possible) to clear the front of the warehouse and prepare the yellow cart for the escape before continuing following the signal. Also, make sure to pick up an axe in case you do not have one anymore
- On your way to the signal, use one of your acquired shock bolts to open the door which is needed for chapter 4 - you do not need to kill the enemy inside
- After receiving the new signal for Lily, exit the Pit Stop to the right in order to avoid triggering the Spawns
- Make sure you take the Sawed-off shotgun in the warehouse
- When exiting the warehouse, have one shock bolt ready to stun two (or if you are lucky all three) Spawns and escape to O'Neil's Safehouse using the yellow cart we prepared
Chapter 4:
- After deactivating the emergency lockdown, climb up the ladder until one hand grabs the third (from the top) horizontal bar of the ladder so you don't have to engange with any of the enemies
- You don't have to kill the two enemies in the sewage
