However when Cosmos descended, Luna sensed a new goddess being born, one who would take over her role as goddess of the realm.A hesitant Lightning inherited the role and fell into a crystal slumber immediately, hoping to restore Luna's power. Chaos fell upon the realm and Luna awoke, found Lightnings crystal tomb and used the last of her power to awaken Lightning.
