So, Beetlewhisper (calico, he/they) proposes they swap. A decision they make as kits so they can both get what they want, one little lie only grows. Now they’re trapped in this lie together. They’re a lethal co-dependent combo, both obsessed with each other with a tendency to lie for the other’s sake, only hurting them more. What do you do when you’re a medicine cat apprentice who’s been rejected by starclan? Make shit uppp Beetlewhisper starts lying more and more as he continues to get away with it, but it catches up to him because Sootbranch Knows and doesn’t like it. They promised never to lie to each other, but they’re both massive hypocrites. They have a big fight about it, Sootbranch goes off and dies rip but now he’s possessing this random guy who accidentally killed him (Sparrowflight, little guy with the scars, he/him). I Ain’t Done - Warriors OC MAP Part 7 [Thorns and Berries] Basil Kat 2023-10-31 | Cw for blood and violence and character death heheI think this is the most hours I’ve put into a map part! Insanely proud of this one :33! This was originally supposed to be PMV but I made the mistake of using procreate’s animation assist to map out the first scene and then emerged months later covered in blood and clutching a fully animated map part. Dunno what happened. I figured out a lot of hacks to help me animate quicker - or at least it feels that way. I use a sketchier brush and don’t clean my lines or animations much. I hardly use the onion skin. Anatomy is mostly a suggestion when animating fast paced action or in-betweens. I also color and shade an entire frame before moving to the next one, so I don’t finish coloring all the frames, and have to go back and shade them all too. Every scene took under 5 hours to animate except one, which took ten hours, guess which one. Story:During a border skirmish neither characters really care about, Sparrowflight (gray one) kills Sootbranch (black n white one) in self defense. I may be cringe but I am free!!!I imagine the story goes like this:My self-insert character, Marshclaws, is a former kittypet who tried to join Skyclan during the time that Sol was a member. When he's exiled, he convinces Marshclaws that it wasn't his fault and it's all the clan's fault and their unjust code. So Marshclaws joins Sol when he leaves. Marshclaws follows Sol to the lake clans to use his newfound knowledge of the prophecy to destroy the clan's faith in Starclan. The story follows the books with the battle happening and then the eclipse halts it. Sol then explains his plans of exploiting Windclan's beef with Thunderclan to tear them down. Marshclaws is like "wait hold on I thought we were just destroying the clan system not like starting wars and killing ppl :(" oopsyI never gave my wc sona a backstory but this isnt canon sorry idc about sol enough.
