But while editing I changed my mind and removed the sad ending and simply went with the lyrics only representing Tiana’s dark thoughts regarding her "forbidden" feelings towards her knight. Also, since I know people will comment on it: I intentionally left Charming's body untouched since I wanted a muscular body type for her. Think Jasper from "Steven Universe" or Zarya and Brigette from "Overwatch” (or even Julia Vins from real life). Sexy buff ladies for the win!! No matter where people looked, no child showed any signs of being able to bend more than one element. 17 years passed and the methods of finding the avatar because more and more desperate, so much so that bending masters all over the world started testing teens no matter what their bending capabilities. Even non-benders were tested with the ancient rituals. And one day they finally found him, the next avatar; a seventeen-year-old water-tribe boy called Jim. Among thousands he had been the only one to show any kind of connection to the earlier avatars through the tests. But Jim was a non-bender. He had never in his life bended anything, and thought that it was all a coincidence, that he was a fraud. But people now believed him to be the next avatar and he had no say in the matter. Jim was immediately set out to train with masters of the four elements, but they all quickly found no bending talent in this boy. They called him a sham, a good-for-nothing, a failure. One morning Jim escaped the constant training and found solitude in a temple, where he found a statue of the late avatar Tulio. And there, in the early morning light, the statue´s eyes started to glow. And so did Jim´s. For the first time in his life he met the past lives of the avatars. HIS past lives. With a encouraging “Take your time, kid.” Tulio disappeared and Jim was once again all by himself. But the sudden and brief moment had blown away any doubt that he previously had about himself. He was now filled with hope and determination to become a great avatar. TO BELONG - Part 5: Caught In Your Undertow TheNamelessDoll 2016-05-25 | Originally I wanted to done with it already, but since the Kickstarter project for To Belong went into production I had to change my plans. All material is gathered, so it is on it´s way. I will do my best to finish it in December/January, but I cannot make any promises, since the Kickstarter is my main priority at the moment. I had to rush finishing a few of the scenes because of my eye surgery in May (thay lazeeerd mah eeeyyeeesss), but other than that I went full out with this. Anya has found a person who she dares to trust in when it comes to her PTSD (apart from her brothers) and Charming is more than willing to help her. What animals are the crew members? - Birds. Everybody are birds, apart from Eric who is an orca. The captain is the biggest bird though, and she likes to brag. I did not fit it here, but I had planned for a scene where she races her crewmemebrs. It´s a simple game of courage; both competitors fly up high into the sky, transform into their human form and then free fall. The last one to change back into a bird wins. Esmeralda has never been beaten. "The man in gold" - Mulan is talking about Charming and all his bling. He really does have a lot of money to give away... The stag in the dream - Yay!! The brother that Charming mentioned before! And yes; they both have the same animal form. The “magic” in Charming´s dream - Just part of the dream. Apart from the animal ftranformtions there is no magic in this world (or fantasy creatures), so all theories about curses and spells are disqualified right away. :PIs the dream supposed to make sense? - Nope. It´s supposed to confusing and WTF-ish. But there is symbolism in it.Why did Mulan seem so disgusted with the fish Garret was holding? - Because she is vegan, like so many others in this world. The main characters and some of the crew members eat fish and insects, the ONLY living creatures that do NOT have a human form. Even dairy products are on the menu. And yup, people who are cows, goats, etc sell their own milk to other people. Esmeralda flirting with Sinbad - Esme thinks that Sinbad is that kind of guy who always gets his way with the ladies and simply wanted to tease him (and Jas) a bit. She knew that her trusty GF would come and show where the lines are. OBS: Even though Esmeralda would agree to a polyamorous relationship (has been in one already in the past) and is indeed attracted to Sinbad, she would never ever even kiss him without Jasmine´s approval. Loyal girlfriends for the win! Where did Tulio go at the end? - That poor bastard was still on the ship when the storm hit. TO BELONG - Part 4: Before It Gets Dark TheNamelessDoll 2015-11-01 | BADADUSSSSH!! Part 4 is here, everybody!! :DI can also say that due to lack of material to work with I had to simplify their backstory for this crossover version. The original is much darker and their father is in the picture as well, but it did not work here. I did not intend their past to be "the big twist" (that comes later), because the "twist" in my opinion is the consequences of the event rather than the event itself (Anya suffering from PTSD) and that was revealed in the previous part. The whole thing becomes a lot more humorous if you try and imagine Sinbad compulsively taking of and putting on his hat in-between shots. The Crystal Gems - Not Alone TheNamelessDoll 2015-09-28 | Something small that I have been working with on the side! :DThis is why I like never do regular music videos - There is too much awesomeness to choose from!! D,X I went through all the episodes and collected the shots/scenes I wanted to work with and in the end I sat there with 35 minutes of footage. For a less than 3 minute song… So I decided for a specific theme and cut out all the fusions, Connie, Greg, the towns people and the Homeworld Gems (JASPEEEER!!). :,,( But now I really want to make a music video dedicated to fusions, but I would like to have more episodes first..........................................................................................….Editor fangirling: I discovered this show pretty late, and I avoided seeing it for months. There was something about the style that back then was unappealing to me, and the premise seemed uninteresting. But people kept talking about it, and in the end the statements about the shows great diversity and representation convinced me to give it a shot. I watched it all in one go and the night when I was up to date was the very night was when "Jailbreak" aired. I don't even know how to describe my love for this show. I seriously don't. I don't really know how this show, that at first seemed so harmless, can make me feel so many things. Not only does it make me so, so happy, but it has destroyed me emotionally so many times too. I love these characters; I want to know more about them and I need to see them all be okay when the series ends. I don't know if I have ever been this obsessed with a TV-show before. Steven Universe sets the bar so high up for modern animated entertainment, and it has been one heck of a ride. X,DBut for those who are interested in the backstory for this scene: This is a new fantasy story of mine about a magical book that wants to become human. For centuries people have filled it's pages with memoirs and now the book yearns to experience it all by itself. So when a man finds the mysterious book and figures out that it can be communicated with via the text in it, he agrees to help fulfill its wish. The book wants to gain the 5 main senses that humans possess, and together they go on a fantastical adventure to achieve this goal.The scene shown is from when the book, whom I call Laroin (with a French accent), gains the sense of sight on top of her already achieved sense of touch (that's when she got her human body for the first time). The girlfriend is verbally abusive to the man whom still loves her dearly, and after having died in an attempt to save her, he returns as a ghost. But instead of being grateful, she laches out on him once again. Shang/Marina - A husband mourning his late wife, but is blessed with the chance to meet her once again. Very simple really, I just wanted something cute (and play around with the hand holding shot while Marina is see-thorough). Originally I was going to use Mulan instead of Shang, but Shang won due to his few wardrobe changes. Giselle/Proteus - Based on all the countless true stories when somebody has tragically taken their own life without anybody having a clue as to why. So there is really no point in asking me why she did what she did, because I have decided not to know the reason myself. (And I hope that it was somewhat clear that I was trying to drag attention to her lack of a shadow.) PS: For me Giselle has been one of the hardest characters to mask up to date. Beast/John Rolfe - This is the one that has the longest backstory (and also the one I would most likely base a longer video on), but I could only get in so much. Basically; "A cursed king finds his humanity after having realized that his actions as a human had caused the death of a man. With time and the help of the man's ghost he finds goodness inside of him, and eventually even love." Heal - Part 2 (13+) Trigger Warning! I wanted to drop it at some points, but I was so close to finishing it so I kinda had to suck it up and keep going. There are so many things that I did not get into this and parts that I am unhappy with, but I just wanted to get it over with. And for someone who says she hates still frame endings, I sure do use them a lot. :P.......................................................................................STORY (everything takes place after "Welcome to the Slaughterhouse"):Jasmine is under strict supervision after her attempt to escape from the brothel. She tries to cling to the hope that her love will someday come for her, but her daydreaming is constantly being interrupted by the images Lady Tremine's "punishments" (OBS: The hour-glass scene is only a metaphorical dream). But Cinderella, a maid, notices Jasmines situation, and when Chel gets these news she immediately conjures up a plan to save her friend. The plan succeeds, and Jasmine escapes the town. Time goes by and Jasmine finally finds her lost love. When Proteus recognizes her he brings her to the inn he is currently staying at. But Jasmine's dreams comes soon crumbling down when she realizes that she is not the only woman in Proteus' life. What will she do now? Stay with him, the man she thought loved her, or return back to save the only people who have ever truly cared for her? .......................................................................................This is a story about sacrificing your own safety for somebody else and about facing reality's ugly rear end. TO BELONG - Part 3: When We Feel The Storm TheNamelessDoll 2015-04-12 | "What happened?", you may ask? Well, I did something that I have only done once before (with "Sail"); I removed and re-uploaded the video. "Why?" Because I found mistakes that I could not ignore. Like, not a misspelled word or two, but whole pieces of dialog in the wrong place, or missing entirely, in the wrong colour, etc! I believe that it happened when I uploaded the finished video to Youtube and Final Cut fu---ed everything up in the process (it was lagging like crazy during the whole night and I guess that was the aftermath). It was killing me, so I decided that I would feel better only if I changed it.The worst part? Your wonderful comments had to be sacrificed. I am sad because all your creative theories are now gone! D: But at the same time… kinda "pweuh"?! Some of you were SO DARN close to the truth that I was like "nopenopenoep, go back in your hole!!!" XD BUT THANK YO SO MUCH for all the lovely words! I read every single one and I sometimes had to stop mid-read because I was getting so emotional! It was as if the Gods did not want me to finish this part, but I finally did it. (cries tears of joy) I really hope that you guys like it as much as I do! NO LIGHT - Collab with CCK95 TheNamelessDoll 2015-02-19 | Something that I and CCK (a fellow Swede) have been working on for a while now, in secret. ;) We hope that this inspires people to make something similar! :D It is so much fun and the internet needs more Non/Disney benders!!!...................................................................................….Plot/background for my parts:Part 1 - Kida is waterbender pupil who is trying to learn to walk on water. She is insecure and does not trust herself to be able to do such a hard thing (to be able to control the density of water). Her master however reassures her of her talents and pushes Kida to try harder, until she succeeds. :DPart 3 - Shang and Garrett are training buddies! :D There isn't really that much to say about the part itself, cus it was cut short due to lack of space. The original idea was much longer and included both cuties lovey dovy snuggling under the moon light (yes, they are a couple). Part 6 - Esmeralda and Tulio are in an extremely sick relationship; they spend their time trying to kill each other. This day, Tulio has the upper hand, having bound Esmeralda up, threatening to burn her alive. Tulio almost wins the game, but after he decided to shoot icicles in Esme's face and scratched her up, she discovers her a hidden ability; lava bending! Tulio is toast now! Part 7 - Proteus and Conelius are having an agni kai. Ice, ice, baby! X,D I'm not really sure what their relationship status is. I imagine them being new friends, but then Cornelius completely pulls the rug from under Proteus, revealing that he never had good intensions when they started hanging out. Or something like that. SPOILERS: Just to clarify the characters´ actions - Marina never loved Thrax; she always loved Odette. But when she realised that Odette did not feel the same (when she flirted with Thrax during the party) Marina kinda... gave up. And when Thrax showed interest in her again, she could not say no to the notion of being "loved", even if it meant betraying her best friend. She is ashamed of it the whole time through, and then she later decides that she cannot be doing this and tries to end it all. The ending is actually similar to my Anywhere But Here story; "Why did you not tell me, stupid-head?! Fangirl screams all the way to Lappland, baby. ;DI liked the the idea of Korrasami vey early on. At first because Korra/Mako was just such a hot mess of a couple and anybody was better than Mako, but then later because they were simply adorable and good for each other (IMO). I intensionally skipped as much of the triangle drama as I could, just trying to show the two of them together. But I really wanted to have that part when Korra tells Mako to go support Asami. This was in season 1, when Korra was head over heals crushing on Mako, but instead of trying to steal him away, she was more concerned with Asami's pain than her own needs. SNEAK PEEK - Upcoming Project TheNamelessDoll 2014-12-07 | EDIT 2016, Mars: I have decided to make a full video based on these manips!! :D I will start on it after To Belong art 5! .................................................................................So, basically, I have been fooling around with After Effects a lot lately, making very complex manips and such (you can see them all on my Tumblr). This started with a very simple test where I changed Ariel's hair into a galaxy (something that I have seen be done before by other editors, like Antiloottioy), but then it snowballed into something more thanx to Bloodbendingdancer and I started playing around with a potential story. And now there is one:"The goddess Lucerna was assigned the duty to watch over the stars. But thousands of years of only watching from a distance, without anybody else around, can do great damage to ones heart. She starts reaching out to the stars, desperate for company, but they are too far away. She also tries talking to them, even screaming at them, but she never gets one single reply. Shooting stars pass her by as if she was nothing, leaving her behind in crippling loneliness. But one day she meets Dilucidus; the guardian of the planets." This would of course not be a long video, considering that it takes hours upon hours to finish mere seconds.
