Hand Drawn Animation using procreate - home made Cartoon - iPad Pro 10.5. Danny Glasgow 2020-06-11 | This was a long process that took about 2 weeks. Everything was made exclusively on an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, the main app I used was Procreate, but I did use core animator for some of the panning and zooming effects, as well as the sun and lighting. I used luma fusion for sound fx and final composition. The rabbit animation consists of over 100 frames at 20FPS.Tip - set the YouTube playback speed to the lowest setting (0.25), this allows you to break down the animation frame by frame.

Concerning my art, I have found myself leaning away from copying things. My earlier work would consist of drawing celebrities, characters from movies, etc, but as I progressed I was inspired by artist that came up with there own designs. I’m not as good as I want to be but I’m leaning all the time and I’m hoping each new drawing will look better. That’s not to say I’m abandoning copying all together, I’m sure there will be a movie poster or some other type of media that I may draw in the future. BRUSHES I USED Round brushAir brushNoise brush - i use this to add little dots, increase the brush size quite a bit Hb pencilZombie skin - I used this like a stamp to add texture, then painted over it. TOOLS USED Select toolWarp - I used this tool to wrap the texture from the zombie skin brush around the shape of the head. Curves - I use this to go from grey scale to colour, or change a colour I don’t like.Motion blur - background
Procreate 5 Creature Design- dark ambient cave worm - iPad Pro 10.5 Danny Glasgow 2020-01-07 | No reference was used for this, I just went straight in with a sketch and the ideas just started with a giant worm in water. The only brushes I used for this was a pencil, airbrush, hard brush and the smudge. I added noise to the image to give it a grainy look.

2D hand-Drawn Animation Test (practice) - iPad Danny Glasgow 2019-08-14 | I used an iPad pro 10.5 + apple pencil. Apps used were rough animator, procreate and luma fusion. All drawings like environments and characters were made up completely from imagination. The audio uses the voices of wolverine and Danny dyer. The second scene was a recreation of the first iron man movie (when he blows up the tank). It's all a bit silly lol, but good practice never the less.
