LoveJT8DThis video project captures one of the most amazing experiences I've had with an airline. On October, 1 2017 I had the chance to fly on Southwest Airlines's first MAX 8 revenue flight along with my production colleague Ryan Bomar. The aircraft was very impressive and indeed a marvel of modern travel technology. More importantly, I got to experience a deeper sense of the Southwest Airlines family, and how they bring an inviting warmth to their passengers. From customer service, public relations, every employee was truly happy to be on this flight and share their passion about working with Southwest. CEO Gary Kelly, has done a mighty fine job with the morale of this airline, and was a pleasure meeting and flying with him. I will definitely seeking out more flights with Southwest.

Sorry for all the wind noise, as there was some weather moving through and didn't have a covering for the mic. Mainly this footage shows the beautiful backdrop for plane spotting at the Anchorage Alaska . Definitely worth a trip up there, as there are plenty of cargo 747s, and MD-11s to see in action. This video was shot during the weekend of the Great Alaska Aviation Gathering, and if you haven't been, check out their website here: greatalaskaaviationgathering.org It's a really cool weekend to experience anything/everything related to aviation. Aircraft is either N578FE or N597FE, but hard to tell at a distance.Ford Tri-Motor - Engine Start, Takeoff, Landing - Spotting Video (KPSP 2017)LoveJT8D2020-04-05 | Another video pulled from the vault of unedited footage from the past. This is an airworthy 1928 Ford Trimotor (5-AT-B) offering rides to the public, hosted by EAA Chapter 1116 based at Palm Springs Airport KPSP. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, this is the airport to experience a ride on this historic bird.

(American Heroes Air Show 2017)LoveJT8D2020-03-29 | After sitting on this footage for a few years, I decided to edit now that I have the time during the COVID-19 quarantine. These are the helicopter arrivals into the 2017 American Heroes Air Show, located at Hansen Dam Park in Los Angeles. It's an annual event, and a nice way to pay tribute to our first responders who work endlessly to keep us safe during times of disaster. It was an exceptionally dry year in 2017. As a result lots of dust accompanied almost every helicopter than landed. Enjoy!FLOAT Air Shuttle - Cessna 208B flight from the Cockpit - (L35 - POC)LoveJT8D2020-02-22 | FLOAT (short for "Fly Over All Traffic"), is a really neat startup air carrier in Southern California who's mission is to get you to work efficiently by helping you avoid sitting in rush hour traffic. In addition to work commutes, FLOAT offers charters, tours, and other flight opportunities for passengers. For more details, check out at their website and Facebook here:
I would like to thank the amazing staff at FLOAT for this opportunity to promote the company, and capture an awesome Cessna Caravan flight adventure from the cockpit perspective for those AvGeeks who like to nerd out on planes. I've included the ATC to help narrate the flight. Also a big thanks to Ryan Bomar who led me to this filming opportunity. You can see his videos on board FLOAT Shuttle here:

This was a very unique opportunity to film an engine start and takeoff of a fairly rare bird, the Dornier DO328 Jet. The carrier Taos Air offers air service from Southern California (HHR and CRQ) to Taos New Mexico, for vacationers/skiers. The also fly out of Austin and Dallas.
A big thank you to my good plane spotting friend Ryan Bomar, Taos Air, and the crew at Jet Center Los Angeles for chance to capture this moment on video. Check out Ryan's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/ryanbomar.
Enjoy the video!JSX ERJ-135 Flight with Snowy Mountain Views! (BUR-MMH-SNA)LoveJT8D2019-12-20 | As 2019 is coming to a close, I thought this would be an appropriate video to wrap up the year with. This is a flight I took with @RyanBomar to experience the semi-private flying experience offered by JSX (formerly JetSuiteX) from Burbank, CA to Mammoth Lakes, CA. This was an absolute amazing experience, from the boarding area filled with games/snacks, the friendly flight crew, to the beautiful snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Perfect scenery for the holiday season! If you plan on flying regional SoCal routes such as Burbank to Vegas, Napa, Phonenix, Oakland etc... I highly recommend JSX. The experience as a whole takes the stress out of flying, and actually makes it enjoyable.
Because this is a long-form video covering the entire round trip flight (Burbank to Mammoth, back to Orange County), I've included the following time stamps for ease of viewing, should you only be interested in a specific segment of the flight:
Flight Data is as follows: Airline: JSX Aircraft: Embraer ERJ-135 Reg: N252JX Route: BUR-MMH-SNA Flight #: XE-323, and XE-324 Seat: 10C Date: 3/31/2019
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas / Happy New Year, and excited to see what 2020 has in store.
#JSX #Jetsuite #SoCalDelta Airbus A220-100 First Class! SJC-SEALoveJT8D2019-11-23 | Finally had a chance to hop on one of Delta's newly acquired A220 aircraft from San Jose to Seattle. Previously known as the Bombardier "C Series" this plane is sleek, comfortable, and a friendly Delta staff who made sure the experience was enjoyable. On shorter hops like this one, first class tickets can be really cheap so thought I'd try it out. Everything from the seat comfort to the meal was excellent and everything I could have expected for a regional flight. This plane is capable of so much more when it comes to distance and economics, so will be nice to experience a longer trip sometime. As with my other videos, this is primarily a look over-the-shoulder experience so the footage pretty much speaks for itself. I hope you enjoy the awesome views landing into Seattle. Flight info is as follows:

They are based in the Hawthorne, CA Airport (HHR) and provide comfortable, reliable and quick service on short hops to and from Southern California. Also, with airfares as low as $99 one-way (the price of this flight) this is a perfect excuse to try out a King Air 350 turboprop aircraft if you haven't flown on one before. The seats and cabin space are quite comfortable.
On this particular flight, Ryan Bomar and I decided to give this airline a try to document the experience. This footage includes everything from boarding, interior shots, amenities, to spectacular mountain views along along the way. If you need to go to Phoenix and don't want to mess with the hassle of LAX, check out Advanced Airlines via Hawthorne airport. Check out Ryan's video here: youtube.com/watch?v=QRay63v8dkc&t=1154s

An amazing flight during a remarkable East Coast snowstorm! This documentary style video was really fun to shoot, and gives you a first hand view from the passengers perspective in United’s new Polaris Business class. Since this flight was a domestic flight, it doesn't represent the complete Polaris service one might receive on an international flight.
Also at the main focus of this video is the sights and sounds of United’s new 787-10 Dreamliner which is a very beautiful aircraft, and had an overall positive passenger experience. The crew was friendly, attentive, and never missed a beat despite the weather delay. This project is intended to be an entertaining experience looking over the shoulder of the passenger, so there is no critical "trip report" type commentary. If you do have more detailed questions about the experience feel free to ask me in the comments.

KC-135R Stratotanker PerspectiveLoveJT8D2019-06-09 | I'm excited to share this project of an aerial refueling training mission between a KC-135 Stratotanker and C-17 Globemaster, based out of March Air Reserve base (KRIV). This project required lots of TLC and patience to put together. However, I think the details and most importantly the story came together nicely. This video shows the mission primarily from the tanker's perspective, and takes you through each phase of the flight including the ATC. The weather was spectacular, and got to see different types of high level cloud formations during the refueling segment of the video.
First and foremost I'd like to thank the crew for their service and work that went into this flight: 1Lt Aaron Bolton (Pilot), Major Zach Valdez (Co-Pilot), SrA D'Avante Wells (Boom Operator), and Capt Matt Cooper (Cargo).
In addition to the flight crew, my warmest thanks goes to March Air Reserve Base, the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, and 912th Air Refueling Squadron. It's really cool working with them to bring projects like these to the public. Not only is it important to recognize our troops, but to inspire those looking to pursue a career with the armed forces.

I'm pleased to share my experience of flying a 1928 Ford Trimotor (5-AT-B) hosted by EAA Chapter 393 based at Concord, CA Buchanan Field Airport. I can't begin to say how amazing the crew was. They were friendly, polite, efficient, and accommodating even in a high stress environment as there was a high volume of people booking flights. They not only made sure I had the best flight possible, but ensured I got the footage I needed for this project. I highly recommend a Trimotor flight out of CCR with this Chapter.
Good friend and fellow aviation lover Ryan Bomar recently flew on this same aircraft out of Palm Springs Airport which has beautiful desert/mountain scenery. You can see his video here: youtube.com/watch?v=eLjkQQThnGU

More specifically this particular aircraft is registered N714CB (the CB in memory of Colleen Barrett). Not to mention Hermosillo has some very cool sights downtown if you have the chance to take a taxi around the city.
