3D Printed Mini ITX Build Carter Hurd 2019-03-16 | This is my first PC build, and I decided to try something different. I placed two case fans between the power supply and the graphics card heat, which seems to work alright. For the general shape, I was inspired by the Evolv Shift series, and went for that "mini tower" look. The case is 3D printed with hand-cut acrylic front and back plates. Fit an finish could be [lots] better, but I wanted to see if the configuration worked before jumping right to metal. Components: Ryzen 5 2600ASUS ROG Strix X470-IMSI GTX 1050 TICRYORIG C7SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 250GB PCIe G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GBARCTIC 80mm Case FansPower Supply Upgrade for 400W watt Dell Vostro 200(Slim) Thermals outside of case after 20 mins of RealBench stress test: CPU Maximum Temp: 67cGPU Maximum Temp: 59cThermals once inside the case: CPU Maximum Temp: 78cGPU Maximum Temp: 77cThermals once inside the case with fans blowing UP:CPU Maximum Temp: 95cGPU Maximum Temp: 66c ...this design probably wouldn't work for more powerful components, but seems to be alright for my use.
