Jackie Davis - Mañana (Is Soon Enough For Me)
updated
"A dreadful place. Easy to vanish without a trace there, no matter how lucky you have been in life so far. Whoever gets close to the Brain Scorcher immediately goes insane, turns into a zombie and starts stalking the Zone restlessly. A human shell is all that's left. No one has ever returned with a sound mind."
Our main goal was to make small adjustments to the noosphere, allowing us to remove things like anger, cruelty, greed and other negative factors from the planet. Individuals are unable to affect the noosphere but C-Consciousness could.
Unfortunately we made a mistake, and our interference spawned the Zone, which we have been trying to contain, ever since..."

The first clip is the video that plays when Ollie and Margaret first watch Uncle Jack's last broadcast tape, unfortunately there's no audio without their voices included.
The second is what is actually broadcast to Wellington Wells and is unique in that it's seen in colour (at least in the studio) and shows Jack going mad and eventually smashing the camera (the static was added by me).
The third, which is audio only, may have been the first iteration of Jack's breakdown. It's very similar to the first, but instead of warning everyone and then going mad, Jack simply breaks down and weeps.

I love the introduction to Arthur's story, the part with the redactor is very reminiscent of memory holes and the Ministry of Truth from Nineteen Eighty-four.
Hopefully this version doesn't have lag.

Yeah this is a stupid little thing I made after working some more on the analysis vid. I was originally going to use this clip (minus James Brown) in the analysis intro, but found a better one to use. Still, didn't want to waste it!
Voice lines were altered with Audacity, I reduced pitch by about 10. Any lower than that makes the lines garbled.
This has become my favourite combat music out of Half-Life: Alyx, now extended to how it would be heard in-game (it keeps playing until all enemies are killed). Composed by Mike Morasky.
Combine soldiers may speak lines from these categories. Lost visual means when unable to see an enemy for more than 3 seconds, Lost Enemy means the target has evaded them for longer, Recon is when the soldier is actively searching the area, and Overwatch is when the soldier is monitoring the area for future contact.
Some voice lines play in numerous categories, the most noticeable being the Recon Search lines that play in both Lost Visual and Recon Search categories. The speaker script that determines what lines soldiers will use shows that the Overwatch category also uses the Lost Visual/Enemy and Recon lines, but I decided to only list the Overwatch lines due to the video getting really long.
Definitely the longest voice lines video so far, I think in future I'll be doing smaller ones.

For some reason any addons I have enabled in the very first level stop working when the next one loads (van crash, hence the noclip), yet addons work just fine when starting from other chapters. No idea why.
Lines that play when Combine units are attacked or otherwise injured, as well as rapid breathing lines that may play when a soldier is limping. The unused lines are marked as such due to the file names not being mentioned in the relevant scripts.

Here's the prison transport van crash again, this time with voice lines only too. Also I've noticed while recording this that the front of the van only has one door that opens (driver's side), I'm not sure if that's deliberate or a mistake.
While I still prefer the HL2 version (which can be heard as background noise in the first two levels), the HLA version has grown on me. The Overwatch Voice is played by Ellen McLain.
The announce lines when a soldier starts attacking, sees, and kills an enemy. Also included are some unique Ordinal order lines.
I've not added the announce grenade attack or deploying manhack lines, you can find those lines for the Grunt and Ordinal respectively here youtube.com/watch?v=JfEYQn9fJPs&feature=youtu.be
I will upload the other units' grenade lines (unused) in a future video.

Didn't notice before that if you touch a Combine Force Field, it makes what I can only describe as "watery" noises. And as you might have guessed it, I really like hearing it.
The 3rd iteration of the Combine Laughter video, now with radio sounds, a Charger line I had missed previously, and separate sections for laugh and fakeout success lines. I'm not sure what the trigger is to make Combine soldiers laugh, however the fakeout success lines play when they successfully lure the player out from cover by pretending to be friendly.

These lines (if used, I'm not sure) play when the player has upgraded their weapons, or "boosted" (upgraded) "spikes" (weapons) in Combine terms.

A few things to know:
* Every unit type has voice lines for throwing grenades, however as the Grunt is the only one seen throwing them in normal gameplay, I felt these lines are unique to the Grunt.
* Chargers may or may not use the shield flashbang lines, I've not come across them yet but they are still said only by Chargers given they are the only ones equipped with shields.
* Chargers used to be able to switch their shotgun to a stun baton (hence hammer), then charge the player. This attack move was taken out, however the animations and voice lines remain.
* I couldn't find any lines that are spoken only by the Suppressor, it seems all the dialogue the Suppressor speaks is shared with the other units.
