- Cheddar CheeseMario Kart Tour: Summer Festival *Coin Frenzy & Full Combo Every Track*SPsm64TAS2020-09-14 | This was an interesting tour with all the short Tokyo tracks in every cup. ACR was pretty fun this time around with solid track selection overall. I accidentally forgot to drag an audio clip in Vegas before rendering, so there's 5 seconds of missing sound at the beginning of Royal Raceway R in the final cup. All 36 races were recorded from Sept 4th - 8th. Thanks for watching~

I was testing my new screen recording app trying to get sound to record and just happened to get that run unexpectedly. That race was done on Aug 18th while the other 35 were completed from Aug 22nd - 25th. Not sure if I'm gonna record ACR every tour, but it was fun aiming to coin frenzy + full combo all tracks this time around. Fell a little short of that goal because of time constraints, but overall I'm happy with the footage. Shoutout to the real MVP, flour, for helping with more accurate touchscreen inputs (except GV1T because I wasn't ready lol).

Sorry if the quality isn't the best.
Ranked Cup for Baby Rosalina Tour. An example of a tier 2 driver non-stop combo on N64 Kalimari Desert using a level 2 Goldpass glider. I included my phone's finger tracker on screen. Full combo on this level without frenzy is overrated in difficulty imo, you just have to know where/how to do the required awkward mini-turbos. With a T3 driver, it's doable with a T2 glider as well. Hopefully this helps people that were struggling to keep a combo.SM64 TAS Competition 2018 ~ Task 25 CompilationSPsm64TAS2018-12-31 | Task 25 Results:

THANKS FOR WATCHING!Super Mario 64 - Why a 0 Keys TAS Isnt Possible [Commentated]SPsm64TAS2018-01-08 | Hey, everyone! I've seen this question asked quite a bit since the release of the 1 Key TAS, so I figured making a video explaining the answer would be easier than replying to everyone individually.
Perhaps one day we will see a 0 Keys TAS completed, but this is definitely the biggest roadblock. If you have any questions, post them down below in the comments! Thanks for watching :D
As per usual, I'll be making task compilation videos, but credit for starting this wonderful movement goes to SilentSlayers & Ethan White. Here's their channels so you can follow them:

Thanks for watching ;DSM64 TAS ~ Defunct Random Route Run (2011/2012)SPsm64TAS2017-11-28 | Sup? Vintage freeruns make me happy af to watch! This oooolllllddddd clip is from a 2-star random route TAS that was never finished. I was planning/making it with Nahoc and then the 120-star TAS took priority and this was basically forgotten about...UNTIL NOW! I still like some of the material in here as a throwback to simpler times before ABC and god-like optimization, so I figured I'd upload. I also showed it to SilentSlayers recently and he pointed out something I hadn't realized:
SilentSlayers: Holy shit that glitchy wall kick on the seesaw Silentslayers: This proves you only need one wall to glitchy wall kick, the fuck.
"SM64: The Green Stars" is a Super Mario 64 ROM hack made by Kampel in 2013. It introduces new harder levels, custom music and a greater amount of stars to collect.
TASers 4232nis, homerfunky, and sm64expert use the game's various glitches to blast through the hack, finishing it with all 130 stars.
Special thanks to Aktan from TASVideos for helping with this encode.Super Mario Star Road - 20 Star WIP (80 Stars BLJless TAS)SPsm64TAS2017-06-18 | Tool-assisted, with 88k rerecords.
This WIP was created from late 2012 to early 2014, and has been defunct since then for a variety of reasons (relating to the run itself as well as my own life). Special thanks/credit to Kyman for a couple of the stars in this video and helping me plan things for routing, etc. Also, is anyone still interested in seeing this [arbitrary] run finished in 2017? Perhaps the remaining 75% would be worth it to TAS if enough people want that.
Me: *http://twitter.com/sonicpacker *http://www.facebook.com/SM64TASIntroduction to TAS: Tool-Assisted Speedrunning (What, How, Why?)SPsm64TAS2017-02-22 | Welcome to my glorified PowerPoint aiming to simplistically explain exactly what a tool-assisted speedrun, or TAS, actually is, as well as how they are created!
Misinformed comments I've received on my uploads during 7.5 years of TASing about how "it's cheating" and that "a computer/robot makes these" are a couple of the sparks that motivated me to write, record, and edit a video like this. I hope I managed to clearly convey what being a TASer is like and the time-consuming effort players have to put into their speedruns to achieve a successful final product.
Feel free to post any questions you may have in the comments, and if you have any suggestions on other topics for videos like this, go ahead and let me know! Don't forget to leave a "thumbs up" if you enjoyed the video :) Happy 2/22!

As you can see, this run's input file is an edit of my last upload. In which, I accidentally chose a star with a cutscene not realizing it adds into SM64.org timing, so I lose a couple of frames from skipping that.
Anyway, I didn't really test anything regarding RNG with this star. I just wanted to make this run because of the BLJ & I enjoyed this star while playing through the game and knew a TAS would look cool due to knowing where on the course it will land.
A TAS that came about by complete accident, but hey, whatever works! I'm sure this BLJ can be used for other stars in this course as well. Oh, and I used 569 rerecords. More to come!
Edit: 1 frame can be saved for sure because I realized I did a quickturn instead of killing speed by running into the BLJ spot and 0 inputting. I also lost a couple frames from choosing a star with a cutscene due to how SM64.org timing works.SM64: Last Impact - The Time-Travel Temple in 2482 [TAS]SPsm64TAS2016-10-03 | This much anticipated hack by Kaze can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG4PCVfu4qo
I love this star and wanted to give it a speed run route from the time I played it. I found the 2nd BLJ by accident during the process of TASing, and I'm sure glad it worked out as such! 1103 rerecords used on this dual-BLJ madness, hope you enjoy the outcome!
Here's a TAS of the shortest star in the game...well, if you manage to pull off this unintended triple jump method. :D 860 rerecords this time around and it's definitely improvable, as I mostly wanted to show the strategy. A much longer star is coming next, and I already have a route planned!
Tool-Assisted. Found this strategy fairly early in my beta testing and wanted to make a TAS of it after release...So I did! It took 2756 rerecords and I think the final result looks pretty cool. :D Oh, and turning on the first of the double clouds isn't slow because there's a time limit in between how long you can use clouds anyway.
I actually uploaded a preview that was 1.1 seconds slower and linked it on my Twitter. That may or may not happen some more ;)
Tool-assisted, with 470 rerecords. I tried to minimize lag best I could in the lobby of the casino, which is why the camera is kinda suck-ish. I love TASing this game so much!!
Special thanks to Kaze for letting me in on the beta testing of this amazing game! That's why I already have 130 stars, lol. This TAS is from the 15th course, Rainbow Road, and it took 828 rerecords to make it.
