Death & Romance // Typography (ft. @stcubing ) MegaOof 2025-07-25 | I am very excited to finally release my very first motion typography, and my first collab with none other than @stcubing .This project was started in very late may, and it was a blast to get to work collaboratively in a way that I'm not used to up until it's release. A couple of things got in the way of getting it done as soon as possible; but nonetheless the process of making this was a great way for me to practice using Ae, as well as work collaboratively with another extremely experienced designer. Stitching together our parts and making them more cohesive as a whole was fun to coordinate and work on. During the drafting stages of this project, we made the choice to split the work into 4 parts, with one of us getting odd numbered parts and the other getting evens. I chose to make part 1 and 3, along with the intro section with the help of stcubing. Stcubing was a huge help throughout the creation of this, and gave extremely helpful pointers at points where I wasn't sure what to do. From Air Motion Graphics // After Effects MegaOof 2025-05-26 | This is a project that has been in the works for a long while now, and I am extremely glad that I can finally show it to you all. This is my favorite project to date, and I could not be happier with how it turned out.For this project, I wanted to be able to convey the atmosphere and buildup to the song "From Air" by LLAAPPSSEE. If you haven't heard the song already in it's entirety, I would highly recommend you give it a listen, it has some of the most stunning atmosphere and percussion out of any song that I've heard. Because of this though, I thought it'd be a great track to interpret as a motion graphic.For the meaning, I wanted to convey ideas of thought creation, and how old thoughts can be revived into new ones as if they come "from air". How well I conveyed this is up to your personal interpretation, but I'm very pleased with the visuals nonetheless. I learned a ton about AE just from this project alone.Special thanks to @stcubing for giving feedback and in general being a goat that encouraged me to finish projects like this. Clockwork Animated Loop // After Effects MegaOof 2025-01-26 | It's been a while since I've last shown anything After Effects related, but I am very proud to be able to have this completed to show you all.As @stcubing explains better in the description of his animated loop, after being left in a group chat with just me, him, and @Rifct : while in call me and stcubing decided while into both try and make an animated loop using the same section of "Clockwork" by JNATHYN and Bryan Andrew Medina. Although stcubing was able to complete their animated loop much faster than me due to their experience with using Ae, I still found this to be an extremely fun way to learn the Ae editor and practice making motion graphics as a whole.I hope the completion of this project can open up more opportunities to complete and release projects similar to this in the future. [My Best Deco!] My Dream Weaver Creator Contest Entry // Geometry Dash 2.2 MegaOof 2025-01-20 | Only a day before the release of Cog, it was announced that Dream Weaver would be hosting a creator contest to decorate Buckendoof's gameplay part in place of Bowtie. Being a fan of Ocular Miracle during its time myself, this creator contest and potentially receiving the part meant more than any other to me.For this part I wanted to develop my style and set myself apart. With Cog's decoration, I had touched on exploring a more art-oriented style; but with this I wanted to fully incorporate art designs while also maintaining effect and glow elements. In the end, I feel I succeeded in exploring this style, and I feel this is the style I would want to continue to use and explore in the future.It was a pretty slow journey but I'm glad to finally have this done and out. While I do believe this to be my best decoration, this is in no way the best I can do. I still want to continue to push my limits as a creator, and hopefully Megaton will be the level to do that with time. Cog Full Showcase // My First Level of 2.2 // Geometry Dash MegaOof 2024-09-05 | After over 8 and a half months of building since the release if 2.2, and exactly a year after the release of Haywire, I am finally releasing my first level of 2.2; Cog.Cog is a level built on the basis of having all gameplay and decoration revolve around a single point, which is made very evident throughout the level. Although compromises had to be made for gameplay variation, I feel this goal was executed rather well and is able to use this concept effectively.As my first true personal project (since Haywire was for a creator contest), I did build this level with the intent of portraying a theme that is deeply personal to me. My Unfinished Levels of 2.1 // Geometry Dash MegaOof 2023-11-08 | What's up people, we're finally here. As the update comes to a close, I thought to make one last unfinished project compilation to look back at this update as a whole. My progression as a creator has been incredible over the course of this 6+ year long update, and I thought the best way to show it is by showcasing nearly all of my unfinished projects. I never really thought I would have the motivation to complete a full length level, but the Icarus creator contest and the kind people in the discord server giving feedback was all I needed to push this project to the end. To clarify, this is in fact my first full length level despite me using the editor almost constantly ever since I joined the game around the release of 1.9, and I think what took me so long was motivation. With most of my projects, I'll start something on impulse, get to a point where the level isn't up to my standards, and lose all interest in the project. But after this level, I now know that what I was missing was a goal to achieve for my levels. With that being said, I am more motivated than ever to create levels and I will absolutely be completing more solo projects in the future; especially with the upcoming 2.2 features. With Grax being my favorite creator, I feel that this level showcases their technical skill in the editor at an unparalleled level to any other level I have ever seen. I cannot comprehend the time and attention to detail put into each and every structure, movement, pulse, and effect; and that means a lot coming from somebody that has been playing this game and creating for over 7 years. I feel this attention to detail is what makes Grax such an amazing creator. (Extreme Demon) Tantrum 100% by Danzmen and more | Geometry Dash MegaOof 2023-05-14 | I had a mixed experience with this level. There are some really dumb choke points in this level, being the two robot jumps at 7%, the inconsistent ship at 21%, the waves at 36% and 51%, the ship and ball dual at 71%, and the wave at the very end. These choke points make the gameplay very inconsistent and as a result did bring down my general enjoyment with the level. As mentioned in the video I had around 8000 old attempts on the old pc, but I had dropped this level due to those choke points. After a while though, I came back to this level on the new pc and 144hz and beat it in around 2000 attempts. One thing I will say about this level is that the gameplay is pretty fun to pull off especially the choke points, so my enjoyment isn't all that bad. (Insane Demon) Neliswave 100% | Geometry Dash MegaOof 2023-05-08 | Honestly a really enjoyable level. The desynced wave parts were surprisingly fun to play other than a couple clicks, and they got pretty consistent in the end. I got really lucky with the last segment where you have to click exactly 8 times, so take my enjoyment with a grain of salt seeing as some people really struggled with it.
