BTS of a 360° Spinning Probe Lens ft. AstrHori 28mm f13 Probe Lens TRIO Stories 2025-09-06 | The 360° rotation of the lens is GOLD for out-of-the-box shots & especially when paired with the 90 degree periscope lens. Shot 3 we are buzzing about. We rigged up the rotation ring with the SmallRig Fiz Follow Focus system (as it has the same gears as the manual focus/aperture ring). We had Kacper rotate the lens as I pulled focus simultaneously to show the toppings falling onto the pizza and add the movement to follow it down. Probe lens shots can be a little bit ‘stale’ and samesies at times so it was fun experiment with some new moves. We filmed this Behind the Scenes with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.We take you behind the scenes of a 24-36 hour intense prep and shoot day of a commercial project for Amazfit with European champion runner Yeman Crippa. We run a production company TRIO Stories, and take on content creation projects for brands. In this case, we were tasked to create 3 short vertical videos and a photography set to announce the athletes partnership with the brand. This is the real life story behind the professional videography projects.We flew to Italy with our team and filmed all the behind of the scenes of the shoot. All the professional unprofessional, but certainly realistic moments. We show you what it is actually like to work on a commercial video project with a brand and KOL (key opinion leader). The fact that we have access to an AUTOFOCUS anamorphic lens still blows my mind. The AF in the 20mm is even improved from the 40mm, and we much prefer the wider framing. We’ve zoomed in most of the footage as we were shooting on a full frame camera and this is a S35 frame lens. We’re super hyped to have an anamorphic lens for run and gun filmmaking. The quality it delivers is outstanding, the flaring is really epic, and has the blue or natural flare options - we chose more neutral flare for the golden hour mountain vibes. With regards to the size, we had zero issues with handheld or the gimbal while skiing, its super compact. Stillness of Singapore Cinematic Vlog - SIRUI 50mm 1.6x Anamorphic Lens TRIO Stories 2025-02-05 | There’s something about shooting Anamorphic that gets you LITERALLY hooked. While on our trip to Asia, we spent a couple of days in Singapore and let’s just say - it was not at all what we expected. Check out what we found, through the lens of our trusty Sony A7SIII, with the @SiruiIMAGING VENUS 50mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic lens. We were travelling super light, no gimbal and not even a decent tripod, so all of this was shot handheld and manually focussed on the lens itself (no follow focus or anything). We did however have our @Accsoon SeeMo 4K with us, on top of the camera, paired with an iPhone 13 Pro to be able to monitor de-squeezed footage on the go.This is the third SIRUI VENUS lens to add to our collection (We also own the 35mm and the 75mm T2.9 1.6x) We continue to use the set all the time, with the price VS quality being honestly fantastic. It is not without its flaws, for example the flare can sometimes be a little bit strong, but overall - the lenses are an amazing way to dip into the anamorphic world, without breaking the bank. Unlike most product launches, particularly for tech, we wanted to create this Cinematic Short Film. With this film, we built on a small 'universe' that we created, with each of the regions, having their own Doctor, Professor or some kind of 'hero' to introduce the product. A world that shows a unique side to the brand. We've since made a bunch of short film commercials like this, and we like to call this "Cinematic Commercial Filmmaking".We essentially take all of our Indie Filmmaking knowledge that we've learned over the last 7 years, and combine it with the challenge of marketing a product or brand. Cinematic Short Film Commercial - SONY A7SIII | EcoFlow Product Launch TRIO Stories 2024-06-09 | We were invited by Ecoflow Germany to make a commercial for the product release of the River 2 Pro power station. Unlike most product launches, particularly for tech, we wanted to create this Cinematic Short Film. A world that shows a unique side to the brand. We've since made a bunch of short film commercials like this, and we like to call this "Cinematic Commercial Filmmaking".We essentially take all of our Indie Filmmaking knowledge that we've learned over the last 7 years, and combine it with the challenge of marketing a product or brand. This means we get to practice our storytelling and creativity whilst making money and growing our production company. We hope you liked this film!
