I was hoping to have this finished sooner than I wanted to, but I winded up getting busy with moving houses, getting sick, and other stuff regarding family and the holidays :,) Only a couple more parts are left to be completed, and I'm aiming to have the final MAP out ASAP during January, so keep an eye out for that! Script: After seeing Hailee argue with her parents, Bryan is concerned yet nervous to ask why. Still, he checks in on her, and Hailee reveals that she is a foster child and that her parents are actually just her foster parents. Bryan, along with someone else in the background, listens while Hailee explains her experiences. O Holy Night || Part 10 Llriftenn 2022-12-10 | I really wanted to join this map, but didn't have any warrior ocs that fit the mood I wanted to convey, so the only logical thing left for me to do was catify my human ocs XD Basically, the brown tabby Hawksight/Bryan has a premonition, and he realizes that premonition is slowly coming true as he starts to recognize the signs. However, he eventually passes out from exhaustion/the cold. Hollykit/Adri, who happens to be following him, freaks out when she sees him pass out, so she runs over and begs him to wake up, not wanting him to die. I had a really fun time experimenting with the sketchy style! Probably the largest amount of effort I ever put into a MAP part, especially since it was my first time animating in Clip Studio Paint. I hope you guys enjoy my oc Betel and his backstory explaining his mistrust towards humans! (I also wrote about the MAP part for my English class, so if you want a clearer picture then you can read the paragraphs below :)) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is what he experienced. Betrayal. An overpopulated village. Countless hunters, the destruction of life, his body being pulled back as he is dragged away from his deceased friend. He is unable to say goodbye and thank the old stag for its life. Betel wanted to see the stag again, but the hunters said otherwise: a heartless gang, a disease. Then came in more animals, two bulls and another deer from the entrance. Betel remembered the times he spent with them and will never get those moments back. He is angered by this sport and warns the people yet he is ignored and thrown to the side in the dust like a neglected dog. โItโs life,โ the people say. โWe need food to survive.โ Betel is taken aback and speechless. He helped the people live and thrive, and now his home is a wasteland. All he wanted was to belong somewhere, to have a place of security. But after what they did, thatโs impossible -- humankind is greedy, selfish, never satisfied with whatโs given to them, abusing all lifeforms without mercy. He cannot forgive them, not ever as their arrow flies towards him. The guardian has awakened beneath Betel; it was always lurking, and ready to defend. It performed humanโs sport against them and rebuilt what they destroyed with their bodies, putting love and care and nurture and hope into the unborn landscape that will become a new forest. The killings are gruesome. But itโs for the good of nature. Iridescence || AMV Llriftenn 2022-07-31 | Thank you all so much for 700 subscribers! Your support really means a lot to me, and I'm so happy I have a place where I can share my art, animations, and ocs with everyone! Here is an amv I made as a school project a couple months ago! It's not my best work since the storytelling was a bit rushed, but I hope you all enjoy it regardless! Some parts might be confusing so I'll leave a summary with timestamps down below:0:00-0:27 Ryker arrives at a forest temple with a tired, yet determined look in his face. He enters and it is noticeably brighter with luscious vegetation compared to the outside forest. As he walks down the hall, he passes some unusual carvings on the walls. 0:27-0:50 At the end of the hall, Ryker arrives at a monument displaying a tall stag. It watches over him as Ryker prepares a ritual, laying a lily, an anemone, and a bellflower. He bows, and in doing so the stag statue begins to break and awakens. 0:50-1:05 The scene transitions to a flashback, where Ryker is seen with his younger sister, Aria. They laugh together but are interrupted by a mysterious comet in the sky. Everyone in the town watches, and Ryker watches with an expression of wonder that turns to a look of horror. 1:05-1:20 Ryker wakes up to find that his home has been completely destroyed by the mysterious comet. Defeated and in disbelief, he looks up in shock to see Aria, completed knocked out with a scroll in her hand (this is where it gets confusing, just assume she got it from a village elder, sorry :,( ) Ryker opens it, finding a ritual to summon the forest guardian. 1:20-1:37 The scene is now transitioned to the present day, where the forest guardian is now awakened (forest guardian's nickname is Betel). Betel is in shock to see Ryker, and Ryker is in awe that such a being as Betel exists. Betel quickly pushes Ryker aside and leaves him be, leaving Ryker confused.1:37-2:00 Ryker stops Betel, asking for help with the force destroying the land. Betel refuses due to his distrust of humans, leaving Ryker by himself. Ryker gives up, and later on, finds a robin having its life force taken away. Ryker stares in disappointment, while Betel from afar sees the conflict. Betel fights his distrust and approaches Ryker, agreeing to help him out. I apologize again if some things are confusing/unclear, as the story is still developing in regards to lore and labels for specific characters/roles. I love these ocs dearly, so you guys can expect more animations/content of them in the future! This was definitely intimidating since I am not used to drawing urban backgrounds and environments, but overall I'm really proud of how the finished product turned out! For this MAP, we had to choose a location and have our ocs explore the area, and I decided to go with New Orleans! I used to live near the area and my family would visit there all the time, eating beignets and going to Mardi Gras parades during the season! I definitely recommend going to one when you guys can! I was able to work on this animation as a school project as well, so I was able to hit two birds with one stone ;) I won't explain much of what's happening since 1. I want the viewer to try and figure out what happening themselves, and 2. More information/lore about these characters will be revealed in later animations! All I will say is that the girl is Hailee, and the boy's name is Bryan (also Zack, either or). Hailee has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts, while Bryan has visions of the future, mainly consisting of premonitions (aka bad visions).
