Looking back, the graffiti on the wall at the start is a bit embarrassing, and there are lots of things here and there that feel somewhat sloppily executed. But this remains the largest Line Rider track I've ever made (by far), and the most time and work I've put into any artistic project before or since (by far), and I'm honestly impressed with my high-school self for actually pulling it off and finishing this thing. I mean, damn. However, I do have big projects in the works for the future (especially now that I am through with college and have more time to work on these sorts of things) and I can be reasonably sure that bigger and better things are coming in the not-too-distant future. I started this in December but didn't make it past the first 5 seconds until LRA came out, after which I finished it in a week!This is actually my first-ever complete naked track release that I have no intention of scening. So that's cool. I do naked tracks now, I guess.There is some tricky track splitting/editing stuff I did that you can sorta see in the color replay. Sorta hard to explain but let's just say... you never see a previous part of the track in the recording, even though he crosses through the same areas many times. Line Rider - Warp Rabid Squirrel / Bevibel Harvey (Rabid Squirrel) 2012-09-03 | Made for the 10 second scenery contest over on We Ride the Lines, thanks to Wolf_Spirit for running it! Ended up being more work than I anticipated, spent about 15 hours on it in two days thinking I was almost done the entire time, lol. But it turned out great and I'm proud of it.The idea was inspired by iPi's animation of a box bouncing in a box and Cereal's animation in Phun.I should mention that the track is almost exactly 10 seconds but I played it back at 30fps instead of full speed - so you could see every frame on youtube - so it appears to play longer than 10 seconds. By no means. Here's a little breakdown.- 1 month of whenever I felt like it- 3 months of nothing- 2 months of sort of solid work, I made the track and scenery up until about 1:26- 5 months of virtually nothing- 3 months of steady work remade second half of the track, scenery until about 1:45- 1.5 months of intense work (2-3 hrs/day) to finish the rest in time for Tournament of Champions 2- last two weeks was about 5-7 hours a day and I drew 30,000 lines. It was pretty brutal.
