I was sold a thinner that doesn't exist and I actually don't know what my bottle contains. Quite the discovery, I feel a bit ashamed. I guess any thinner that is not too matte will do at this point. AIRBRUSH: My airbrush is an Infiny CR Plus from Hardern & Steenback, my compressor is a very low quality chinese compressor without even a brand. I'm using this compressor since 5-6 years ago, so I might say that compressor quality doesn't affect much airbrushing but only your comfort (paying more will give you less noise and less overheating if you use it for prolonged times).
