Booker Prize 2019 has given us a neat dozen of twelve BookTubers who have so far entertained us with their inimitable views about this prestigious literary event. I want to use The Best BookTubers of the Year to discuss the benefits of having a mindset of abundance. A person with a mindset of scarcity feels that that there are not enough opportunities in the world. So, he'll be reluctant to support and cheerlead other artists. An artist with a mindset of abundance feels that there is a place for everyone. And she would be swift in helping and cheerleading her fellow creators. For a person with a scarcity mindset, comparison is the mother of jealousy. For a person with an abundance mindset, comparison is the mother of inspiration. The artist with an abundance mindset would be inspired by others' success while a person with a scarcity mindset would be deflated. These twelve BookTubers take on the challenging task of reading and making videos about this year's Booker Prize. Most of the novels are demanding in many different ways. Do please check these channels. If you feel that they are offering you value in terms of information, education, entertainment and inspiration, do please subscribe, like and comment to help their channels grow. Last month, 13 novels were chosen for the Longlist. Now, which six novels would you like to see on the Shortlist? And which six novels do you think would have dazzled the judges to garner a place as the top six novels of the year?
This is an original tag video with a difference! If you are tagged, you would be up against time pressures. The Shortlist would be announced on Tuesday 3rd September 2019. However, if you had been following this year's Booker Prize, I'm sure you would have many strong opinions. So, why not make a video with the following structure?
Tag Questions Part One: What are your six favourite novels from this year's Booker Prize Longlist?
Part Two: Which six novels do you predict would end on this year's Booker Prize Shortlist?
Part Three: What are the outstanding issues or emotions you encountered with this Longlist?
Tag, You're It! I'm tagging the following BookTubers who have spent the past six weeks making videos about the Booker Prize and, or commenting on others' Booker Prize-related content. So, you obviously have a lot of opinions about which novels should make the Shortlist. So, do please come up with your video responses!

"The greater the genius, the greater the suffering", said my namesake Samuel Beckett. Do you need to have a lot of heartbreaks and disappointments to become a novelist of genius? Well, one of the hottest novelists of the moment is Lucy Ellmann. It had taken her thirty years of talent and persistence to get this far. My new video explores her evolution from a writer of slender, experimental stories to the most groundbreaking, bonkers novel of this decade!

"It takes ten or twenty years of living to have anything to say... Writers of full length story works (major plays for Broadway, great screenplays, great novels) don't really achieve [anything great] at least until they are in their 40s because it took them 15 years or more to master the art form and it took 20 years of adult life to have any real insight in to life." Gaby Wood's article in The Guardian about literary prizes. Gaby Wood is the Literary Director of the Booker Prize Foundation.
"After Tayari Jones won the Women’s prize last week, she emphasised how pleased she was to be awarded a prize “on the international stage”, and noted that “so often, American literature is critiqued for being too insular”. Well, American fiction isn’t necessarily insular but American prizes certainly are. We don’t have to stoop to that. Without borders, literature means something more."

Malvin of KayTime TV is one of the funniest guys in Britain. His channel has over 51,000 subscribers. Yet, he faces pressures to quit making those funny videos. This is a typical obstacle that faces most creative people with big dreams.
Malvin published a video on the 30th November 2018 announcing that he might have to quit. He asked for help from his subscribers. So, as one of his passionate fans, had to make this video. Although it is for Malvin, anyone else with parents or loved ones who might encounter pressures to "get a proper job" will find this video valuable.
