Post-Update CoX CM 5s Run (Prep PoV) - 18:28.2 (Former WR)

HiImSido 2023-11-30 | These were my first runs AFTER the QOL changes hit, they were definitely not the cleanest but I think meta wise, I've got an idea of how things will be for the raid. I'll eventually make an up to date walkthrough for CM 5s when I pot other roles, but here's some of the major changes regarding procedure.

For ice, you drop 3 items (Bolts, Salve, Squirk/thieving cape) then instantly chop. You'll also start sharing the overload as you chop, to ensure you reoverload after thieving ends, since doing it later can screw your overload timer. You also hold onto your lockpick and drop your axe at ice.

Thieving you start picking chests as soon as you enter, and path toward the trough.

Prep time is a lot shorter, so you'll prep 12 Revites and around 26 brews (still figuring out the numbers). Could maybe prep less for both but need to do more runs to truly figure that out, 26 brews seems like very little but Muttadile change makes it viable.

Inq surge is now Vespula potions due to inventory space, and Torva Surge is TG. Overstockers can bring less potions down to bring more mage equipment (4 way/5 way)

Cross/Torva Surge don't bring two helmets, and instead bring a ZGS each for Big Muttadile, as for Prep (me) I bring ring of shadows to bring spellbook swap for thralls and barrage for small muttadile. Speaking of Muttadile, we no longer chop the tree and insta freeze (or try to freeze near the start) both Muttadiles and kill them due to the immunity going bye bye. This is on average faster, and reduces the amount of brews needed for the raid.

Banking overall has changed due to stacking kindling/grubs, so you'll only need to withdraw all at final chest, everywhere else you can just bank individual items. from the looks of it.

All in all, CM 5s is a whole lot faster now on average, even if this was a record run, it's easily beatable especially when more teams start potting. But it'll be fun to see how the metas continue changing now.

AFK Soul Wars (200+ Zeal per hour)

HiImSido 2023-11-09 | Hi everyone, today we break down yet another AFK method created by myself and Draco for anyone who wishes to do Soul Wars for the zeal which can be traded in for a variety of things: Imbues, crates for money/pet chance, the soul wars cap/ectoplasmator, and experience. The requirements aren't really high this time around, but higher stats can be more AFK especially with high prayer.

There are of course, two different variations of the AFK method you can do, full AFK for less zeal an hour, or the semi-afk, where you spend the first few minutes of the game doing some setup and then you afk for the rest of it.

This method is no means better then the current dolo method, but its much lower intensity, lower requirements, and doesn't need an alt. But it does rely on a bit of a bot infestation which could get purged at any point, and there are many variables, so keep that in mind.

Artio Is Now AFK - New Artio Method (40 Kills Per Hour)

HiImSido 2023-09-21 | Additional Notes: Elysian Spirit Shield is the best shield if you have one/can use one, good for pkers and you take less damage from Artio. Also sitting by the exit is the best spot, as Artio will walk up to you anyway, this makes it easier to escape PKers, even if you get snared. Virtus is also really good if you don't mind the extra risk due to it's increase in barrage damage.

And zenytes require 75 HP and not 70. My bad!

Hey everyone, with the change to Artio being susceptible to magic, you can now AFK it, by using, you guessed it, blood barrage! Now this method does require a few items and stats to make it work, but it's a viable method to kill Artio for the pet, money, and clues if your wanting to do so without paying much attention!

The Quest For Blood Torva (DT2 Awakened Bosses)

HiImSido 2023-08-10 | This is a compilation of all my awakened boss kill completions for the infamous blood torva! I struggled mostly with Duke and ESPECIALLY Leviathan, but we got it done!

Around 90+ orbs were used as on some kills I teleported out to avoid death/reset, with the sum totals of deaths and orbs costing over 300m.

20:00 CoX CM 5s - Crosser Perspective

HiImSido 2023-05-02 | Outside of me having to run back for potions at Vanguards, this was a solid run that shows how you should do things as a crosser. I ran BGS as we were all bringing voidwakers due to the no-crystal Vasa strategy becoming more of a norm.

Main things:
Be mindful of how your items are in your inventory to make banking go by quicker.

At Vesp, when it's health gets low, start running toward the exit after sending one more attack or so. As this allows you to cross faster.

Check with team at Phase 3 if people have 2 hammer specs, if that's the case, send 2 shadows and then prepare to spec, otherwise shadow once then prepare to spec.

19:56.4 CoX CM 5s - Preppers Perspective (New PB!)

HiImSido 2023-04-18 | A couple things to note: prep has changed A L O T, requiring a lot less restore (15 usually does the trick) and I try to make about 30 or more brews. Secondly we were all doing the no crystal vasa strategy, meaning we replace claws with voidwakers and prep bins restore for a ZCB. I then trade bolts at Vasa (you can also trade at shamans too in between hits). Otherwise, glad to personal best on my favorite roll and hoping to continue improving. - Water runes in pouch, so that I withdraw only 2 items during prep (then I fill pouch with bloods at 3rd floor for space)
- Custom swapped the crop to clear on shift.
- I rotate my camera during the first prep batch to make it easy to run to chest + make potions.

Also, yes I was wearing an officer uniform, as it was redeemed mid stream. Had to be done LOL.

Post-Beta Thoughts On The Desert Treasure 2 Rewards (OSRS)

The HARDEST PvM Challenge Yet: Blindfolded PvM

HiImSido 2023-03-17 | What's one of the most important things a PvMer needs, well of course a computer/phone to play the game, but also: Sight.

In today's video, we attempt a gauntlet of PvM challenges whilst blindfolded, we have our friend Perceptivity helping me by telling me where I need to move my cursor for all the encounters (but he does troll me early on). We start off with the Giant Mole and work our way up to finish at the Theatre of Blood.

Of course we didn't succeed in every challenge, but we still accomplished more then I had expected.

Hi everyone, so today we take a brief look at the new Ruinous Prayer proposals. From what I saw, I really like them and think they're incredibly powerful, and with some elements such as taking more damage to recoil damage, increased accuracy with low health, and more, as well as having two sets of protection prayers. I think that it's pretty strong but I do wonder where it might fall behind in some areas, such as where Redemption heals 10% more then this books version of the prayer. I also was hoping for a ramp up effect where the longer you have the prayer on in combat, the stronger the prayer becomes but none the less, I'm happy with what I saw today, but after having seen what others have said, some things could be adjusted (drain rate on absorption, and adding a flat accuracy on the accuracy-boosting prayer with further bonuses at lower health)

How To Take No Damage From Muspah Melees!

HiImSido 2023-01-19 | Shoutout @GnomonkeyRS as I discovered this trick per his suggestion.

This a short video, but they recently reverted the Muspah back to its old melee behavior, if you're a tile away on the tick it melees, then you'll find it does no damage as long as melee prayer is up.

This makes kiting it a good option again, meaning freezes aren't really needed and you'll save a lot of run energy too!

The Return Of The PvM Arena

HiImSido 2022-10-25 | An ancient relic of the past, the PvM Arena has been in the game for years, however you couldn't start games without two accounts that had the permissions to start a game from years back, HOWEVER, Classix, Jumanji, and Zam came together to help host a game after H8/Nmzscape talked about the days of the skilling cup.

And with that said, members of Oblivion PvM faced off against one another, seeing who could get the most boss kills or outlast the other team in 60 minutes.

I had a lot of fun trying it out for the first time and really hope Jagex brings it back to the public, maybe even revamp it.

One Of OSRS Craziest Achievements - Behind The Scenes: The Race To Raid Level 600

HiImSido 2022-09-28 | In today's documentary-type video, we go into the journey of one of OSRS's hardest, and craziest achievements: the 600 raid level completion within the Tombs Of Amascut. I break the video down of the journey to 510 and the events leading up to it as well as conversing with one of the games greatest PvMers: Port Khazard.

Secondly, I interview the man who accomplished it: Noobtype, and the involved parties as well: Saxerpillar and Perceptivity.

And finally, we look at the post-update events that would eventually culminate to the first 600 Raid Level clear in the Tombs Of Amascut.

Tombs Of Amascut - 4 Man 500 Raid Level Clear (FLAWLESS)

HiImSido 2022-09-18 | This took us a couple of attempts and theorycrafting, but we managed to get it done within 2 days of sending runs. Next step is going to be trying to complete an 8 man clear next, it'll be a challenge but I think it will be a lot of fun!
