This unique projection mapping lights up Matsumoto Castle in stunning colors and patterns, making it a must-see show! Fortunately, whilst we were there we had the opportunity to also see the annual ice sculpting competition, which was a first for us. Seeing the craft firsthand was truly eye opening, and if given the opportunity, we'd highly recommend it!We also tried to see the Japanese Alps from one of Japans best viewpoints via the Shinhotaka ropeway, but alas, the clouds got in the way! Hiking The Most ACTIVE VOLCANO Nearest to Tokyo, Japan - and it’s NOT Mount Fuji Roy and Aimee | Japan Outdoors 2024-01-12 | Mount Asama 浅間山 is the most active volcano in Japan's main island of Honshu. It lays barely 70km from Tokyo Prefecture, and is so active that people aren't allowed to climb it.
