I Watched Bert Kreischers New TV Show So You Dont Have To The Comedy Historian 2026-02-05 | Hey everyone, in today's video I take a look at Bert Kreischer's newest Netflix television show titled 'Free Bert'. I watched every episode back-to-back and found the show to be very weak comedically and lacking substance. I know a lot of good sitcoms and comedy tv shows follow the premise of being "a show about nothing" but Bert's show really takes the cake here. It was laborious to watch and I felt like a lot of the humor doesn't payoff, not to mention at some points it's very creepy and strange humor about sexualizing children in some way. A more clever comedian could've pulled this off, but I think Bert missed the mark. I tried to give the show a chance but it ended up feeling hollow and unfunny, and I still wish Bert the best despite his internet Lolcow status. The Never Ending Downfall of Wes Watson The Comedy Historian 2025-12-13 | Hey everyone, today's video is a continuation of my last video on the Alpha Male Internet LolCow Wes Watson. Wes started out as a hungry guy taking a second stab at life after spending several years in prison and made countless videos about his experiences in prison that resonated with men all over the world facing similar circumstances after their time behind bars. However, somewhere along the way Wes became a lot less concerned about impacting the lives of members of the YouTube prison community and far more concerned about money, clout, and copious amounts of steroids. Through his popularity he acquired regular spots on popular podcasts like No Jumper with Adam22 and the Fresh and Fit podcast, but this increase in exposure combined with his shallow and insufferable personality established the framework for Wes Watson to become the Internet's Least Favorite Alpha Male and LolCow. In this video I discuss why Wes has become so popular on the internet (to hate) and also his more recent antics with a gym attack that is highly likely to land him back in prison while also having his assets seized. I'm of course talking about the murder of David Kimowitz who was a beloved comedy manager as well as the co-owner of the Stand comedy club in Union Square, New York City. The comedy club is held at very high regard and often considered one of the best comedy clubs in New York City, but David was so much more than just a comedy club owner. According to Rich Vos and Big Jay Oakerson he was an excellent talent manager as well who helped them get career-altering gigs out of the kindness of his heart. Steve Hofstetter also talked about going to college with David and how great of a person he was. Michael Cox, the talent booker for the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon also had really kind words to say about David. Big Jay also talked with Michael malice about how he found out about David's murderer as well as how close they were on a personal level.
