This is something I have wanted to make a video on for sometime as there simply isn't many videos like this. As a filmaker myself I would have loved a video like this when I was younger!

Talyllyn Railway (2018) & Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway (2021) - Super 8 Film

ThomasTheTankMan111 2023-01-24 | Steam Engines in the present day shot on Super 8 film! Surley it hasn't been done before. Has it?
This was a fun project I worked on which I simply forgot about. Most of the footage I shot on these reels were of my friends in our final days of uni. But, I snuck in quite a bit of train stuff too. This project isn't purley my creation it was a collaberation but I won't mention the other creators name as I am not sure he wants to be credited. Recreating something similar to 'Railway with a Heart of Gold' was a lot of fun to do and I hope you have enjoyed this too.

The footage for the Talyllyn Railway was shot on the 30th October 2018 by a friend and myself. On a stock standard point and shoot.
The footage from the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway was shot on the 6th June 2021 by myself with audio by my friend. On a Elmo 1012S-XL

For anyone who isn't aware what Super 8 is here is the definition: Super 8 mm film is a motion-picture film format released in 1965 by Eastman Kodak as an improvement over the older "Double" or "Regular" 8 mm home movie format. These days Super 8 film is very expensive to buy and develop but this is one of my favourite things to use and shoot with. Might as well share it with you too! Might do more of these in the future!

70 Years of Preservation - Talyllyn Railway

However, I wasn't able to ride the trains. So I decided to finally upload some footage back from two trips to the Talyllyn Railway back in 2018. I'd been sitting on this for a while and thought it was nice enough to make into a video.

Wylie has always been there for me the past 3 years! He helped me get into uni and has literally done every little thing for me over that time that it would take too long to say. Thomas and the Magic Railroad - Thomas is Late! (HO/OO Remake)

It's a big project and recently I tried to recreate this scene. I did want to add Diesel 10 in this but I didn't get enough time whilst I was back at home for one day to finish filming his bit, so I thought I'd share with you what I got so far. Thomas and James have been wanting me to make a book about them for a fair few years now. Telling the stories about their adventures with Coaches, Tenders, Photographers and Rumours. So I decided to finally tell them to you.

My original Idea was to create 4 short stories to make into one video back in 2017. However, due to time restrictions this took about two years to complete. However here are finally all 4 stories put into one video.

So you may or may not be asking where does the future lead for me after this. I did want to make another book like this one. However, I realised that will take another 2 years to do independently. However, a team and I are working on a new project Thomas and the Magic Railroad related for this channel. You probably won't see much content from me now until December.

I'd like to thank you all for sticking out and enjoying my content over the years. I know I have lacked in frequent uploads over the past few years. However, this channel is not leaving anytime soon. I just put more effort into my content now which takes longer but I also don't live where my studio is anymore due to University.

27th - 28th September - Midland Railway Centre - Butterley Station, Nottinghamshire, UK. This event celebrated the 25th anniversary since Tugs has premiered. All 18 models were all be on display, including "Phoenix", Sally Seaplane's spare model prop.

This would include; Ballast, Mike's Whistle, Tit for Tat and Useful Railway. However, I never completed this project and it was cancelled due to these episodes being announced for Season 20.
