THE END? Lychee Chong 2022-12-02 | I was on the verge of quitting, but the Queen arrived just in time. Today is the last day of my first ever plush campaign, and as predicted, we didn't reach the minimum for it to go into production. I was going to announce my plan to venture into live-streaming and make a Fruit Vtuber IF we somehow managed to hit the goal, but looks like that won't be necessary. I realized the campaign reflects the state of this channel. Even with your continuous love and support, it's still far from the goal of this channel being a sustainable work. Looking back this year, I've opened channel membership, uploaded more frequently, tried to be more engaging... ...But nothing seems to change.I thought if I put more effort, things will work out, only to fall between two stools. All these while I've forgotten that I'm working alone, and my ability is limited. I felt defeated, depressed... Maybe it's time I look for a better paying job? That is why I described this channel as a dying tree. I was too naive to hope for a miracle, that this tree will bear fruit once more... Until the Queen enlightened me. "This tree is dead. Hope this helps anyone who is also exploring the possibilities of reversed songs :D I was using Fade Out at first, but later I noticed that it made the soundwave pretty "steep", and that brief silence still makes it a little uncomfortable to listen, so I wondered if there's anything that can make it less steep, that's how I found the Adjustable Fade.

Ben's presence really helped connect the dots when I was creating Cweepypasta contents. The Song of Unhealing have inspired me ever since the first time I hear it. It taught me that reversed songs can be beautiful. I remember the times when I was desperately looking for a clean, piano version of this song because you know, that abrupt "vvoopp" in reversed piano notes are kinda annoying, but I couldn't find a satisfying version... Welp, if you can't find one, make one! :DI had my first attempt back in 2016. It was not satisfying. Now that I got more familiar with FL Studio, I decided to try again. It was not easy. I was listening to the song again and again, repeating the same part, and I still couldn't quite figure out what those hypnotic notes are, I feel like giving up. Then I tried composing the unreversed version and work it out little by little, eventually I got it :) I still feel that it can be better, but that's up to the future me to make. Jane did not succeed as she was stunned by Jeff's beauty. It was a short animation inspired by the Chap Goh Mei tradition, whereby single ladies would write their names and contact details on a mandarin orange and throw them into the river for boys to pick up. I have finally graduated from uni after 4 years in the game design course, and I'm thinking how I can apply the knowledge I've learned to this channel, to bring more interesting interactions. Maybe you've noticed, there's more animation going on in this video compared to my past videos, that's because I'm switching to Clip Studio Paint, and it's wonderful! I'm still learning it, just bought it in March 2020, but dayum the differences, finally a proper animation software! This is the first lengthy animation made using CSP, so be proud, Cweepypastians! Also, I'm exploring my musical side. All the music you heard in this video are composed by me in FL Studio 12. I've always had this concern that making my own soundtrack is time consuming and doesn't quite fit the mood. It's true, but not as hard as I imagined. I managed to do all the sound edits and music composing in 3 days. I guess you'll never know until you try :) I've always wanted to make a metal soundtrack, quite satisfied for my first time, though sorry if it hurts your ear _(:3/Another thing, long time Cweepypastians would know that I like to upload on special days. Through making this video, I realize that it doesn't really matter anymore. If I rushed an animation just for it to be on time and the quality sucks, what's the use then, you won't enjoy watching as much either. Why not start earlier you say? Well, ever since I started using CSP, I thought "Hey this software is hella expensive! It's about time you put some effort and do actual animation instead of slideshows!" I used CrazyTalk Animator 3 and Windows Movie Maker for this and guess how long it took... 3 DAYS (not include planning and making sprites). It takes even longer than using Paint Tool SAI! But at least it's showing more animation compare to my previous Cweepypastas (more like Cweengey slideshows). Maybe I'm not used to it yet but I gotta be honest, I don't really like working with this software :(Anyway thank you all for watching my Cweengey slideshows! I apologize for that ;-; but I'll put them in future videos. Speaking of soundtracks, maybe some of you have noticed it, I'm using audio from freesfx again. I remember the times when I would search for hours for the suitable sound clip or music, and sometimes get inspired from listening to them. The reason why I started composing my own soundtracks is to avoid copyright issues, then again I'm still new to the software and I don't have much of a skill yet. My soundtracks just doesn't work very well with the animation and the feeling is not there. I think I should stick to freesfx for a while.
