Fleetwood Mac was only one of the many things that brought them together, and would bring them even more closer when Tom decided to propose to his girlfriend. Owned by AMP Group, which also owns the Perfumeland store, the converted warehouse building consisted of a single go-kart track, a small arcade, a dining area and bar, and event space for parties, private events, and team-building activities.It initially closed temporarily in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Karting Orlando at Dezerland Park | Pro Track, Driver’s PoV (Take 2) Adrian Mata // Sachland 2021-01-23 | After my first two visits to Dezerland Park Orlando two weeks ago, I had to go back in and do some more go-kart racing... so here's a second take of my driver's PoV around Karting Orlando's "Pro" circuit! This time, it was without any major incidents, and I also improved on my fastest lap time during this run.Dezerland Park Orlando utilizes the structure of the former Festival Bay mall, which was then converted into Artegon Marketplace before its closure. The Orlando Auto Experience, a museum featuring various automobiles from the collection of real estate developer, Michael Dezer, is flanked by other core attractions within the building. Karting Orlando is off to the guests' left when they enter through the main entrance, and Bowling Orlando and Arcade Orlando are off to their right, across from the Bond Lounge, which, like the rest of the entertainment center, is in its soft opening phase and currently offers a limited menu; other amenities, including a bar and a James Bond-themed exhibit are expected to open this year. Karting Orlando at Dezerland Park | Pro Track, Driver’s PoV Adrian Mata // Sachland 2021-01-10 | On January 8, I visited the new Dezerland Park on the north end of Orlando's International Drive. Dezerland Park Orlando is a new entertainment center currently in its soft opening phase, and occupies the structure that formerly housed the former Festival Bay mall, which then became Artegon Marketplace.One of the center's main attractions is its go-karts. Karting Orlando has two tracks, one for children, and the other for adults and frustrated race car drivers (like myself). As expected, guests compete for the fastest lap time within their race. Dezerland also offers a unique "race video experience," for which GoPro-like cameras, provided by Viewpoint Videos, are used to record the guest's entire 6-minute joyride for an additional fee. Pulse Interim Memorial | Orlando, FL Adrian Mata // Sachland 2018-06-12 | On June 12, 2016, 49 young lives were taken away at a nightclub intended to be a safe haven for the Latino and LGBTQ communities--Pulse--near Downtown Orlando. While plans for a permanent memorial are in the works, the Pulse Interim Memorial opened last month, on May 8 of this year (at the time of this video's publishing). The memorial features hi-res photographs relating to the aftermath of the shooting, as well as a look at the names of those lost and one particular artifact of the building: holes that were punched into by law enforcement that allowed them to rescue as many people as they could that night.
