We are trying to turn this old stone shed into a cozy tiny home, starting with the stonework in what will become the off grid office, before we get onto the "snug" (or living room).We start the process of raking out the joints, ready to repoint with traditional materials. (or not.)This week we leave Portugal, drive through Spain, and put our self converted camper van on a 29 hour long ferry to get to Ireland so we can buy a house! Or not in this case.After spending months in Ireland last year we bought a remote 200 year old cottage and were hoping that after travelling from Spain on a ferry, with a dog and cat, that it would finally be time to collect our keys and start our off grid alternative life in the peaceful countryside. However, as with all good plans, there's some problems to iron out, or in our case, problems on top of problems, all wrapped up in red tape and paperwork.But, we are back to van life in Ireland, and I think you will see in this video just how happy we are about that.
