DJ Sneak - ADE 2019 DJsounds 2020-02-12 | Here we bring you a unique experience from legendary DJ Sneak at Amsterdam Dance Event 2019 using no CDJs, just two standalone samplers in the form of the DJ booth friendly DJS-1000.A self-confessed addict of the DJS-1000, Sneak has made it his tool of choice in the studio and in live sets revealing he’s made 200 projects in just 5 months! He explains how the DJS-1000 has made it quick and easy to generate ideas that can then be exported into production software to further develop, as well as a way to take short ideas to clubs to test crowd reaction before deciding which ones to evolve further. Sneaks starts with more of a live spoken demo conveying what he’s learnt to the ADE crowd, e.g. the benefit of limiting samples in front of you to give a focus. He then starts arranging a completely new track on the fly.
