Disclosure: I did not pay for this laser, it has been sent to so that I can make this review video. That being said I am really interested in this particular machine as its claimed it can cut through 12mm Ply, in which case could it be used as a template cutting machine at a fraction of the cost of a CNC machine?

A much simplified routing jig that did require being a little more careful but paid dividends and it actually dropped the time required to route out the shape by 2 mins.
I also forgot to mention in the video that I changed from a straight router cutter to a spiral down cut bit which also improved the finished and helped to reduce the time required.

After taking on some site work recently I've been forced to re-evaluate my dislike for being forced to by Systainers / plastic toolboxes with each tool I buy. Whilst onsite they are worth every penny. As I expect more site work to present itself in the future I decided to utilise the Systainers in the workshop so I can avoid packing and unpacking everything each time I go to site. I've only used materials that were already in the workshop primarily materials that had been used before or were left over from other jobs.
Let me know what you think.

This design is not only really easy and quick to make, it also allows you to avoid making a whole in the middle of your workpiece but also allows you to use a Pin if Required.
This jig spins on a Ball Bearing so its practically drag free.
Finish used: Expensive but incredibly hard wearing, outlast most others I've used. Polyvine Heavy Duty Floor Varnish: amzn.to/3oKZ2Nc

I wanted to make a beautiful wooden bowl without using a lathe (as I don't have one), or a CNC machine. I also wanted to try and minimise the amount of wastage generated and use only the tools that can be found in most woodworkers workshops.
