Hatsune Miku Append Dark as TamarinFrogs Saria - Sacred Grove Lullaby Remix
updated
》The ENG-dictionary helped a tad ( slidingwall.github.io/synthv-dictionaries/download ), but compared to yon Plus-Voicebank-examples around the Internet, you immediately notice this here is the Standard-voice.
By the way, please put the pitchforks down--- The pose of the official Muxin-artwork was just too perfect for this Ancient's robe we players can obtain in FFXIV, so I decided to go with it from a slightly-more-on-the-side angle. I simply couldn't resist. Q//Q
( And yes, I cheekily colored the clothing white. :hopes for a future Flow-version meant to be Themis' theme: )
Last but not least, the list of virtual instruments for this arrangement is pretty long, though you won't notice most of them. They are filling that void in the background as the whole 'scenario' sounded too empty in my opinion.

》My answer is: Nope, but it's a lucky coincidence due to Toon-Zelda's dress matching the girl so well~
Jokes aside, to tell you guys the long story behind this remix, I was for a while pondering which version of the Lullaby to pick. (Don't make fun of me for being complicated. x{ I didn't want to grab the next-best Midi and call it a day.)
Depending on the game, I also wanted to use a Voicebank which matched Zelda's age--- So, for example, if the final choice had been yon track from Twilight Princess, you'd listen now to Cangqiong.
But why of all things Minish Cap's variant, you surely ask. Well, the reply is quite simple: Because the credits of "Ocarina of Time" started with the same arrangement, hence this Lullaby-version holds double-nostalgia to me.
There was also the relatively new TLoZ MC Let's Play by the German YouTuber M00sician. I listened to most of the episodes while doing dailies in FFXIV since 6.2 had been released, hence my MC-nerve got additionally tickled.
The lyrics, by the way, are based on Jillian Aversa's arrangement in Hylian language.
Last point on the list: My remix-artwork is once again on the lazy side. Though, I don't only mean the background being based on the original pixel-art from the game. :scratches cheek:
In case you can't tell (albeit I'm pretty sure it's obvious), the Shian you're seeing is a model I made in VRoid; with Zelda's outfit being drawn onto a screenshot.
》BUT to defend myself, it's an overall means to accelerating my creation-process whenever I want to make something new with this Voicebank. (Also, I consider uploading her to Booth so interested people can use the model as well.)

》Yes, I'm technically speaking too early. But I prefer uploading this cover one day earlier because:
A) Stardust shares her birthday with my husband, who gets his present on 11th August, too, (since FFXIV's online-store happens to be a fickle / moody supplier when you order account-shared mounts)
and
B) I tend to congratulate people as soon as possible due to my cheese-head forgetting stuff easily and I rather not remember it when half of the day has already passed.
Another funny thing... Both Xingchen and Minus are featured in this year's official birthday-song, which apparently means they're sharing the date. In other words, my headcanon of them being twins can happily run in circles. ^ധ^
By the way, originally I wanted to solely cover with song with Minus since the day we watched the NGNL-Anime. But other tracks / remixes were a tad more tempting; plus did no useful idea for a drawing hopp into my head. However, inspiration was hitting these days thanks to Stardust's birthday, hence this video aka duet came into existence.

》Albeit I wanted to wait for an explicit cover-idea or even VSQx / SVP of his, today was the day when my current tinkering in VRoid demanded a break – and because I'm the type of person who has thousand things going on, I didn't accept any notion of vacation. ^_^” Remembering this old Vocaloid-duet I heard back then when I was completely new to voice-synthesizers, this seemed to be a good opportunity for testing both ladies.
However, dear Ollie, in case you read this text, every song-suggestion is just as before welcome to me~
(Also, another lazy picture, but only because the “Welcome on my Channel, Qing Su”-series started like this to feature my fan-design of hers. x3 Thus, if or rather once I let QS meet Shian, you guys can expect the same strategy again.)

So, after wasting two hours successfully, this frustrated Lalafell gave up and looked up another song--- Hence, here we are. :shrugs:
By the way, I know - RECLUSE - will obtain a Neo-update, but as you can see, I'm happily protesting against the creator's idea of Arachne sounding “not good” or however General Nuisance has told me her impression.
》I like your daughter already in this state; it's futile to make an attempt of changing my mind. =UധU=
Uhm, the artwork for this arrangement is rather a lazy piece – aka Chibis instead of proper physique plus simple background – because I wanted to save some time. See, I'm quite lethargic these days as we have around 36°C outside--- and due to possessing no air-conditioning-system, our rooms go at worst up to 28,5°C which isn't pleasant at all. Being constantly too warm, whereby even my appetite suffers, the only hobby I'm keeping at for-me-normal frequency is reading. :harrumphs: Summer simply isn't my season.

》Thus, after experimenting for a while with them without showcasing anything, I feel meanwhile comfortable enough to implement these files in my amateur-covers / -remixes. Admittedly, the English practices with Qing Su were a tad less difficult than my ENG-Minus-attempts; whereas I should consider, that an AI is probably always going to have an easier time than Standard Voicebanks. ( I guess you can figure that out without me mentioning it due to all the earlier covers, but well. :shrugs: )
If anybody's curious about my song-choice: Pro7Maxx throw now each Friday-night the second season of MiA with subtitles out, which was also the reason for them to run all three dubbed movies. In other words, the third film's ending-theme had last week taken hold of my head - with this here being the result.
Last but not least, I'm slightly disappointed by the outcome of my drawing. To be precise, for Minus I couldn't absolutely mimic the Anime's art-style in spite of its simplicity, which is frustrating. :sighs:

Not sure if this had been mentioned before, but all tracks featuring her plus another language than Chinese use SynthV-dictionaries from Slidingwall / Github as I'm only using the Basic-version of the program.
》So, hopefully her pronunciation (as well as how Minus and Infinity sang their parts) is better than the earlier, bare usage of Voicebanks miming a foreign tongue.
Uhm, to clarify this just in case: I do NOT speak Japanese, so I have zero idea if Memzir's lyrics are properly translated /interpreted. x'3

》This time, I dusted our beloved Vocaloid-Stardust off and let her - due to a similiar sound - distract us listeners a little from the unclean background-noise which is sadly stuck to my bad karaoke-version of this song.
To clarify: Albeit Audacity is very good in removing vocals, "樂園" doesn't keep its quality when I forcefully try to remove all of Haiyi's singing. The bass goes completely out of the window while the snarky beeps start biting too much.
Anyways, as I mentioned in an older artist-comment, Vocaloid's Xingchen is - in spite of Infinity sitting here - still a dear Voicebank to me, thus I'm happily combining the new Qing Su with yon old darling. ^ω^

》Of course Minus is here, too. x'3 Though, her presence isn't purely based on my fangirling, as I like how both Voicebanks sound together.
Lazy background being what it is, the Kaleidoscope-effect of Gimp in nonetheless a tool I will never grow tired of. Also, in spite of liking the official cover-picture of the song, I implemented it in this way due to a preference for Qing Su's / Minus' placement in the middle.

》My fanmade design for the VB is kinda linked to her name being a reference to “dream”. In other words, I gave this personal idea of Qing Su's appearance – next to the blue hair – these wings and elf-ears to emphasize the surreal aspect. :cannot explain it any better:
Altogether, I initially made four covers featuring Qing Su and the official instrumentals (plus overall three other Voicebanks). The other videos will be uploaded at a later time / tomorrow. Cover-pictures are quite lazy, but hopefully that's okay after needing lots of time to draw her. ^.^”

:makes angry Lalafell-noises because of .ocx-error:
》As said program didn't work (in spite of trying EVERY trick I'm aware of), my patience ran thin enough to grab gba_mus_riper and simply extract ALL Midis instead of the single file I needed.
Probably it's unnecessary to mention, but finding "Page One" took a while due to unhelpful file-names. Sorting the .mid-files by size only helped to find the actual songs among the beeps and toots... Though – on the other hand / in spite of investing a few hours (as memories didn't recall each melody) – I have now FINALLY all Midi-tracks lying around with the correct number plus appellation.
:clears throat: Before the question might happen:
YES, I go with every possible excuse to create an arrangement with Minus. (That's true for Synthesizer V in general, if I'm honest.)
》However, the initial idea for this remix came from a Tweet of Husky by the Geek, who mentioned Golden Sun--- The smallest thing can sometimes trigger me. :scratches head: Albeit I should currently complete another project (around 98% done), I'm the kind of person who should simply hopp once inspiration calls, as that moment's energy usually lasts just for a while. Long story short: Thanks to Husky, I could combine one of my preferred GS-tracks with my favorite SynthV-/ non-AI-Voicebank today~

》However, I have early-uploaded the track as a standalone-thing because these instruments sound too nice as if they wouldn't deserve some attention. Pianobook is really a great place to grab free VSTs--- I know that sounds quite repetitive, but it's the truth.
Uhm, the cover-picture is this time half-lazy, I guess? A Celia quickly tinkered in Vroid with edited presets plus an altered logo of that old DS-game ( which got a 'beautiful' bug that killed both my save-files! :still cries to have lost wife-Leia and soon-bride-Witch-Princess: ) aren't the biggest effort on my end, to be honest. ^.^”
Question is now, when the actual video will hopp onto my channel. Let's be honest, I'm not really good in making 'trailers' for Vroid-models (especially not when it's for custom characters, as it looks like), even though they are more of an extra for a texture-set. But at least I found a nice little program (it's called “iSpring Free Cam") to record in Vroid Studio, which means no gloomy / embarrassing slideshow of a bunch of screenshots. :lalala:

Though, it should be mentioned, that the Midi I happened to find last month is normally a tad faster. Liking the song's original pacing more, I slowed it down to 130BPM; it's normally around 145 fast, if Sekaiju gives me the correct tempo.
I also am convinced at this point, that combining instruments is simply my way of working, 'cause not even something advanced as BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover can bring me to focus on a single pack.
》Might be an amateurish trait, but in all seriousness, creating stuff for YouTube is my hobby, so as long as nobody wants to pay me, I won't care for what's normal and what's odd. (Strictly speaking, I myself AM odd, which should be proven by this remix alone.)
The artwork's a bit lazy; an altered screenshot and chibi-heads. My excuse: I'm currently sketching something difficult, so my concentration was already elsewhere when it was time to draw a picture for the remix.

》I avoided FL Studio so far as my old Music Maker is what I'm feeling absolutely comfortable in, but a handful of VSTs that I lately got unfortunately requires a modern program – so, long story short, for stuff such as DecentSampler my poor hard-drive has to bear an additional burden. :scratches head:
This short remix here is merely a test of the free VSTs directly found in the DS-shop (decentsamples website as well as in the program under Browse, Sample Store), but there are some beautiful things over at pianobook.co.uk/sampler/decent-sampler which most likely will be used by me in the future.

-》As an apology, the Arachne-picture (full size, solely her, transparent background) is up for download on my DeviantArt-account; link's in the usual Details-section.
The Widow- and Recluse-voicebanks are combined in this Cover as I could neither settle for a preferred sound nor color-palette of the hair; in case anybody wonders. However, Widow's a tad louder due to her getting better along with the Chinese text.
Speaking of which, I haven't taught a Japanese VCV how to read Chinese (aka Arachne's files aren't edited at all). The 'trick' is called: "Editing the VSQx's lyrics in Vocaloid, so that a Japanese Voicebank can sing them, and export them via UtaFormatix to the correct UST-file."
-》I abandoned effectively all Gs at the end of each note since - let's be honest - you barely hear, if it's just N or NG.
Ere I get the question: OF COURSE Stardust Minus is singing, too.
Do you honestly believe, Slug-artist here with her TRUCKLOAD of unfinished projects can wait forever to have a completed piece only meant for the SynthV-Voicebank she likes most? (Guys, I'm a dedicated Minus-fan, trust me. If I wasn't so stubborn to use my own artworks as much as possible, this channel would soon drown in Covers&Remixes featuring her.)
Also, visually as well as in terms of sound, I find Minus fits Arachne.
-》Maybe I combine them in the future again, though there's a small, clunky CV-Voicebank I made with a non-commercial RHVoice (TTS), which I'd like to release one day in case I come up with a design.

》For clarification, had SOLARIA's Lite Voicebank not been released lately, I would have completed the cover-picture you can spot here a week earlier. BUT as a fan of "Crystal Chronicles", temptation was simply too high for me to resist when mentioned lady matched "Sound Of The Wind" so well.
:clears throat: Back to Final Fantasy XIV.
Just like a good chunk of the community, this chaotic dummy adores the song "Close In The Distance", albeit I'm not becoming a weeping mess while listening to it. =U.U=
(In fact, the track is written in a manner perfectly soothing my nerves, so you could play it all day for me until I grew tired of the melody.)
Before you complain about the lyric's quality, please be aware that I don't own Studio Pro, hence no cross-lingual support for my Chinese AI-Voicebank. (Standards cannot use this feature of 1.6 Pro, anyways.) I do my best when trying to mimic languages foreign to these characters, as good as possible. Though, I curently consider looking for custom dictionaries for future projects.
Speaking of my darling Minus and lovely Infinity, I struggled with their Voicebanks' similarity while trying to come up with good singer-settings.
》You'd think their Voice-providers being not the same person makes such a problem impossible--- Guess what, Sawako somehow managed to match the vibe (set by the original / Vocaloid Xingchen featuring Chalili's voice,) when her lines were recorded. Thus, even as a Standard-Voicebank, my favorite and the newly recorded AI (featuring again Chalili) are hard to tell apart when not paying attention to some specific details.
My solution for the problem: Pitch-Editing of the Voicebanks in SynthV Basic and later Direction-Manipulation in MusicMaker.
To be more precise, while Minus was put a tad sqeakier (to sound slightly more reminiscent of her VP) and minimally to the left side, Infinity got a deeper pitch as well as a little nudge to the right.
It's not much, but believe me, without these two things it would be much harder to tell who is who.
Last but not least, a random titbit about the remix plus drawing.
Originally, I hadn't planned to make this a duet. When Stardust's AI was released, a rough sketch featuring Minus and both animals had already been made - plus, I was more or less done with editing yon Midi used as a base for this arrangement.
Alas, a few hobby-related things (not all visible on YouTube) prevented me from investing my leisure-time into this project, so the idea to alter the sketch could come up over time, in the first place. No .svp existed back then, which is why my only problem was to get a good spot for Xingchen.
P.S. Background is an edited screenshot of Ultima Thule's best weather-condition. I simply love it when the otherwise purple space gets such a beautiful blue hue. 🎵

In case somebody wonders, I was a child when the original “Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles” for GameCube was released, hence I'm used to the original pacing of the English lyrics. Yon remastered version for Switch / PlayStation4 / Mobile simply delivers the chanting in a manner I do not like, so bothering with any severe edits of vgmusic's old Midi wasn't necessary at all.
Anyways, I had since a while the thought in mind to finally make an arrangement of this track with a Voicebank--- especially after discovering Synthesizer V, there were all in all several random days which almost brought me to the point of doing it. Well, as you can see / hear, the release of SOLARIA's Lite version finally did the trick; this thing here (remix plus cover-art) was tinkered in the last three days.
Speaking of her, just as in ANRI's case, it's really a miracle in my opinion, how great the free Voicebanks already sound. SOLARIA Lite even has some kind of... let's say 'boom' to her, that I had to tune Tension and Breathiness down in order to make her compatible with this soft song. So much power is in this variant, already.
》Compared to Piapro's Miku – I merely saw a few videos testing her, but that's enough for me to make up my mind – seemingly every other developer does nowadays an amazing job in creating Standard or, like in this case, AI voices which sound a lot livelier than the characters I was used from Vocaloid4. (We need to bring our iconic Vocaloid-girl to SynthV, too, if you ask me. It was already a blessing for Stardust, so imagine how brilliant Miku would sound.)
Last but not least: I definitely need a proper bagpipe-VST, albeit this problem or rather lack isn't at all new on my end.

(Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I DO live under a rock. The general mainstream is most of the time absolutely lost on me. :makes embarassed Lala-noises: Let's move on, thanks.)
Before you ask, NOPE, I don't have Synthesizer V Studio Pro – I'm using Basic. Thus, Xingchen has a Chinese accent. Sometimes I'm pondering whether or not I should upgrade, but honestly, the money should – in my case – rather be invested in other Voicebanks. The only feature I'd truly make use of would be Multilingual, which on its own doesn't justify such purchase.
By the way, ANRI Lite is also here because I wanted to cover another song with her after doing yon rerun of "Let It Go Single Version"--- Sheesh, the more-or-less abrupt release of Infinity has indeed thrown the plans in my head around. x'3 As if slug-me by herself wasn't upsetting enough. :needs to stop ranting about it:
》I don't necessarily see ANRI as a Chibi while talking about the free Voicebank of hers, if somebody wonders about my picture here matching the western depiction of her mascot. (Also, how could I do that, when Taobao uses such a nice artwork? static.wikia.nocookie.net/synthv/images/6/6f/Anri_lite_taobao_icon.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20220102000045 ) The choice to sketch a small ANRI was merely convenient for saving some time.
Random thought: Drawing thin lineart feels wrong to me. Always. I know it looks in general better and all, but my shaky hands aren't made for super-precise stuff. You don't want to know how often I delete a line and redo it. Alas, the vector-option I have on PC doesn't exist in the mobile-app I'm using, so the preference for my phone has a frustrating downside. (Nonetheless, I'm happier to be not bound to a mouse. Sitting comfortably – more or less – in my preferred corner is a bonus, above all.)

The first RaNdOm experiment coming to mind (in order to test Xingchen Infinity with something else than a few .vsqx-files) made so much fun, that I decided to turn it into a full project.
》Though I don't know if "A cappella" or "Acapella" is the common spelling on YouTube, I really wanted to make this a 'group-meeting' instead of letting Stardust sing everything by herself. So, that's why we have my Gen2-darling and our lady Cangqiong in this chant.
Small sidenote: Due to her sounding quite similar to Minus when diving into the lower tones, I put Stardust's pitch aka gender-setting a tad higher.
(By the way, my initial concern - when those official demos were released - about Infinity being too different from Vocaloid's Xingchen doesn't exist anymore thanks to this feature.)
Also, in case you wonder about my Acapella-choice... I was since my childhood a huge fan of "Ocarina of Time"'s soundtrack, hence picking one of these old N64-melodies was kind of self-evident. Zora's Domain happened to be my favorite place in the game (which is also true for "Twilight Princess"), so guess how easy the decision was to settle for a single track.
My cover-artwork's Spiritual Stone of Water / Zora Sapphire is based on the old design. Albeit conform with the tribe's symbol, yon object featured in the otherwise graphically superior 3DS-version is a little bit boring if you ask me.

So, before Stardust / 星尘 Infinity got released, I had seriously picked up the random idea how Minus might sound if I made her sing in my native language. (Was mentioned on DeviantArt; in the artist-comment about our girl's 2B-cosplay.)
》As a result, here we have "Warten, dass ein Wunder kommt", which was more or less done in terms of lyrics-filling plus lineart-drawing when Stardust's sudden voicebank-release tilted my attention somewhere else.
Truth be told, the quest to find a Taobao Agent willing to buy digital products had me awkwardly asking for help / interviewing customer-services / googleing around, which had me occupied for a while. (I rendered myself helpless earlier, hence the urgency to find an agent who'd purchase virtual goods was especially personal because we're talking Xingchen here, after all.) Adding basic-colors to mentioned lineart was all I did in that period for the WdeWk-cover.
Alas, creating a tutorial about said purchasing-process ate some time, too, BUT in the meantime I learned thanks to SynthV's forum the command for Minus' breathing! It's not the standard "Br" - instead, you have to place one of the numbers 1 to 5 next to the letters for hearing the desired noise.
》For example, I picked "Br5", though there seems to be no difference aka no variation when picking another number.
Anyways, once yon video was out, I focused on Minus' Mirabel-cosplay, added that breathing to the cover, edited an official Encanto-wallpaper for the picture-background and wrote down the lyrics for better comprehensibility of her chanting.
Little side-note: The German "ch" used in words such as "ich" was - as expected - a problem. For this cover, I could either go with "h" for a sometimes unpredictable noise or go with the alternative "x", which meant a heavy dialect. Going with the latter might at first seem stupid, but to me it sounded much more charming when compared to the other not-so-right sound. Hence, Minus sings German a bit like someone from, let's say, Sachsen.

Until the situation changes, it might be necessary to find another Proxy-Team with willingness to buy digital products. Thus, I beg everyone who comes across such service to share that knowledge in both the comment-section and in the Synthesizer V Forum to help those who couldn't get their Voicebank(s) in time. :End of Edit: ♤

And while we're at it, the Taobao Agent this video is all about: parcelup.com
Anyways, let's do the usual thing and write a little behind-the-scenes-text. o/
( I swear I haven't slept enough in the last days, so if you see any grammar-mistakes worse than my regular standard, please ignore them. I was typing most of this stuff here last evening / night.)
So, uhm, yeah, what can I say? Stardust is finally a modern thing again. :happy happy happy:
》Of course I love her old Vocaloid-voicebank as much as I did before the AI was last year announced. You could also say, that I adore Xingchen as a child as much as I appreciate her as a young lady--- compare the two voicebanks; you should immediately get the comparison. To me, they are the same girl with just different ages, hence I keep the older variant in pure fondness instead of brutally replacing her.
Aaand not to forget to mention my darling Minus. Albeit I see her as a separate person aka as a twin of Stardust / Xingchen. (In her case, I'm at least not torn between the Chinese and English name, as everybody simply addresses her by the second part of her name.) Back to topic, she's the one I slightly prefer in this duo, though nostalgia-points aren't on her side.
》It's a lot like the case of Rune Factory Frontier's two Iris', when I mull a bit over the situation. While Iris Blanche spends more time with the player, Iris Noire is the one I happened to like a tad more, albeit both are my favorites. Which is exactly the same as with both SynthV-Stardusts.
( The RFF-comparison is an old thought in my head, actually. When I learned about SynthV as well as Minus, I wanted to have my Vocaloid-Stardust sing Iris' Spirit Song together with her. Unfortunately, I never found the spare-time for doing this cover. ^_^” )
As for the tutorial, it took me Monday plus Tuesday to get the Xingchen-sketch and 32 pages / cards including their texts done. I know the rushed creation of them is most likely noticeable, but my free-time is quite limited at the moment. Hence, I refused to slug around while my youngest project was something I REALLY want to release ASAP.
(To give you an idea, how much I had to organize my personal minutes... The stuff you can hear in this video represents the only moments I allowed myself to happily toy around with Infinity. In sad comparison, when I freshly got Minus, I made her sing practically ALL new VSQx-files I had laying around just to listen to her voice.)

Which means (apart from writing some notes for possible text-projects down): Getting this fairly old remix FINALLY out!
To give you some context, my "Endwalker Footfalls" arrangement is in fact younger than this tinkered music here. Several roulette-runs of the YoRHa-raids had originally inspired me to try "Weight of the World" with Minus - an idea which quickly developed from a mere cover to an arrangement after finding an almost fitting Midi for piano. Implementing good old Vocaloid-buddies SeeU and Merli for the chorus-sections was also easily done thanks to this amazing VSQx made by 混乱P on YouTube; this file had already been the perfect pick in Synthesizer V as our Chinese girl went smoothly with the lyrics.
》Welp, and that was the instant when the official lyrics of Footfalls were released. The rest is obvious history on my channel (as well as my AO3-account because of releasing a small chapter ere Endwlaker dropped). x'3
Uhm, I hate to address the next topic, but what has to be done... simply has to be done.
Apart from FFXIV stealing my leisure-time, there is also the problem with the mandatory vaccination hanging above my head. As a German who lives in Austria, I unfortunately have to keep an eye on the situation.
》'Thanks' to local politicians / paid media keeping lots of information about the sickness plus vaccination under the desk - facts which would normally be necessary to have a full picture - I'm forced to read articles from Germany, Austria and around the world on my own, since I refuse to be a blind sheep going naively into this horror-show. (Karoline Edtstadler said in German a very interesting phrase - "Mandatory vaccination is the only way out of the democracy" - which sounds too true to be a mere verbal error.)
Anyways, a nasty flu had me recently knocked out for a few days, which sadly paused my drawing-process of the cover-art. An aching throat is whatever, but when my nose doesn't get much oxygen, I'm always in a bad shape.
(There was also juggling school-stuff with my child, as her class was this week settled on Distance Learning, but fortunately most tasks weren't difficult for her.)
In order to save in the finishing process some time, I went with an edited screenshot from FFXIV for the background. Being lazy is bad, I'm really aware of that, but it's frustrating to be even more of a slug due to all these tiny things getting in my creative way. I'm mentally quite tired of all the politically overblown stress, yet can't look away as nescience would punish me later.
I'd say I'm now looking forward to writing a bit more, though I'm undecided which project to prioritize, whereby enthusiasm isn't all to present.

Well, turned out my ancient VSQx functions with English voicebanks of Synthesizer V good enough for a rerun. Of course I had to adapt some words plus tune-length for ANRI Lite, but what you hear now is practically 95% of the original file with a modern voice-synthesizer.
As my old cover did back then, the rerun here goes with the official Instrumental just as well. That's why I used the word “Cover” in the title, as my personal understanding of the word implies no usage of self-created instrument-tunes. You can interpret the phrase however you like, any way. I know people who in fact do remixes and yet call their creations covers, which is fine in the end.
But let's speak finally about ANRI: I adore her. ♥ So much so, that some time meant for leveling my jobs in FFXIV had to be invested in testing out this cute girl.
(You don't wanna know how many projects have already been halted due to Endwalker's release, so let me have at least this little bit of fun. :grumbles:
With my time-management being even without 6.0 all over the place, I had already to make the hard decision to leave Harvest Lunatone { deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone } as I'm convinced my group-spot should better been given to someone who's more focused on the group. Leaving HL made and still makes me sad, but I definitely want to give one more person at the next opening a chance to get in.)
For me little amateur, ANRI's Lite-voicebank is already very impressive – to the point where I honestly wonder, how AUDIOLOGIE aka her developers can afford to lend us such great software for free. Sure, sure, the sound-quality is worse when compared to the full AI, but coming from Vocaloid 4, I can hardly believe this is JUST a demo-version.
Unfortunately, I am quite bad with drawing girls with shorter hair – no matter which artstyle I choose, the result always feels off to me. Big sorry for that @ my fellow ANRI-fans. T^T I hope you guys find at least the outfit okay for which I settled – the plan was to stick to her school-girl-charm while sprinkling in some Elsa-references.
One last thing... I'll copy-paste and lightly edit the old information from Sweet Ann's version--- I know that's lazy, YES, but I had already enough headache while drawing ANRI as her pose was difficult to do for me in spite of having a model for support. xP

Muh, first things first... The virtual-instrument-settings are no 1:1-copy of those used in my "Teaser Trailer Arrangement".
》I added an extra soundfont (actually two, but they share one VSTSynthFont so they count as two halves), whereby some parts had to be altered for sounding mostly the way I had in mind. Furthermore, I based everything on my former Midi made with an active Bauerklos' soundfont, thus tune-loudness of CompiFont and co. is different compared to yon old remix.
Artwork-wise, I was mostly lazy due to saving some time / reusing the old coverart; no sugarcoating here. Though, it took me a small while to figure out how to re-color these clothes in order to avoid hue-monotony. Minus simply wears too much of the same purple on her official boxart. x'{
Speaking of my Synthesizer-V-Studio-darling, I love how her voice goes so well with Stardust / Xingchen. These two voicebanks almost seem to be two halves of the same item. :makes a dummy-joke you can gladly forget:
:scratches head: Back to seriousness...
Originally, I only wanted to use SynthV for the Footfalls-remix. You know, easier text-inserting / adapting words to a Chinese VB and so on.
》Hooowever, after looking over Vocaloid's CN Phonetics, I decided to invest some time ( a ka hours :grumbles: ) for Stardust in order to have both girls singing the lyrics. As I de facto mentioned, their combination is something wonderful in my opinion.
P.S. As we speak of lyrics, in this arrangement I tried to go with the Gibberish(?) / Chaos Language(?) which is used for the "Torn From the Heavens"-part in Puppet Bunker's endboss-battle. Actually, I would have preferred the official "Maker's Ruin"-text, but couldn't figure how to place them. xP

Uhm, to be more precise, the result is lacking despite having a rough plan – next to the official track, of course, there were a PDF-sheet as well as some lyrics from two YouTubers which guided this project. It's sadly all I could do, so this file needs at this point someone who actually knows what they are doing in order to become a proper base. Download-link for those who are interested is as usual in the detail-description below.
As for NieR Re[in]carnation, I really enjoyed the first arc – especially the story of Fio and Levania (albeit the final scene was lacking some emotions in my opinion) – but I doubt I'll ever again play yon game due to the exhausting grind.
The system (leveling not only characters but also their skills, separately, as well as having to upgrade EVERYTHING they can / have to equip) is just too much annoyance for keeping the fun alive. Thus, I guess I'll be content with watching from the sidelines and read stuff people are sharing on https://nierrein.guide/ or Twitter.
Last but not least... At everyone who hasn't played the game yet (though I'm sure only people who know Re[in]carnation will see this text): Give it a try and definitely check out the soundtrack!

(Yes, yes, I am aware the game is called “Fire Emblem Fates” in the West, but I still say If because that's simply how it was introduced to the world when the first Japanese trailers were thrown out.)
Uhm, well, of course there's this old “Lost In Thoughts All Alone” on my channel which I made back then in my kind-of-Merli-obsessed-period ( and I still think that AmaLee's English lyrics are superior to the official ENG text), but you instantly notice how much more of a horrible amateur I was back then in comparison to now. :long sigh:
So, that's pretty much where my decision to try the Japanese lyrics out and do a simple instrument-background (for highlighting dear Minus here) came from.
Speaking of her, Stardust Minus is my favorite of yon voicebanks made for the second generation of Synthesizer V. I could listen all day to songs featuring her, though that's not surprising at all as I already enjoy her voice-provider Sawako碎花子 ( youtube.com/channel/UC6CudIVbrPAjOn_0GcaOVPg ) a lot.
Artwork was entirely created with Autodesk Sketchbook on my Samsung--- and please do NOT remind me, that the picture ate tooooooooo much time for somebody who hoped to be faster when not drawing with a computer-mouse. Q.Q These days, apparently, tinkering some music (including typing lyrics) is much faster for me than sketching + linearting + coloring. :sulkssulkssulks:
On a lighter note, Azura's / Aqua's dress was a welcome challenge which I'd love to repeat one day. (Not too early, though.)
Considering the download downwards a ka the folder containing my lyric-files:
I have – just in case converting with UtaFormatix went wrong – put both SynthV file-types into it, because I really lacked the motivation to check, if the converted .s5p (Gen1 SynthV) functions properly. ( After the drawing-process consumed much more time than I had planned, please excuse some laziness. T^T )
Anyways, as explained, you get next to the regular .vsqx for JPN Vocaloid-voicebanks the original .svp meant for CN SynthV-singers next to that oldschool-works-for-all-SVversions-thing. (Why did they even change the file-type for Gen2, seriously? :rants: When Studio does open .s5p-files, nonetheless, there is no to-me-logical sense in doing so.)
P.S. Maybe I'll upload the drawing to DeviantArt in the next days. Should that happen, I add a link.

Complaining aside, my arrangement is technically based on what Hootie And The Blowfish had produced, though I couldn't resist to put in the edited lyrics made by Post Malone plus the nice Ecruteak City tunes which miraculously fit in as if they were meant to be there.
For my colleagues from Harvest Lunatone ( deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone ): Yepp, this coverart for my remix is the reason why I made a NPC-application for Adelina's brother. Though I was told ages ago, that the written monthly texts do strictly speaking not count for HL's lore, I found it nevertheless more appropriate to give the little boy finally an app.
:coughcough: Uhm, I indeed reused Hendrik's lineart (though with another color plus edited details) for yond application – to save some time. However, the whole coloring process was done separately, so please do not behead me.
Muh, I must say, once the VSTs were added to the .WAV-files, it instantly became a bit annoying how dominant Adelina's voice (Aoki Lapis) is in comparison to Hendrik (Fukase Soft / Normal). Surely I could have picked the more aggressive version of the male voicebank, but that would – at least partly – miss the point of a gentle child like this one.
Peeerhaps I'll let Hendrik sing once more in the future to get a better hang of the voicebank-setting I picked, but at the moment there's another (not-HL-related) project at 75% open, for which I am burning to get it eventually complete. I'll give you two hints: SynthV and Purple.

-》Well, that's what at least happened to me, when I joined the UTAU-reddit and was greeted by a Demo Reel of Arachne (the English version named -Tarantula- ).
Immediately curious, I researched the UTAUloid and learned there were two Japanese versions as well. And guess what happened... ^.^"
Yeah, you can say I fell head over heels for the gentle JPN voicebank Arachne -Recluse- (and found -Scorpion- of course quite fascinating [despite not liking a few odd tunes the demonstrations of this one had]). An adult, feminine voice such as these .OTOs' got is exactly my cup of tea.
Also, I simply ADORE Arachne as a drawn character. So cute and pink-purple-blueish is hitting a nerve of mine. /x3c
-》Hence, dear creator of Arachne, please forgive me for being unable to decide, which official outfit of to pick for her when it was time to make my remixe's cover-art. I love both -Scorpion- and -Recluse- designs, thus I combined them in the end. (BUT I got a good excuse for mixing the outfits, I promise.)
Don't know if listeners can hear the subtle difference, but even though the mainvoice here IS Arachne's gentler .OTO, in fact the stronger version backs it all the time up a ka plays nonstop along.
(Originally I wanted to switch them here and there out in Magix Music Maker, but then stayed with both .WAVs being on as they gave a pretty nice sound together once -Scorpion- was put a tad quieter.)
Uhm, by the way, I have zero idea, why some sung tunes at the early part of my arrangement are swallowed - or which part of the software (UTAUs installation of the .OTO or the UST-import) are to blame.
-》I'm not used to tinkering with UTAU, hence really didn't feel like analyzing the error after the program took ages to export both .WAV-files. I was just glad to finally have my songstress ready to finish the remix.
Speaking of which, the idea to merely tinker an own Vocaloid-cover of "Yume To Hazakura" had been for a longer while in my head. But after finding Arachne ( and eventually making UTAU function correctly :coughcough: ), I found it more appropriate to make a full remix.
P.S.1. I swear I hate GIMP at times. The stupid software had sometime around the evening / right in the coloring-process of my Arachne-fanart randomly decided to forget my progress of Sunday, thus I had to work twice on some purple / pink sections. x'{ The background for the remix-cover itself also gave me a nice chunk of headache until it was finished. ( PLEASE do not ask me, how much time I invested in the character-drawing. It's embarrassing to count the hours; not only because I'm in general as slow as a slug. Q.Q )
P.S.2. Now go and support Arachne's creator! (Who is indeed called General Nuisance.)

Ah, remember how I mentioned in yon last video, that Chinese voicebanks are troublesome to work with when they are supposed to sing in other languages? Well, screw this line, because Synthesizer V gives them MUCH more space than Vocaloid does.
( Especially convenient is, that SynthV's CN voices know what “L” is, because Vocaloid's Japanese characters drive me at times crazy / nuts with their stubborn “R” being used for aforesaid letter. Plus, writing each time “4” in the JPN phonetics is even worse. :grumbles: )
-》Following mention VB-praise, here we have Cangqiong giving a solid performance next to the Append Dark a ka Japanese voicebank of Hatsune Miku. (And before anybody raises pitchforks: I DID have in mind to give the girls separate parts to sing, but after recognizing how well they sound in combination, mentioned plan was abandoned. No apologies.)
The lineart was drawn with Autodesk Sketchbook ( Basic Pen – which really looks like I want a 'Bleistift' to be emulated :happily hugs the app: ) and my Dimples Excel stylus--- Aye, I'm going to gush over the app for a little while longer. -^-”
That's the price to pay as nobody ever deigned to tell me “There's an alternative to drawing with a PC-mouse.” (because I can't work with drawing-tablets a ka can't blindly use a pen) or “Cumbersomely cleaning traditional sketches for digital use isn't necessary anymore.” (as I erase more lines plus errors in my sketches than people on the internet can imagine). ;'P
Meh, but seriously, Wacom Tablets are out of my financial reach / nitpicker-mind, so learning about phone-apps being now true software of quality was a blessing I would d e f i n i t e l y have loved to learn as NOT-the-last-nescient-person-on-earth.
P.S. Just due to tinkering this remix a ka especially due to making the VSQX plus S5P, the lyrics got more or less burned into my head. If I had to learn nowadays a song just as good old school-times often enough insisted on, the task surely wouldn't have been completed so easily. ^_^”

Yepp, this remix here got Gibberish-Japanese lyrics instead of the original's English text or the proper(?) JPN translation.
-》That's because both Stardust / Xingchen from Vocaloid and her Medium⁵-sister Cangqiong from Synthesizer V are Chinese voicebanks; and we all know how generally inconvenient other languages are for these characters. x'3c (Albeit I joyfully recognized more vocal flexibility when it comes to SynthV-songsters.)
But speaking about the sister-cue:
WHY did nobody tell me, that one of my favorite Vocaloid-girls got a family?! x.X" Not to forget, that mentioned software exists, to begin with?
After listening to a few songs on YouTube as well as Bilibili, I swear these new characters were recorded plus function on a different level; it's sometimes practically impossible to tell if they're artificial or real people. I especially love MEDIUM⁵ a ka Xingchen and her sisters.
Seriously, I request everybody who reads this comment here to check out Cangqiong's Demo Song "Ripples"; it's so-to-speak the track-in-charge for my enlightenment. Also, big recommendation when it comes to Chiyu's Demo “The Wings of Phoenix".
Uh, back to my remix, I couldn't resist to come back to one of my favorite Vocaloid-songs. :cough: Earworm. :cough: Plus, it's so long ago that I tinkered something with this melody, that resisting yon specific urge was eventually impossible.
-》The only qualm I personally have with the track is its pacing; singing along at normal speed HURTS the humane throat. The composer had obviously only voicebanks in mind when setting the 'breaks'.
In case anybody finds the lines of my cover-art unusual for both my digital as well as traditional ways to draw them:
I used for the first time an app (Autodesk Sketchbook) on my phone to create a sketch / lineart. It's also the premiere of my new stylus (Dimples Excel) getting something to do which I dare to show the Internet.
-》With my shaky hands, it was quite a hassle to do the more-or-less clean lines; an auto-correction would seemingly be necessary for me to jump fully into this territory. Apart from that, it was a nice variation to my standard-methods (either drawing solely with the computer-mouse or having a lot to clean when scanning traditional lines).

-》 Being an Ivalice-fangirl since the day almost-teen-me picked up "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" for GBA (which was the game that introduced the Viera-race, mind you, 'cause many falsely believe it would have been XII), I was always curious if we'd ever see official bunbois waltzing around or if we were doomed to live with fan-imaginations only. So, when Yoshi-P and Koji threw the trailer at us, I was naturally squealing in happiness.
( Truth be told, the moment Koji initially made these bunnny-ears with his hands, my mind was rather thinking about something related to the new beast-tribe Loporrit [who are de facto Hummingways] – and when the video started, I would have guessed a Beastmaster-release because of those boots. x3c )
Lazy background of the cover-art is a lazy screenshot-edit because I wanted to post this arrangement as fast as possible. And if you wonder about my drawn character here: This concept is more or less how I plan to Fantasia-edit my good old twink / alt Ayden Bleuet; in order to make a true Viera out of the currently-bunboi-cosplaying Elezen.

Speaking of Vocaloid...
I'm not sure, if this was ever mentioned in my artist-comments (for the younger remixes, at least), but the Voicebank used for my ducky is yon of "Aoki Lapis".
-》Though, you may not necessarily recognize her immediately. My preferred GEN-setting for said software is around -20, which came to be due to Lapis sounding with this pitch a lot like Lulu Yurigasaki from "Yurikuma Arashi". And if you haven't guessed it already, said bear-girl was the character I enjoyed the most plus her voice happened to be my favorite of the show.
(Unfortunately, I have lost the original Vocaloid-setting for 'Lulu' thanks to switching PC -- apparently, Voicebanks demand proper installation instead of copy+paste -- and a-short-while-later, having my harddrive go nuts wasn't helpful, either. Thanks to a Windows-Update, which resulted in the legendary error called "Bad System Config", I was forced to start the digital-moving-process all over again.
-》Here a pro-tip: Make sure your C: actually creates these backup-files a ka savepoints, because mentioned error will otherwise make a recovery impossible no matter what you do.)
Uhm, as for my Midi, I used a Kainé-sheet found on YouTube as well as ripped the Opening-theme from FF IV DS; the rest was tinkered with these amateur-ears of mine, so don't expect too much here.
-》Especially when it comes to quirky-me wishing to include the best part of mentioned FF-theme (which isn't in the ingame-arrangement for a reason I fail to grasp), I hope you can show some mercy. Plus, I suppose my creation isn't really matching the minor- / Moll-parts and rather heavily leans towards major /Dur, albeit that's subconsciously intentional as my head interprets Kainé's theme as a hopeful song.
Last but not least, my initial intent for the cover-picture was to draw Adelina daydreaming -- while having a chibi of Her Inflorescence (the final boss of the third NieR-Alliance-Raid in FFXIV) floating in the background.
-》But you know what...? Screw plans, I wanted to have my ducky cosplaying somebody (a ka this time Kainé) again! And what better excuse is there to use, than Adelina's determination to please her clientage? When a customer (breaking the fourth wall, that would be me) asks her to record some chanting for a song as well as help out with the visuals for said track, of course she's happy to help out plus enjoys the opportunity to try a new costume on.

Why I used a screenshot from FFXIV, you ask?
A) Laziness, B) Kugane is a place perfectly matching the visual I wanted to add in this video and C) the old FFXIV-1.0-character (Noire Luminae) of ours technically comes from Fabul, as that was the server she was created on.
(Who of the devs thought it would be a great idea to merge Fabul and Besaid in order to form – of all things – freaking Balmung? x.x This kitty here was the original main-character of my husband plus mine – and NOT a random RPG-alt, sheesh.)
By the way, moving from PS4(normal) to PC for getting rid of hellish loading-times comes with some graphical issues I could solve thanks to the Radeon-filters, though I don't know if I'm absolutely happy with them.
Sharpness of objects and saturation of colors annoy me at times, but once I'm used to them it might be easier to explicitly adjust the filters to my liking. G-pose in FFXIV was quite a help to figure stuff out, and even though you can't see it in this specific screenshot, hair-textures and skins look with my current settings very smooth ingame.

Looking back at my almost-faux-pas to get kicked from Harvest Lunatone ( deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone ) due to inactivity, I should have preferred finishing my LW-interpretation as well as cleaning / coloring the drawing before hopping into earworm-territory. x'3
Speaking about the picture: Being someone who considers Final-Fantasy-games to be playable books, I enjoy the idea of implementing them in my head-canon for these HL-characters of mine. While Adelina (despite her being no gamer) would be interested into FF-tracks due to both her passion for music as well as business-purposes, Meline here would enjoy reading the adventurous / romantic stories at the most. Thus – because my ducky already had some FF-attention – I decided to highlight the Beautifly-Gijinka this time.
By the way, though the Whale isn't an animal but a ship, I picked the former concept for carrying the chibi-depiction of Cecil and Rosa around, since it looks simply cuter. (Can't decide whether or not the three of them are merely Meline's imagination; her ability to use Psychic doesn't necessarily mean she can project stuff with it.)
Last but not least... Dang, I really want to buy the LW-mount in FFXIV, but even without knowing its price at the moment, I'm aware this thing will eat LOTS of money, so my inner nitpicker says “NOPE.” very confidently. x~x
Though, it's nice the devs made it an eight-men-bus. Apart from Noctis' Regalia (four people), we had only regular two-seaters so far.

I definitely SUCK in adding some drums on my own (especially when the .mid goes with a tempo my old Magix Music Maker loves to display anywise). And better don't ask me, how often I switched my virtual instruments around plus changed the strength of each layer / song-section; this ate much more time than I even want to admit. -.-”
Anyways, even though I willingly didn't use any proper lyrics due to not knowing what the real text of the Teaser Trailer might be (:cough: German ears can't grasp whispered English :cough:), I wanted to add some other humane sounds than these standard-choirs my remixes usually end up with.
Hence: This amateur's beloved Xingchen / Stardust enjoys a comeback on the channel. \o/ Said Voicebank – even though its Chinese – is one of my absolute favorites Vocaloid has to offer.
Last but not least, for the cover-art I went again with this lovely chibi-format featured in DAL Spirit Pledge. Drawing 100% with a computer-mouse unfortunately consumes even in such plain style a few hours (lineart on real paper needs too much cleaning in scanned form), yet the result is worth the effort when I aim for this sterile optic.

I'm not yet decided wether I should buy AOM or not, because there won't be the nice story-additions from SOM / a playable heroine next to the hero Sumo / Duke, but the soundtrack is already chilling in my music-folder - which should be obvious after my random reddit-post. x'3 ( reddit.com/user/MelodyCrystel/comments/kpiy1j/random_thought_i_adore_the_adventures_of_mana/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share )
Listening to these updated melodies caused me to get my lazy butt up, as you can see, though it was more like a final drop making the barrel bubble over. Actually, the idea to remix some songs from the Mana-games I played comes up every now and then. Hooowever...
'Of course' my favorite title a ka the GBA-exemplar doesn't rely on the Sappy-engine. (And for all who do not know: Extracting Midis from every other engine seems nearly impossible because people haven't figured out how to do so. "The Minish Cap" is the only troublesome game of which I know a work-around-method exists - tried it myself with gba2midi.exe - and even the according program cannot do something with "Sword Of Mana".)
Welp, you people who read my comments know the drill: If I cannot rip an original Midi, I search for alternatives because starting from zero is something amateur-me dislikes. U.U
Thanks to Japanese keywords I found a solid base, then grabbed an arrangement from vgmusic (to spice things up with additional sounds the composer had added) and finally took the background-tones both versions were missing from the DS-game "Children Of Mana". I tinkered with these three files the remix you can now listen to - and in case you want to have my Midi-edit, the download's in the usual information-section.
My cover-picture, by the way, has the (for the series mandatory) Mana Tree included, though the real headache here was caused by choosing which girl I wanted to depict. Being a SOM-fan, I have a weakness for its adventurous heroine (who seems to be called Elena by some fans), though I also find AOM's Fuju very pretty (notwithstanding the damsel-in-distress-vibe this female maincharacter has to me; in slightly similar manner to Tess from "Children Of Mana").
Unable to decide, my solution for the obstacle was mixing these two characters as good as possible--- Not sure if that's visible enough when especially the hair-color distracts a lot from -shape, to be honest... The brunette playable character dominates at least in my head which kind of heroine comes to mind when thinking of the story.
At last a little funfact. The .mp3-file of mine has the following name thanks to “/” being excluded from allowed symbols while the Japanese “:” functions:
Sword : Children : Adventures Of Mana - Rising Sun

Anyways, this song is one of my favorite tracks from the soundtrack of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers, though I never considered remixing the piece due to its melancholic nature. In general, I avoid such melodies as my mood is quite influencable by music; the bare imagination how tinkering an arrangement like this might affect me kept this amateur here from toying with the idea.
However, personal life-circumstances changed in the last days, whereby a sad song can't add more gloom to the atmosphere. As I had roughly mentioned in the artist-comment of my youngest page over at Archiveofourown.org a ka in 'Now I Know The Truth', things don't look well for my family. (The lacking will for creativity I was talking about is still a thing; creating this here was very much enforced.)
Optimists would say "Having to return a few thousand bugs to the insurance isn't the end of the world", yet for us it's a lot and we're not nearly flexible enough to take this situation well. (Not to forget, it's my fault that we were back then in 2015 taking their offered financial support. My husband rightfully didn't trust the deal, while I was convinced everything would be fine.)
Therefore, if my accounts on Archive, DeviantArt, reddit and YouTube come ever in the future to an entire still-stand, mentioned situation will be the reason for it. This arrangement here shouldn't be seen as an official Farewell unless said case actually happens, but I want to make sure, that those people who read my comments aren't left in the dark.
One last thing, about cover-picture. I usually can't bring myself to draw sad people, because it hurts looking at these characters all the time while I sketch / color them, so I settled for depicting my OC Adelina from Harvest Lunatone ( deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone ) in a relaxed mood. (Plus, while others might find it emotionally supportive to express their feelings with gloomy pictures, for me it was always much more helpful to seek comfort in happy / cuddly scenes.)

As usually, my lack of tempo while drawing is the reason for this remix being out so lately, albeit you can blame my other hobbies as well for the delay. (But at least I was this time so smart to draw first before tinkering the music, whereby you get a fresh-fresh arrangement which has only waited for me to type this comment down before being released.)
If you find the chibi-style of my Adelina here somehow familiar: Hello fellow Spirit Pledge player! o/ Since the day I had picked up the Traditional-Chinese-version of the app last year, I fell in love with the way the game depicts the dateable girls on the map, hence my adoration for that style finally coerced me to roll with it. Though, I'm kind of disappointed, how little love SINoALICE gets from the sheet-community... The Intro is admittedly easy to come by, but try finding anything else and you most likely won't stumble at least over the only other theme (Maze) I found in shape of a Midi. Means: The third track here in the medley was 100% made with my own uneducated ears; sorry for that. ! Spoiler-Screenshot appears around 00:17, so don't say I haven't warned you. !
Aaanyways... Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy the Gpose-feature...? The only thing the devs should still add to that thing would be the possibility to let us pick expressions for the NPCs, though I'm glad we can at least make them 'talk' in three different ways. (And three small brush-strokes in Gimp are enough to smooth the expression a tad more out to appear less stoic.)
I was tempted to draw our favorite kitty for my remix, won't lie here, but time is never on my side when I want to do stuff quick. And as there's already an arrangement waiting for me to get my lazy butt up a ka finish the cover-art which already exists in sketch-shape, thus the track unfortunately has to function with 'just' a screenshot of G'raha Tia.
But dang, I really love the clothes. If they don't match this adorkable guy, then I have no idea what else would. The small edit of the hair also looks great (or should I say “cute”?), hence I'm again fangirling like crazy over him. x3

So, that being said...
Fiiinaaallyyy, we got the final part of the current expansion, Shadowbringers, after Corvid-19 caused a delay of more than 2 months! I won't say it wasn't worth to wait for the mainstory-quests, but - gosh dang this - I can't believe such a long time stood between us and the end of the Exarch's journey.
Or, should I say, the beginning of a new journey...? The outlook for 5.4 sounds promising enough, I suppose.
Extra big plus: Seeing you-know-which-Ascian-I-mean with a short yet important cameo in 5.3's trial was almost even better than learning right before mentioned fight, that he truly had recognized our character as one of his friends.
-If you haven't read the official text "Through His Eyes" ( na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/special/tales_from_the_shadows ), guess what you should do.
Also, with G'raha being the first really important male Miqo'te-NPC in ARR, it feels so long ago that my husband and I did around Christmas 2015 the Crystal Tower raid for the first time. Who would have thought, that this kitty wasn't done with sneaking his way into our hearts, huh...
-You know, 24-people-roulette wasn't back then a thing, which is why the experience and character were very special to us. We can kinda grasp now, palpable, what a long road it has been from our humble start at the beginning of Heavensward up to this very day.
As everything is now written down, let's have some fun with G'raha in the Trust while the Hype is still fresh! Have a good day and maybe I see you on Shiva. Lali-ho! o/
Though, I'll have to get used to the changed brand-name a ka “Story of Seasons” when typing down the full name of the Switch's remake. However, maybe now some specific people will finally realize to watch out for publisher Marvelous instead of Natsume.
Hm, if you guys understand German, I recommend you go to M00sician's LP-channel and watch him early-test the game to get an extra load of hype: youtube.com/c/m00sicianLP/featured
Uhm, also, I had this arrangement for Harvest Lunatone ( deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone ) since a long while ready, but the cover-art was troublesome to complete as not only my usual hobby-distractions were in the way (playing FFXIV with my dearest alt, caring each day a little bit for my Animal Crossing New Horizons island and reading fanfictions). Our PC urgently needed a new C: including a Windows-upgrade, hence I was a few days without access to GIMP as well as my file with the slightly edited lineart-scan.
And YES, with the for-me-very-sudden release of SINoALICE in the West (means: my preregistration ringed in the morning and is to blame for even more tardiness of mine), I was yesterday too much occupied with checking Yoko Taro's fairytale-game out.
However, I suppose the palm-tree is a dead giveaway, but yepp, AC NH was a huuuge influence when I decided on what exactly to draw for the medley. Not, that one couldn't fish in a HM / SoS as well, but at the moment I think everybody thinks at first about Animal Crossing when the two words 'game' and 'fishing' fall.
To be honest, I'm a tad disappointed about Adelina's proportions not entirely matching those from “A Wonderful Life”-artworks like I had intended to, but on the other hand it nevertheless saves my time to draw lines with a traditional pencil instead of a software.
Also, can I mention, that this is the first picture of her mount-Pokémon Midgard being no longer a Dratini but a Dragonair? :3 Man, it's ages ago that I have drawn one of these; as a child, I was obsessed with this serpent-dragon. ( Sheesh, I still need to draw a new icon for him in the Animal Tracker... x'o )

(You think I'd do Coil or Alexander with another character willingly? Nope, surely not, since I dislike begging for unsync runs / waiting for unhandy ques. x3 Despite my Tataru-twin being done with 5.0, she has no clue what these two raids even are.)
Although I normally avoid rewatching scenes with my alts for the sake of saving time, sometimes I lose a bit of this resolve and cave to beholding two or three moments once more. Which means: As expected, Omega's storyline is a great weakness of mine--- I was beholding everything involving Midgardsormr in both Delta- and Sigmascape. :sigh: (I'm even more fangirlish-obsessed with this dragon here than I already am with a specific red-haired cat-boy.)
But hey, at least I used this opportunity to record a little bit more of Noire's adventures. Plus: Since I never got my awfully lazy butt up to save this scene here with my Maincharacter, it was finally time to put one of my favorite "side"-quests onto my YouTube-account. (Who the hell thought, it would be great to put Omega into optional content? What a waste!)
Uh, actually, I HAVE for a long time toyed around with the idea to make a remix of the track “Another Moon” from FFIV, but I never really felt like doing so. (To have Ascian Elidibus muttering stuff on the moon was quite tempting each time it happened, yet the final kick did never occur.)
However, when I saw several Lalafell wearing the bunny-suit we got this year for Easter, I was heavily reminded of the Hummingway race. And that's practically the only reason why this remix here came into existence. ^_^”
To go not only with a single track, since FFIV (GBA) as the first main-FF I ever touched is still very dear to me, I settled also for “The Lunarians” and “Giant's Dungeon” to round things a little bit up.
My cover-art is this time a (lazy) screenshot-edit; I wanted to work with the exact moon-landscape from FFXIV, hence no self-drawn picture today.

Anyways, I wanted to upload the remix to Harvest Lunatone ( deviantart.com/harvest-lunatone ) due to regarding the activity-requirements as well as my wish to share this piece of music with the group – like I had done before in terms of Marnie's track – YET there was something in the way. I don't have a male character! But I definitely wanted to use a boy / man, as I'm not so much into a-girl-cosplays-a-boy, you see? Additionally, there was another catch.
I could have taken the easy route. However... Using NPCs in drawings for HL is something that isn't all too high in my list of favorite possibilities. (Adelina's brother, who appeared in a Library Prompt, has so far no NPC-app, anyways.) Therefore, another group-member a ka their character had to be found.
When I asked in the general group-comments, if somebody was willing to let me borrow their character, OutroIntroZoom ( deviantart.com/outrointrozoom ) quickly responded with the allowance to use their Elijah Sinclair.
Drawing the Lycanroc-Gijinka was actually much more fun than I would have expected--- It's a question of his physique, you know. I'm not good in doing muscular people from scratch. But fortunately, he's build very much like the male Highlanders from FFXIV, hence I had a reference with exact the kind of pose I was looking for. ( Zero idea how much time I would have otherwise wasted with trying to get Elijah properly on that random car. x3 )
Uhm, yeah, that wraps all important things about the remix-and-picture-creation up, I guess. Although... I chose the spot for the little photo-shoot (namely the Snorunt Romp trail on Snowfall Inlet) mostly because it's the same area I had picked for Adelina's Marnie-cosplay. Could also have picked Bermite Basin, but eh. Plus, Elijah would originally have taken a seat on the snow or ground, if Google hadn't thrown a winter-photo at me which changed my mind.
