EU5 Compared to Victoria 3, EU4, CK3 and other Paradox Games | Europa Universalis 5 Impressions Tarkusarkusar 2025-10-07 | EU5 in early access has been quite an experience so far. As an avid Victoria 3 and CK3 player, it's been a pretty unique experience for sure. That being said, I have played EU4, simply not as extensively as the other games, and as such, the game did feel somewhat familiar.EU5, to me, feels like a refined version of EU4, with some of the DNA of Victoria 3 spliced in. There're subtle influences from other titles too, and in this video, I'll be going over all of that to explain what EU5 is like for people that aren't necessarily deeply engrossed in the EU5 culture.I got early access about 2 weeks ago, and I didn't really follow any Tinto Talks or any other content creators that were talking about the game (well, I followed them, I just didn't watch the EU5 stuff.) It brings content for nations like Austria, Serbia, and the Ottomans, and I'd say it delivers quite well on those fronts. How to Get and Use COMMAND ECONOMY as Norway - Victoria 3 GIGACHAD GUIDE Tarkusarkusar 2025-08-02 | Norway is one of just 4 personal unions in Victoria 3, making it one of the most unique starts, just by virtue of that alone, however, it also is a nation with a ton of state traits, some cool companies, and an amazing set of starting laws.When I set out to play Norway, I was intending to leverage those things to have an enjoyable, unique playthrough, however, that just wasn't enough for me. Instead, I decided to make it even more unique, by creating the ultimate Command Economy, and along the way, finding ways to make getting Command Economy a little easier.In this video, I'll be playing as Norway, and building up a strong economy, as the junior member of a personal union with Sweden. Along the way we'll be creating a globe-spanning empire, and getting the world's great powers to invest in us, after which we'll turn our backs on the world, and nationalize it all, to reap the rewards. Africa is the main source of slaves for Europe and the New World, so if Haiti can get there first, the whole institution of slavery could be cut down, and destroyed.To pay for the cost of this march against the abomination of slavery, Haiti will reclaim her place as the pearl of the Antilles, and sell luxury coffee to the world. Charters of Commerce is MASTERFULLY DONE | Victoria 3 Charters of Commerce DLC GIGACHAD Review Tarkusarkusar 2025-06-18 | The newest Victoria 3 DLC, Charters of Commerce, accompanied by the 1.9 Patch, is a revolutionary addition to Victoria 3 in all the right ways. The world market and treaties and even the small things are so well done.Victoria 3 has often been troubled with poor quality DLCs, as demonstrated by the steam reviews of pretty much all the DLCs. In Victoria 3's world, it is the exception to have a good DLC, and Charters of Commerce is truly exceptional in that it's a DLC which I can say is just a good thing for the game. Every time a DLC has come out, there's been some kind of caveat, or reason why not all that glitters is gold.There is no such caveat here. CK3s Hard Mode SUCKS | Why? | Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD Essay Tarkusarkusar 2025-06-13 | Alright, so I've played quite a bit of Crusader Kings 3's Very Hard mode now and I gotta say, it's just not up to snuff. There's something critically wrong about the way CK3's gameplay is modified by very hard mode, in the sense that the way the AI plays doesn't really make the game more fun.It's factually correct that the AI is more difficult to handle on Very Hard mode, but not in a satisfying way. More in a way that just makes the game not allow as much creativity. Basically, it's unsatisfying and I think that it should be completely changed in terms of its philosophy. It's just not the right direction for CK3 in my opinion.Regardless, enjoy the yap session, and consider your own critiques for the difficulty of CK3. Restoring the GOKTURK EMPIRE - Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD STORY Tarkusarkusar 2025-05-26 | In the Steppes, there was once a united Turkic Khaganate. It was called the Gokturk Empire, The Empire of the Celestial Turks, and it was truly glorious. In this Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD STORY we'll be endeavouring to accomplish the resurrection of this empire. Such a task might seem impossible, but I've got two tools I can use to help me out a bit.First, I've got @LemonCake101 who will be my blood brother. We will help each other achieve great things, and become the greatest Steppe lords we can be. Lemon Cake will be playing a companion character to my character (or am I a companion to him?? Hard to say) so that both of us can achieve our goals more easily.Secondly, I've got a mod, freshly released on the Steam Workshop along with this video: The Gokturk Flavor mod. It's a mod I put together over the course of a couple weeks (hence why I haven't uploaded in 2 weeks) and it's a little flavor pack that gives some extra options for the Turks on the map. Escaping the NORMAN CONQUEST in NEW ENGLAND - Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD Story Tarkusarkusar 2025-05-12 | The Normans, under William the Conqueror are coming, and they cannot be stopped. Normally, Hereward the Wake acts as a sort of bastion of resistance for the Saxons, but rather than that, we'll be simply escaping the island, and heading out to new England.Of course, we will one day return, but before that day, the Saxons will have to learn how to live on the Steppes, and make of their limited resources a land worth living in. At least until they can return to England.With how long these New Englander Saxons might spend overseas, will they even be the same people by the time they get back home? Or will they be invaders, from a totally foreign place? Khans of The Steppe is Flawed | Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD Rant Tarkusarkusar 2025-05-03 | I've got no choice but to update my review Paradox. Khans of the Steppe is Basically Flawless | Crusader Kings 3 GIGACHAD Review Tarkusarkusar 2025-04-28 | It's here! The Khans of the Steppe DLC has been highly anticipated, and it's a solid piece of work. It has delivered on its promises, in my opinion, and although it has a few missteps here and there, as will happen with pretty much any DLC, it's got a massive wealth of content, in the form of dynamic gameplay on the Steppes.Most of my critiques for this DLC, shown in this review, are preferences. For example, I'd have preferred a harsher Steppe, with weather effects being more destructive, and I'd have preferred a more aggressive AI, but those things are much more of a "it would suit me in particular" type of thing than a real flaw with the DLC.This review does its best to come at the DLC with the perspective of the average player, and in that perspective, and even in my own GIGACHAD GAMER perspective, Khans of the Steppe is amazing.
