Fitting Video Game OST Swaps: Castlevania & Twisted Metal PushBlock 2023-03-23 | Ever be playing a game when you think: "hmm...yunno this other game's soundtrack would go really well here"?If so, we have something in common, so I took the liberty of putting together a swap of two seemingly unrelated video games' OSTs. The results I find to be better than expected.Sorry for the lack of SFX on the SOTN footage. When I tried recording footage using the xbox live arcade version I own, I found that it does not let you adjust SFX and Music separately. Twisted Metal footage is taken from original hardware running my childhood copy outputting S video to an HDMI converter. (I also wanted to test that new setup, I think it looks pretty good).I have a few other OST swaps that come to mind if you guys liked this idea. Cheat codes, local multiplayer, games that were actually finished, but where it truly excelled is in the area of Sports Games.Developed by Midway, who was waist-deep deep in Mortal Kombat at this point, Slugfest 20-04 is without a doubt the best Baseball game ever made, and probably the best sports game in general depending on what you count as "sports".Hundreds of lines of funny and informative commentary, tons of hilarious cheat codes that let you play as big headed horses against killer clowns in atlantis, a fun and engrossing turbo system that let you jump kick the third basemen while on fire,, this game has it all.Here are just some of the highlights from a little less than 2 hours of me plahying it blind.
