It feels so good to get this video out of my system, seriously. I've wanted to vid this song for a few months now, I first got inspired for it after The Walking Dead finale. But then things came up, you know. Later, two of my fave vidders made a collab to this song, which was a deal breaker because how do I compete with that epicness! And somehow the idea of mixing the two versions of the song felt too good not to try.

Secondly, I would like to dedicate this to one of the best vidders out there, Shainira. I've wanted to do this for so long but the ideas were leaving me as fast as they came. This is the first video I ever wanted to remake. Wanted it for years and years, as time passed and my vidding style evolved I wasn't as happy about it as in the beginning and wanted only the best for Carl of course.

I was waist deep in another project (that will never see the light of day) when I randomly dug this up again, 90% finished. And now here it is. Our angry lil' teddy bear son all HD and polished up.

Cassaravi 2021-06-07 | 2021 marked the return of my love for... grey's anatomy! 17x09 made my creative juices flow in a way they haven't in years, the stunning dream-like cinematography coupled with a storyline i loved (and everyone else hated - what else is new?) and this is the result. i'm immensely proud of this wild beast, it tested my limits and helped me flourish as a creator.

So this may seem totally random, that's because it is pretty much. And then if you looked at the time frame at the end, you could ask the completely justified: 'what the fuck.'

But first things first! This is for Zoé, who bid on me in the 2016 V4AC. It was kind of a disaster in the end, true, but the bidding was fun and obligation is obligation. Even if it's 1,5y later... :D I know you love Morgana, so hope you'll enjoy this at least a bit, despite how unimpressive it is. Even if just for sentimental reasons. ^^

Now... phew... This project has been with me for what feels like forever. I started it back in January 2016 (yup i know who ever finishes things that are 2 years old I've clearly gone insane) as my entry for the 3rd round of TYS. Why Morgana? Well, at the time I had just bought some shiny new DVDs, so I was quite excited to rip them myself and have this show in decent quality, at least. And Morgana was the first character I ever vidded here, pure sentiment. In the end things happened, I didn't submit anything for the contest, and this went to die.

For some inexplicable reason, I remembered about it 11 months ago, on the New Year's Eve, and decided to continue editing it that evening. I thought that it could be a good thing to stick to for V4AC. I made some progress but then watched the preview and was like 'lol nah scrape that.'

And we find ourselves 2 days ago, where I also just randomly rewatched that unfinished thing and went... hmm... I actually kinda like it. So yesterday I was having a horrible day and just... finished it. :D It's definitely not my best, it's pretty random, my dvd driver's broken so I could only use the clips I'd already ripped earlier, the ending is a joke because I never even thought that far ahead, but... it's there. It's done, after 2 years. Despite the vidding block that's been holding me tight basically all year.

The secret to my lack of activity here? I just don't get inspired by shows anymore. I barely watch anything these days, but even when I do, it's not with passion like it used to be. Maybe I've just watched so many shows already I'm completely burned out.

Yeah, excuses, excuses... The thing is, will I upload here again? I really want to, but I'm just not sure anymore. But for now, hope you enjoy this very basic content, if anyone still remembers this channel. xD

Okay freaking out set aside, this is actually me. This 4-minute video was actually me.

What can I say... this show! I did not expect to like it so much, let alone fall in love with it. It's just so good, smart, funny (I didn't expect it to be funny at all, and it's actually hilarious?? like?? how??) and overall amazing. 10/10 recommend.

And then, these two... Well, they are a couple of wonderfully written and acted characters. I don't know where this idea came from exactly. But it gave me the opportunity to do something I've wanted to do for a long time.

This is a kind of all-in-one video: a bit of character studies, a bit of platonic relationship study and then, in the end, romantic. I wanted to cover their dynamic fully. So that the romance, which only starts around 3 minutes into the video, feels like a natural progression, something organic and based on the things that came first.

When I showed some scenes from this show to my roommate, she drew a conclusion that I really liked. She said that there's a lot of love in this show but it's not the "sex on the table kind of love," it's the more mature kind of love that comes from friendship and life experience. And I think she nailed it. I hope that, whoever actually decided to watch it and stick til the end, will have the same impression. :)

Also, I've made it a tiny bit AU in a way, basically what would happen if s3 went in a different direction with these and gave us more than these as the comic relief. I know she meant that, like, come on. We all know. :'D

This project gave me so much joy. I really poured my heart and soul into it. I haven't edited something like this in a long long time. Everytime I opened the project, I loved it more. And even when I was angry with it, couldn't stay angry for long, and ended up loving it again. It was truly magical.

Honestly, I could not be happier with the result. My dream collab, with my dream team. Couldn't have happened without a few technical issues and misunderstandings (again, so sorry for those on my part) but we made it.

I've been tempted to vid this song ever since I heard it in Adjectival's wonderful Clexa video but never had anything to vid it with. But then I watched this brilliant show about 3 weeks ago and it was the first thing I had to do.

That being said, I regretted it very shortly after. I feared this song from the beginning and about halfway through I realised I do not have what it takes to vid it. And I was ready to quit. I did quit, in fact. But then Anja was having none of it and didn't allow me to do that, and that's the only reason we are here today. xD

I still don't think I did a particularly good job here but at least the song didn't win, not entirely. This video is done because I'm done with it. It's out there. Let it soar. lol

Yeah... this just happened. Well, not on its own. I totally and fully blame Alex aka DreamingOfDestiny for dragging me into the fandom with her gorgeous vids.

It's honestly just a "thanks for being a great friend" gift, really. But mainly I just really appreciate all our detailed talks about the show, my otp and the characters. Especially otp though. They are everything. You'll always be my fellow L&S shipper #1. :D

As for the video... It was pretty much a coincidence when it began. I got randomly inspired for the song on American Culture class on Thursday, and I thought... Banshee? xD Then forgot about it and just randomly remembered again on Saturday. I even named the project "maybe but probs not" and literally didn;t say a word to anyone about it, that's how much I believed it would become a thing. And here we are, 4 days later, it's a thing. ;p

I vidded the whole song without any cuts for the first time since February 2012. This is a milestone for me.

You've just got to appreciate the sick irony I put in this vid. Just... appreciate it.

It was initially meant to be an appreciation for the gorgeous cinematography and camerawork in the show. And along the way it became sort of a general tribute to the different sides of this brilliant show: the cinematography, the badassery and the heartbreak.

My first own video in 2 months. Woah. I'm deeply ashamed, this went too far. But anyway!

CLEXA. Who knew, considering I made my last shippy video almost 2 years ago. :D It's not just any ship though. These two, I swear.

I've wanted to vid them for some time now, even had the song already. But then 3x07 happened, and this song happened and I was in the bus... that's where I have almost all vidding ideas. And BAM. On friday already I started the video, dropped it and picked it up again on Saturday. Almost dropped it again but thanks to some encouragement I didn't. And then Sunday came and I made this whole video lol.

There are two glitches at 0:21 and 0:22, I have no idea where those little zoom-ins came from. They weren;t in the project. -.-
Also, this is a new colouring I made. And I even think it doesn't look crappy?? Which is an achievement lol.

Aand tomorrow at uni I'll probably pay for spending my whole weekend doing this instead of studying. I fucked myself pretty well there, so... yeah.

First of all, I'm sorry for being so inactive lately, not answering comments, etc. I've been having health issues lately, been in the hospital for a while now. Unfortunately, I don't know when it'll be over as my situation became more complicated after an unsuccessful procedure. But I'm thinking about you, guys, and I hope to be back asap. Yesterday I hit 2.8k subscribers and it made me so happy. Thank you for being the light at the end of the dark tunnel. :)

Also today is my 4th anniversary on Youtube. Time flew so fast. Woah.

I hope you didn't see it coming, and I hope it's everything you wanted. Gave it my best, anyway. Wasn't sure whether I had it in me to actually transfer this idea onto the screen but... For you, I had to. Because I knew nothing would make you happier.

I've has this idea for a few months now but it seemed so abstract. I knew I wanted to do it but didn't really see myself actually doing it. xD But in October the song finally came to me in a revelation (October 17th, to be precise, that's when I created the project file and cut the song).

But, as you know, we're both the type to wait until the very last moment with everything. xD I started rewatching s1 the day before Christmas Eve. The first attempts at editing the video occurred on... December 26th. :D And the rest is history. The plan was to finish before s3 premieres, and it was achieved. :D

I'm so lucky and grateful to have a friend like you. A friend who never complains about my (incredibly long) rants, always is there for me. A pink fluffy unicorn! Not everyone gets to be friends with those hahah.

I find it hard to even express how much I love this show and how it blew me away with season 2! It stepped up its game and was on a completely different level than anything else. Every episode was better than the previous one: it was fantastic, it was insane, it was heartwrenching and yet somehow strangely uplifting. Long story short: definitely the best thing I've watched this year, and probably ever.

That being said, I just had to make this video. It was probably not a very smart choice when it comes to my odds in the contest but I had to. It has completely taken over my life in the past 2 months (especially the last month, 2x07 killed me and then 2x08 killed me again but in a different way). This small tribute was what I needed to make very much.

Long time no see! This project took me ages but I'm so glad it's done. I've got bored and tired of my action multifandoms recently. This shot at storytelling/au was an opportunity to test myself with things I'm not used to and get out of my comfort zone. I hope it was worth it. ^^

This is my entry for 2nd round of The Hunger Games Competition. The theme was filmography of a chosen actor/actress. Instead of making a typical filmography for Eliza Dushku, I decided to put a twist on the challenge and create a story based on Dollhouse/The Gable 5's storylines. It's kind of a crossover, kind of an au. Idek. xD

How do I even start about this video?

First of all, maybe, I'd like to dedicate it to one of my favourite vidders, Grable424. If you're reading this, I'm in love with your videos, especially the TWD ones. Your Rick&Carl vid is one of the best things I've ever seen, it's been a huge inspiration for me! So thank you for the incredible insight into their relationship and thank you for sharing your talent with all of us, letting us learn from you. :)

Now, to the video itself. It took me almost 2 weeks of day-to-day work. Wanted to give up mutiple times but the song was just too perfect for Carl, who's recently grown to become my favourite character.
I MEAN LOOK AT THAT CUPCAKE. Okay, stay cool Aneta. :D

4x09 was a game-changing episode for me. Something happened, what's never happened to me before while watching TV - I watched that kid struggle and saw myself in him. It was pretty hard to watch because it suddenly felt so personal, especially the scene where he's trying to wake up Rick and he doesn't wake up. I still remember pausing that scene and taking a few moments to prepare myself before playing it again. Since then, I don't even know how many times I watched that episode.

That's how it started, anyway. :D I connected with Carl. He's such a well-written character. I tried to show him in this video as well as I could, show how complex he is and how tragic his life has been so far.

There are definitely many ways to read this video. I can only hope that someone will notice the deeper meaning behind at least some scenes. It's all carefully thought-out. :)

As my leading colour I chose blue, which should be pretty obvious in the video. :D Blue is like the colour of sci fi, I had tons of scenes and I could make like 2 more videos from all the ones I didn't end up using.

I wanted to thank my unicornie Anja, for the support and for the scenes (and for other things too, you know, like all the help with german hw haha). You're the best!

Hey, I'm alive. Really am. Even though I've been terrible at keeping this channel alive recently (and not responding to comments, I hate myself for that). I like to blame college for that. It's a good excuse and while it's true that I don't really have time for anything but studying lately, I also haven't been inspired for anything this past month.

The video, well... It's for a contest, and I tried my best to meet the criteria but also there were some compromises that must've been made in order to not make it look like total crap. Still, I hope I used at least partially similar shots and if not, I tried to stick to similar context.

As for the future, I really hope to make an attempt at a Battlestar Galactica video soon. I'm currently i love with that show, it's my everything.

I'm back! Been too long since I uploaded my last video.

This show, I swear! It'll be the death of me, seriously (still sobbing after 2x13). Maybe some of you remember I did a video a few months ago about one of the characters (link below). I thought season 1 was dark! And I was pretty obsessed with it back in season 1. But season 2 was one CRAZY ride. Woah. I'm still so emotional. If you're looking for a show that would break your heart into pieces, this is it, you've just found it.

That song has been haunting me for days. It's really dark, and as the 2nd season of Graceland was also super dark (as you can see in the video), voilà! This time I made an ensemble video, since all the characters had their hands full in s2.

I just loved the speech that opens my video. I loved the irony of it, because they all went alone and they all lost control.

It's also my first video made on my new laptop! Yay! And I had to switch to SV 12, which is not all that bad. :)

Don't have a lot to say about this one. Made it today, in less than 10 hours so it's very simple. This round's theme in BTV contest was "cry me a river". I did. I did cry a river. It was such a tear jerker.

I love Charlie so much. Beautiful and badass queen. It's heartbreaking to see her so hopeless and broken, but looking at all that she's lost, all the things she had gone through, can't blame her. But the absolute worst moment was when she was forced to kill her first love. That event and all the things that followed, inspired me to vid her tragic story. And cry, cry, cry.

I still can't believe this video actually exists. I had this idea in my head for 6 months, ever since I heard this brilliant song, I knew it was perfect for Allison and that I had to vid it. And somehow I could never motivate myself to really start the project. Until 3x23. Then I knew that it was the perfect time.

Allison's not dead. She'll never be dead because she'll live in our hearts, as the fierce and brilliant girl that she was. And in this video, I really just followed the song which, I believe, is pretty self-explanatory. :)

I would like to dedicate this video to my lovely friend Tiffani! I know your bday's tomorrow but take it as an early gift (and remember the time zones xD). I know that you also grieved after 3x23 so I really hope you like it, and it makes you remember all the badass moments. :D

I can't just vid Teen Wolf forever.

So this is the story of how a TW distraction turned out to be a new obsession basically. ;D I love Graceland! It might not seem any special at first sight but it's really amazing, brilliant dynamic between the characters and unpredictable twists. Deff a recommendation from me. ^^

As for the video itself, not my best and I know that. Also, sorry for the lack of creativity when it comes to song choice - I'll try to do better next time! But this one was just so fitting, couldn't resist even though it is terribly overvided. :D

I really loved Mike's journey in season 1 (can't wait for s2!). And since I'm in the topic of morality lately, writing my presentation about the lust for power covers that really well, I loved this storyline even more. For those who don't know the show and still decided to watch this vid (you're my fave kind of subscribers, you know that?), he's an FBI undercover agent who's forced to do some pretty bad things in order to get the bad guys. Has to become one of them. With this comes the moral ambiguity of this job, which I think is emphasised perfectly by the last quote said by a crime boss he put in jail.

Also, than you so much for 900+ subs! You're the best. ^^

And you're the best Anja, for putting up with my crap and being as always a huge help. ;D

Who saw it coming! Well, I don't think anybody and quite frankly I never thought I'd want to touch this unfinished project, like, ever again because I kind of hated it from the start. But then a miracle (or sth, idk) happened and voila, here it is. :D

I'm baaaack! After almost 2 months of struggling with a vidding crisis, finally, there's a video. Really short one (sorry) but... long enough to show the message.

MY LOVE FOR SCOTT HAS NO BOUNDARIES. That needed to be said in public.
This... is a video from Scott's perspective. He always feels responsible for everyone's safety, always feels guilty that he failed them. This is what, I imagine, could be happening in his head in 3x06 when he tried to (sobs) take his own life. Blaming himself for all the bad things happening, for all the pain, death, suffering. He's such a sweetheart wanting everyone to be happy. And hurting when they're hurt.

Also, this song is just mindblowing. I discovered it by watching a magnificent video by smska1995, which also helped me deal with my shattered emotions after the Sherlock finale.

I've been trying so hard to vid lately and dropping so many projects, just wanted to test myself with something weird to see if I still got it. And I'm quite pleased with the result so I'm uploading to show you that I'm still alive in here. :)

This is an AU pairing. What I wanted to show in the video was... love, hate but mostly unhealthy obsession.
