Thinking Space 100% (Extreme Demon) by HidekiX | Geometry Dash AlexDIRO 2025-10-29 | Alright gamers, here we have my latest completion, beaten on 10/18/2025. I decided to not wait a year to upload all old completions before this one just because it still had some hype behind it so here it is. Due to the fact that this is in my top 10 I decided to make a serious thumbnail for once and I think it tuned out fairly well for my first one in a while. The text could've used more work but oh well.This is a very famous level that I had my eye on ever since Mycrafted beat it but I never went for it back then for some reason. Once considered one of the hardest levels and now merely an extended list demon, which is why I don't care about competitive play anymore. Too much slop on the list pushing out the iconic levels.Anyway I got really unlucky with this and due to the sheer amount of fails I will upload the fail compilation video later because there's a lot of editing required.This is quite a good level, especially if you get lucky on it. I like the idea of getting far every attempt and then playing a fairly well made challenge.The predrop is easy. The buildup at 38% is hard at first due to how awkward the gameplay is, specifically the 41% yellow portal (as well as going up and down right after) and the 46% ship, but it does click eventually and once it does it becomes consistent.The drop is very easy up until the wave.68-100 is the infamous challenge part and I gotta say it's pretty good. 69% really pissed me off, but other than that everything got consistent enough except the 73% frame perfect (which still felt fun to play and was definitely more consistent than the 91 wave) and the 88 + 91 waves which were just straight up luck based. Really evil ending but the click pattern I had made it alright.My enjoyment is low because of my experience but I would recommend this to people who feel like gambling because it's fun to play. I was also kinda rushing it to move on to my next and possibly last big project so not beating it fast after the 98 was a bit annoying. My biggest issue with it was the wave at 32% which was just awful. I'm not sure what caused it but there was an issue with the slope where the wave would bug out at 33% and instead of going on the slope it would fall through the middle it, making the timing different and inconsistent because you never knew which timing you would get so you would have have react in real time. Cold Sweat 100% (Extreme Demon) by para | Geometry Dash AlexDIRO 2025-12-30 | I started Cold Sweat because I wanted to test how fast I can spam/alternate with the sayo device because of the ufo, and it turned out that I found a consistent click pattern for it which didn't require mindless spamming. This level had potential to be good, but oh man is it bad. The ufo to 100 is fine, even though the wave transition is complete garbage because it's almost instant and blind (how creators think this is a good idea I will never know) even if it takes ages to learn and get good at both the ufo and wave. What brings this level into the ground is the first cube. It's so much worse than it looks. At least the section at 20% is somewhat fun but my goodness the first 20% is some of the most boring gameplay I have ever played and it doesn't help that it's super hard so you can't even turn your brain off. I also need to mention that some wave deaths felt unfair. Idk what is up with the part but sometimes you can clip through the d block and die on the platform even though you are not supposed to. It didn't happen enough for it to be a problem but it is still worth mentioning.When I beat it I just felt relief that I don't have to ever play it again. It's just so painful to beat levels like these and nowadays it's hard to care.I know it's been a long wait for this one but I want to actually upload old levels in order of completion so I will keep at it. I could've gone into much more detail and made a better thumbnail but as I said before it's too much work for too little reward. There's no reason to be putting this much effort in a dead channel that was never truly going anywhere to begin with. The whole buildup starting at 29% is awkward, the 47% wave is just awful, and 70-100 is just annoying.There is also a cut at the beginning to show the first few clicks as well cause when switching tabs with shadowplay it shows a black screen for a couple of seconds and I just so happened to beat it the attempt after switching tabs.I'm so bored of this game again and can barely find the motivation to finish uploading these old videos. Finally managed to get the globed mod to work with two player levels. It's not as good as playing with something like parsec in terms of video quality since the icons keep getting desynced and the movement feels unnatural, but in terms of playing this is the best way to do it without delay. This level has a banger song so I'm glad I got to do it. Thanks to Nac for helping me get globed to work. Turns out respawn time (from megahack) needs to be the same for both players otherwise it desyncs the icons even more. The level itself was fine on my part but I think the part Nac did was worse gameplay-wise. The level looks pretty mid but the song carries. The 58-62 ship was questionable and bugged out from time to time but other than that the gameplay is perfect.Song's alright. It's serious at the predrop and postdrop but man I can't take the drop seriously it sounds so goofy.The biggest problem with this level is learning it. I played this a while ago so I'm not sure if it's fixed now but basically whenever I put a startpos far in the level, the game would bug out and I couldn't open the level. This made learning the level very annoying, especially the second half. Video 100% (Extreme Demon) by MaxxoRMeN | Geometry Dash AlexDIRO 2025-09-25 | Posting old videos made me want to actually beat some so here we are, with my most recent completion from just 2 days ago. I wanted to upload this one now while the gameplay's still fresh in my mind so I can talk about it. Will get back to old uploads next time.There is a cut at the end of the white part because I paused and didn't want that in the main video. watch the raw video (link below) if you want to see it.Now then, the idea of this level is truly amazing, and it definitely had the potential to be a 10/10 if it was slightly better made. Song's great (except for the beginning), deco's great, so let's talk about the gameplay:The white part: Hardest part to learn but it does get consistent. Spamming's not really my thing but this one was fine. If anything the deco's a bit hard on the eyes with the flashing but the gameplay itself is well made.The minigame ship: If the figure is in the "video" you play the ship normally, otherwise you go in the background and go back out after the screen flashes. My only issue with it is that the placement of the figure is very "unbalanced". Even with the spawn points memorized, it can be tricky to see sometimes since the figure blends with the background or is just really small. Some videos are very easy, while others are way harder to see. The bubbles ship: I don't like how sometimes you're upside down and sometimes you're straight when going into the bubbles part. I'm talking about the coin route specifically, once you go below the video, it is very hard to see the spikes and you kinda just have to hope you don't die. Now it's not that hard but it could've been better, as the first half (when you go above the video) is very good since you always see the spikes and don't have to guess where you are. It also sucks to practice because you can't put a startpos at it since it will mess up one of the triggers in the second half where the camera becomes locked again. To practice it you have to play from the very start of the minigame, effectively wasting like 2 minutes just to get to it.The orb ship: Skill based ship, satisfying to pull off.The drop: Wave and ship are great, but the dual not so much. 72-73 took me ages to get down, and even then it was still awkward. The robot wave dual is also a problem because of the 74 blue orb. Quite possibly the most on and off click in the entire level. Sometimes one of the icons would randomly die even if I did it perfectly and other times it works.After 74: Everything after the 74 blue orb is fine.Even with its issues it's still a great level that I would highly recommend. I got so many levels to upload from last year and honestly idk if I'll get around to doing so but I'll try.This is a more recent completion, and it's from 2 months ago on 5/2/25. It's a good level but learning it can be a bit of a pain. In fact, most 2.2 levels are. It's not really the level's fault, but it makes playing these newer levels too much of a hassle due to the startpos camera issues when 2.2 effects are used. Very annoying to get them placed right but I pulled through with this one since it was on the easier side.Other than the effects, there's one other thing that I didn't think was necessary and that is putting rng parts in a gd level. That's stupid since this is muscle memory game after all and all that does is make the learning process more tedious. Of course no one explained which key to get so I had to figure it out on my own. I forced the same drop route to make it more consistent but forgot what key does what so I can't explain it sorry. Though I do remember the last key changes the end of the drop and one of the keys is useless so you really just need to look out for 3 of them.While I'm at it I might as well upload some of the no hits I've done for shadow of the erdtree and sekiro just for fun. Saw a preview of it before it came out and thought it was really cool. The song sounded great, deco was eye catching, and the gameplay seemed fun. Being based on Star and DAL was cool too. I haven't watched Star but the ending is so infamous that I know that much. Don't know why it was bad but people didn't like it. I did watch all of DAL though and really liked it.The level is almost perfect in terms of everything except one thing at that is the blind transitions. Really no reason for the creator to have spammed blind transitions all over the level. They become muscle memory eventually but it's still a very annoying and cheap thing to do. Other than that, the gameplay is practically flawless. No one part feels unfair. I loved how balanced the level is even though some parts are harder than others. Whenever I died it was purely my fault and I didn't blame it on the level (again, except for the blind stuff). Learning takes a while as it is a long level but once you get it all down the consistency is nice. Warming up also took very little time, so very good job on the gameplay for the most part.Crazy how fast summer ended. It feels like just yesterday I got my new hardest at the start of summer and had all the free time in the world. Too bad it's all gone now. Also yeah I still need to upload like 20-30 videos of extremes and I will whenever motivation to edit kicks in. One of the worst endings to a level I've ever played. Such a shame because it could've been a great level but who cares about enjoyment it just has to be hard right?
