To raise awareness of these incredible but endangered animals I have created an original ‘Red Panda Book Tag’. I hope you enjoy the questions while learning a little about red pandas.
Be warned it includes cute pictures of red pandas!
And don't forget to check out the Red Panda Network: redpandanetwork.org
The questions
1. Red pandas are reddish/brown medium sized mammals that live in south/southeast Asia. Name your favourite fictional animal companion.
2. Red pandas are endangered with fewer than 2500 left in the wild. Name a book that's made you think differently about a serious issue.
3. Habitat loss is the number one threat to red pandas. Name a book where a character is forced to leave their home.
4. The Red Panda Network is an incredible charity that not only protects red pandas but tackles gender inequality in Nepal. Talk about a book that discusses gender.
5. Firefox, the internet browser, is named after red pandas and used to have a red panda live stream. Name a book that does something interesting with technology.
6. Red pandas are one of the few animals that can walk down trees headfirst. Name a character that always walks headfirst into danger.
7. Red pandas have a sweet tooth. What is your favourite sweet thing to eat or drink while reading?
8. Red Pandas have pseudo thumbs (modified wrist bones) which allows them to hold on to things. Name a book that you've had for years that you can't let go of.
9. There are two species of red panda. Name a duology that you love.
10. Tag some friends!

Doing something a little different today.
So I decided to do a Vlog, which was far more challenging than I anticipated! Thank you for joining me as I reread extracts and see how contraception is discussed in the books I own. Being open and talking about contraception is something I'm very passionate about and I am very interested by whether/ how it is portrayed in books.
I looked at a very small number of books but I'm hoping over the next year I will look more in to this and have a larger sample size next time, if I do a similar video.

Hello Friends,
I've decided I'm going to start doing a few more book reviews and I thought we would start with a five star read 'Here is the Beehive' by Sarah Crossan.
This review is spoiler free and I would love to know your thoughts if you've read it.
Here is the link for the video where I talk about 'Moonrise' by Sarah Crossan. Another breathtakingly beautiful book and one of my favorite reads of 2020: youtube.com/watch?v=-QuFpMJultI&t=1s
