It has been all over the news and social media in the past few days. I just felt like showing some kind of empathy for the events and depict the cruelty behind this (and many other) mindless killings (And this quote from OTH came into my mind. It suits this event quite well although it was in a slightly different context).Yes, I said many other mindless killings because this got a lot of attention compared to other killings that take place every day all over the globe and that don't get heavily featured in the media. Only now - that 'war' is knocking on our doors - we are seeing things. The danger.Do I think that's okay? Hell no. Do I think it makes sense? Yes, kinda. I live in Europe myself and of course this affects me somewhat more. The more we can identify with a certain situation/person/whatever the more it affects us. Suddenly it is your life that could be at risk as well (The presumed safety goes out the window).Do I think that sucks? Yes. This quote comes into my mind: "The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong in the world."What happened is terrible and I'm sure something like this will happen again. And again. We all know that we are far from world peace but still we must not let anything like this let us lose hope. Let's have faith in humanity. It is important for us to try to make the world a better place (yes, i used this cliché-expression :P). We mustn't let fear paralyze us or become more hateful towards other cultures. Those terrible individuals do not represent all. So, let's not draw wrong conclusions and act out of fear. We must stay unified as human beings. More than ever. Greys Anatomy - Only Human (S1-11) vivaciousFanatic 2015-01-13 | I finally managed to finish one of my many "human"-projects!!Since this song came out I started several from B.t.v.s. to multifemales and I was never able to finish any... not until I continued watching Grey's Anatomy after a loooong break (Hard to get over the "S-exie"-Tragedy *sniff*) and OMG this show is still (after 11 years!!!) capable of touching me on a level tv shows rarely do these days. So yeah, respect to the producers and the amazing cast and everyone behind this Drama :)This is actually my first time vidding Grey's Anatomy and I really tried to include as many characters and still make it match the lyrics and the general feeling of this song. Wish I could have included more Bailey, April/Jackson or scenes from season 6 finale but other scenes were just too damn good/important to be left out. Julia&Joel//Amber&Ryan - walk away or try harder vivaciousFanatic 2014-11-28 | I think this is my longest and most personal vid so far. It's not about the editing...I mean, ofc somehow, but it's not like cuts/effects/overlays/etc are that important rather than the quotes and scenes chosen. This is a very personal project and I kinda made this to process my recent breakup. I can identify A LOT with the scenes depicted here. Mainly I see myself in Amber & Julia but I can relate to some quotes from the guys as well (e.g. Joel's “Trying to figure out why I'm here, why I'm doing this..”). My boyfriend was kinda the same type of guy as Joel and Ryan, as he is very loyal and sweet but can also get really distant and is able to shut down completely. It's really hard to have fights with a person like this...and sadly that's what we mainly did towards the end.The scenes and quotes in this vid are like my way of recapitulating what happened. So what this means is: they are chosen/edited to serve MY purpose #humansbeselfish. So don't bash on me for showing that those TV couples don't match ;)I certainly see how having kids and being in a relationship for so long might affect your will to try harder rather than giving up. So I can forgive the writers if Julia and Joel should still end up together (that's what it looks like atm). But I for my part really sympathize with Julia's statement, that, yes, she wasn't perfect but when she really needed to see his engagement (as in commitment), needed him to fight, he didn't do anything. He just gave up. And if one person is willing to give up so easily, I think it's only fair to stay separated. Glad I can dedicate it to you since I know you started watching that show.------------------------------the following description is just me stating my thoughts in connection to this vid. Feel free to ignore it xD------------------------------Sometimes you aren't with the person you love but with the person you need. Someone who's in love with YOU. Someone nice to make you feel good about yourself for once. As long as you're not hurting anybody I guess this can be a good thing(?). But you know there will be a time when you have to be honest to yourself. The time when you think about the one you truly heart. "Most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I'm with you." (Dirty Dancing, 1987)So there are those people in our lives that make us question everything. That make us wanna be a better person. People we wish we could say all the things that are going on in our lives, our heads...but we rarely pluck up the courage to do so. So we search for excuses and play for time, there never seems to be the right moment. We don't say anything... - to quote Clay (OTH, 9x10): "we don't take the time to say the things that are in our hearts when we have the chance." I'm trying to capture this with this wonderful song. After listening to it for days and days, thinking about my and my best friends' lovelifes, I immediately thought of TCD where Carrie and Sebastian have this fight about not saying what's going on and how they're feeling (1x12). I think that was a very realistic portrait of how fights might escalate and in the end the result is the opposite of what you actually wanted...But I also wanted to include all the other heartbreaking scenes from some of my favourite fandoms (not ships! As you might notice not all of them belong to my OTPs) where people did in fact state what was going on, what they wanted to say → like Karen did at the Beach in Californication (6x09). That scene was PERFECTION.We're afraid of being rejected and - on the contrary to television where most couples end with a happy end after all* - it poses an actual threat. On TV all the "rejected ones", the ones who give their emotional "speech" will eventually get the girl/boy. In RL the other person/you might actually not feel the same way AT ALL. Being the one who rejects someone is somewhat less frightening... It's kind of easier to push someone away than letting them in. In some cases it might be cowardly but - let's not forget - sometimes it's also the right thing to do when you really don't love (or even like) the other person that much. But even when it's right it feels terrible (at least in the beginning)...*Like Brooke did with Julian. She wasn't sure about how she felt. And I think she'll never love him the way she loved Lucas although they tried to establish them as soulmates or something. Lucas was her first love and Julian the second best thing for HER (I love Julian ofc waaay more than Lucas!). In real life their story wouldn't be a happy end. It would be how she never got the one she wanted.Same with Ted and Robin but kinda worse wrtiting on HIMYM. That final episod..like..SERIOUSLY?! (Ted & Robin ending up together wasn't even the worst part *cough* Barney *cough*) Ted, the "main"character got what he wanted. Her. Doesn't even matter if she never truly loved him (that was established countless episodes before!)... #ramblingonandonaboutstuffeveryonealreadyknows#longestdescriptionever------------------------------I know it's been quite sometime since my last full length video...pradonnez-moi!For this project I actually had A LOT of inspiration going in but I lost it along the editing-way...I always see things that bother me because I'm such a perfectionist but there comes a time when you're tired of rendering the same video again and again. lost all my files :( vivaciousFanatic 2012-10-24 | The last few months the bad luck virtually followed me around! First my camera and two of my cellphones got stolen and now THIS.---I've had some time to get over it and I really don't wanna go into detail once again, so here is the short version:my external harddrive (where I kept all my files, had all my videos, projects, a thousand pictures and more stuff) is no longer working!I really tried everything I could...but even if I would get some of my files back (paying an expert to recover something) it wouldn't mean my projects would still be useful since all the paths must have been deleted..so not-so-long-story-short: I'm screwed :(---I'm sorry I haven't been able to inform you earlier but I wasn't really into using my laptop anymore...Anyway, now after some "grieving" I felt the urge to tell you guys about it and I thought I might as well make this a little bit entertaining, just to lighten up the mood :P---The clips used in this video are from youtube only (since I haven't got the time to download everything just yet) and therefore my apologies...---However, I'm not going to quit vidding just because of this! (OMG, I'm so very thankful for my subscribers - almost 200!!!) It'll just take me some time to get all the clips again and I'm probably gonna need some inspiration...I still can't believe I've lost EVERYTHING. I had so many unfinished projects at least 30! I probably wouldn't have finished all of them but at least 10 (multifandoms, cast vids, humourous stuff...) and five of them (TVD cast, himym cast, ringer cast, nick&jess, robin&barney) were almost finished :(:(:(I don't know yet if I'm gonna try to make the same vids again or start complete fresh with new projects...so I'd really like to know what kinds of vids you're most interested in ??
