Overnight in the Iron wall tent bakupcpu 2020-03-30 | Little overnight I did with my Onetigris Iron wall tent and my little wood stove. The night went to a low of -1c and even without the wood stove we would've been fine but the wood stove does dry stuff and bring a level of comfort that I can't say no to. The night went uneventful which is good the coyotes were calling all night and I think they did a circle around my camp from far far away. The wood stove went out at I have no idea time as I was deep into sleep mode and I woke up several time during the night to... New Rokon add-on bakupcpu 2020-03-30 | I got myself a little princess auto special trailer this is just a dump loader trailer that can support 650 lbs which is more then enough for what I'll be using it. Bringing Nevaeh to the trail then letting her run everywhere she wants. I'll be also using it to haul extra gear and also Nevaeh on longer ride. Rokon ride in the slushy trails bakupcpu 2020-03-24 | This is a somewhat long video and normally i would edit the boring part but I did not for many reason. I notice the intro the sound is a tad off but for the rest it's fine I also reduce the volume every time a branch hit the camera I was watching the video and those scare the bejebus out of me so I save you that trouble. It was a beautiful day and I decided to simply go for a little ride and also find a spot where I could set-up my new tent which will be in a separate video. The trail are getting a bit sketchy to ride even on 2 wheel power the top layer is melted and underneath it's slippery even my studs don't do much. In any case I always enjoy a nice ride next time I'll try to aim the camera higher up but for now enjoy the ground? Thanks for watching.

Overnight Camping Hot tent bakupcpu 2020-02-19 | I decided to test my gear out a little and see how comfortable my tent would be in a somewhat cold night. Got my Kerosun heater and hunter heater SHS ( Space heater small) for backup in case things go crazy. Everything went well the tent overnight went to probably less then 10c I was bundle up with Nevaeh and we had no problem. I did start the hunter for an hour during the night I was chill to the bone after going outside. The night passes with no issue then I fire up the hunter early morning to cook the tent a little and I use it to boil water for my coffee. 2020 Ski-Doo Skandic bakupcpu 2020-02-17 | Here's a little look around my new machine that I'll be using for the winter for many trips and camping experience. I got the Ski-Doo Skandic with the 900ace engine which is a 4 stroke 900 cc that give about 90 HP of power now take note that the Skandic is not a fast machine with it's pulling capacity of about 1100 lbs. It has 2 speed forward a neutral and reverse. The back of the track is articulated to allow better backing in deep snow. Any way here's a short ride on hard pack snow max speed was about 25 kph and I almost lost it at some point the stud do add extra traction but to a limit snow is still snow and I notice the big difference on the icy road around the trail. Swamp shack to first casualty bakupcpu 2019-03-31 | Well after water and ice, twigs and what ever was lying in the trail my quad tie rod end decided to let me go. I was lucky that the speed was about 5kph and I was not alone. I carry tool with me but having more machine helps. After that we made it to camp Hughes and I park the quad climb on another machine and we continue the ride. we did a total of about 80Km that day.

Those swamp shack are for Snowmobile in the winter to warm up before continuing the ride. We can access them right now has the ground and marsh is still frozen but I think that was the last ride over that area until next winter.

Mine pop a tie rod end in the swamp after the shack and buddy of mine got stuck on the ride home with his machine and ended in ripping is front bumper. One other think is snap an axle but was not confirm. In either case it was a great day we covered a total of about 80 Km.I have a new camera coming for those who are wondering the poor audio quality and odd placement of the camera and also have a drone on it's way the next video should be more interesting.
Camp Hughes Ride 04 bakupcpu 2019-03-17 | I finally got unstuck I was in deep. Most of the me shaking the quad got deleted because it took me about 10 min. And now back to riding... Camera died not long after so this is about the end. We did about 40km and 5 hours of riding it was a great day and I'll be doing more of those.

I remove the boring just riding and put mostly getting stuck and hills. I ended up staying one more night and left the next day my friends dogs where tire of the great outdoor and where full of burr which was fun to remove the following day. Day 1 winter camping bakupcpu 2018-07-28 | Here's my little setup for winter camping in full luxury I would say, friend of mine said last summer: "We should go winter camping!" and I agreed it would be a new experience so having no tent I decide to go online to buy a tent and I went all out I got this tent from eBay seller russian-bear.market and they have a website which you can buy all of their equipment. The day of the setup was fairly warm a nice -10c (14F) but at dusk which in Manitoba in the winter happen at about 4pm the temperature went down to -25c (-13F) for the day I had the hunter shs heat running on the lowest setting as you can see in the video but later the diesel started to gel and I think one clump went in the floater resulting in the heater starting to run full blast and I had to shut it off and resort to the wood stove. The night went fairly well woke up a few time to put wood in the stove in order to keep the temperature high enough for my friend dogs (they are not outdoor dogs). It consist of an dc motor that turn an alternator that produce the 120v ac at roughly 60 hz. The 2 side are insulated from each other and also produce a close enough sine wave. You can load sequence from an SD card this function still need improvement as it tend to stop working after a few sequence but it's a start. The rest of the function work pretty well. Arduino External serial monitor bakupcpu 2014-11-13 | Here is the result of a few hours of research and a few line of code. I made a little serial monitor for being able to debug or see serial data away from computer. The code is very simple I got some of it out of another working project. I did not create the original coding for this lamp but It will be in the description. It's basically an arduino with a photo-resistor combine with an RGB LED that will analyze the color you present it. I put up a simple code after to stop the scanning once it has done the calibration so that I can move the lamp to where ever I want after :). Range finder and Radar? bakupcpu 2014-08-31 | Here's something I just assemble from parts I got from icstation.com it compose of an Nokia 5110 LCD, electronic gyroscope and a ultrasonic range finder. Now for the range finder part it's very simple I use the code from the arduino example and modify it to suit my need and for the radar part well I'm not sure it's a radar but sure is fun to play with. 4 Transistor 5 to 120 volts inverter powering a radio. bakupcpu 2014-08-29 | To the demand of MakerJ101 here it is the inverter powering something else then LED light a little clock radio that I found in the house and decide to power it. I think it's about the max this little inverter can handle but it work and I didn't hear any humming coming from the speaker I guess with a better radio you could probably hear something. Antique and new Alcohol/Spirit burner bakupcpu 2014-08-29 | A bit different from the usual electronic here two burner that I recently acquire. The first one is antique and it's made by Primus which is a famous stove company that still produce very nice stove. The second one is a new one that by the guess of the instruction that was in the box is either Japanese of Chinese. I did a boil test on both of them and the antique turn out to boil 3 cups of cold water to a rolling boil in about 15 min hope you're not in a rush. The second one was a little faster with a 10 min nothing super impressive but I was curious and they are nice to have. Thanks for watching!
