In this video, I show how I mount the Air Assist that you can download for free from my website (3d printable STL file) on my Ortur Master II laser engraving machine.
By using the Air Assist unit the laser can cut and engrave deeper and faster, making the Ortur Master II much more versatile.
The Air-Assist can be printed with any properly calibrated 3D printer that can print PLA plastic. The layer height is 0.2mm and the files must be printed separately from each other. Especially the small clamp part should be printed slowly, otherwise, it will not fit. You may have to sand it to size.
I only offer the Air Assist as a file, and will NOT sell it or print it for others. My day-to-day work and family commitments do not allow me to spend time 3D printing for others. If you want the Air Assist, but you don't have a 3D printer, then use 3DHubs or go to a maker space in your own area, they can help you there.

The TwoTrees laser engraving machine and cutter is definitely one of the most complete laser cutting machines you can buy right now that uses a 10 Watt diode laser. The machine can be operated perfectly with the free LaserGRBL software, but you can also work perfectly with Lightburn with this machine, and TwoTrees has its own app for Android and Apple users with which you can use the machine over WiFi. You no longer have to do the adjustment of the machine by hand, because the TS-2 uses a very well-functioning autofocus over the Z axis of the machine, and this autofocus measures with a probe where the material is located. You just have to indicate whether you want to engrave or cut, and if you want to cut, you have to tell us how thick the material is that you want to cut. The TS-2 then sets itself to the correct depth, making the most perfect cuts I've ever seen from a laser cutting machine with a diode laser. As an example, I have never managed to make a nice cut from 6mm thick MDF board, but with this machine it was no problem at all. Acrylic and stainless steel are also no challenge for this machine, you can simply work with these materials. TwoTrees gave me this machine as a gift for a review, but they were unable to influence the review in any way. Everything I say and show in this review is my own opinion and came about through my own testing.

If you watched this video to see how I used 3D printing to avoid speeding tickets, then you are on the correct channel. I bought myself a device to warn against speed traps that the police in the Netherlands used, but the bracket was designed really stupidly. That's why I created a new bracket to hold the hardware in place against the window of my car where I can easily reach it.
The Used printer is the Longer Orange 4K mono Resin 3D printer and the software used to design the bracket is Fusion 360.

The Longer Orange 4K Mono is a resin 3D printer that is MUCH DIFFERENT from any other Resin 3D Printer in its price range. The printer does work with a lot of slicers and comes with both Chitubox and Longerware, but it's also compatible with Lychee Slicer. It is not dependent on the Chitubox software, as many other resin printers are, and it doesn't require you to take a yearly subscription to Chitubox software. Yet, this printer has the highest resolution LCD screen ever seen in a resin printer that prints in this size, at this price point.
Due to the fact that it's a Mono LCD printer, the Longer Orange 4K Mono is about 4 times faster in curing resin than other comparable printers, such as my Elegoo Mars. Also, this printer has the possibility to alter files after you are done slicing. If you made a mistake while slicing, you can easily correct that mistake from the printer touchscreen and save the file, so the changes won't get lost if you want to print the file again.
At this moment, I think this is the best low-cost resin LCD printer you can buy, and this printer will for sure cost you less than if you buy for example an Elegoo resin printer, as that works only with Chitubox software.
𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥: This printer was given to me by Longer for a review and the Longer company had no problem with my review guidelines, which I have published on my website: 3d-printcreator.com/review-guidelines I have not, and will not get paid for this review. The Longer LK5 Pro printer is a large printer, which is also intended for making large objects. The 3D printer arrived six months ago and is used daily by me for making prototypes and mockups. In addition to this printer, I also use two other large printers, from Creality and Artillery, but I like the Longer LK5 Pro the best because it produces perfect prints with the least effort.
The Longer LK5 Pro has a bed for objects of 300x300 millimeters in size and can print 400 millimeters high. The frame must therefore be very sturdy and robust, and the triangular construction of this printer means that it is. In addition, the printer is equipped with an easy interface and an easy-to-read 4.3 inch large touchscreen.
𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥: This printer was given to me by Longer for a review, but that was more than six months ago, and that review was made by agreement. This second video was made by me because I really like this printer, and think it's one of the best large format 3D printers you can buy for under $300.

In this Atomstack P7 Laser Engraver Review, I will show you the reason why I think this is currently the best 5 Watt laser engraving machine you can possibly buy, and also for sure the most powerful laser engraver I have tested so far on my channel.
The Atomstack P7 is a single arm laser engraver, made out of Aluminum and sheet metal that is extremely sturdy, with a work area of 200 times 200 millimeters. The machine is controlled by GRBL commands, so it can be used with LaserGRBL and Lighhtburn without any problems.
The laser itself is a diode type laser with a compressed spot due to lenses that focus the light coming from the laser module. The spot size, or kerf, is 0.02mm on both the X and Y axis, and that makes this the diode laser with the smallest kerf I have ever tested. This also means that all the energy provided by the 5.5 Watt laser source is transferred to a spot of only 0.02x0.02mm making it the narrowest and most powerful laser beam I have ever seen on a diode laser.
The Atomstack P7 is easy to assemble and the box includes all the tools needed, including some special plastic parts that help you level the arm of the laser without any problems.

The Atomstack P7 laser Engraver is provided to me for free by Atomstack, for a review on this channel. Atomstack did not pay for the review, and I had all the rights to include any good or bad thing I would find in this video. Everything I say in this video is my own interpretation of the quality of this laser engraver.
This type of reviews is only possible due to the support of my viewers who sometimes do a donation via paypal or who buy their equipment via my affiliate links. Thank you so much for doing that.
Making 3D objects as a gift or as a functional part for yourself is not only reserved for 3D printers but can also be done with laser cutting machines, such as the Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro, which I use in this video. With the right software, you can easily make the different layers, which you later glue together, so that you get a 3D object. So it's a matter of thinking in layers to create such an object.

Full disclaimer, I received this laser for a review and I am allowed to keep the machine for comparison with other machines. Ortur did not pay me for this review, and everything I say is my own opinion.
On January 12, 2022, Ortur will launch its new Aufero Laser 2, a laser engraving machine with a large work surface and a choice of 3 different laser modules, tailored to the wishes of the user. There will be a model for people who like to make engravings, such as photos in wood or leather, a version for people who like to cut things out of wood, cardboard or acrylic, and a version that is somewhere in between. I looked at that version, the 5.5Watt Short Throw laser, in this review.
The first thing you notice when you buy the laser is that it is very well packaged and that the machine can really be put together in a few minutes. You do not need any special knowledge about assembling CNC machines to assemble this engraving machine. Once the Aufero Laser 2 is assembled, you can connect it to your computer and start your software. I myself use Lightburn, which is paid software, but you can also work with LaserGRBL, which is a free variant.
Once started, it is clear that this laser engraving machine delivers excellent results. Whether engraving wood, cutting wood or engraving leather, the laser has no problem with it and just does what it's supposed to do.
The used Diode laser modules are of the same type as the 24 volt modules used in the Aufero Laser 1, and the Ortur Laser Master II machines, and are therefore perfectly interchangeable. The Aufero Laser 2 may not be as fast at 5000mm per minute as the Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro, but when it comes to quality, this machine is not inferior to its much more expensive brother. When it comes to the pure price versus quality ratio, the Aufero Laser 2 easily beats its big brother.

The question that a number of people asked me via social media was whether this laser is capable of cutting wood or cardboard, and whether or not the 12-volt power supply does not supply enough power to be a really powerful machine.
In this video, I, therefore, show that I can cut wood with ease with the Longer RAY5 laser and that it does not matter that this laser has a 12-volt power supply, even though other brands have a 24-volt power supply. I show how the actual amount of light, and the size of the dot, really determine how powerful a laser is.

The Longer Ray5 is the first Laser engraver I received that comes with a controller as standard. This controller makes it unnecessary to connect a computer to the laser, which means that using the machine becomes a lot easier and in some cases, also a lot cheaper.
The powerful 5.5 Watt laser (optical power) is capable of engraving in a beautiful way, even when it comes to photo-realistic images. This laser can also easily be cut in wood and acrylic, provided that the latter concerns dark blue or black material. The machine is equipped with a number of safety options, but of course it is important that you continue to think for yourself and that you are always careful with your laser engraver.
The advantages of the Longer Ray 5 are: - Built-in controller with SD cards and WiFi - Standard equipped with a 5.5 Watt laser module - Perfect Square shaped 0.08x0.08mm dot, no KERF effect - Suitable for engraving and cutting - Easy operation - Economically priced, compared to comparable machines

A handy way to easily level your object with respect to your laser is to push the object into sand, rice or cat litter so that the unevenness of the object is negated. You can easily make a sandbox yourself, or you can use a baking tin for the oven that you fill with sand or another material of your choice.

This laser engraving machine has a laser that has a real power of 5.23 WATT and this is combined with a lens that focuses the light to just 0.08mm. Together, this ensures that this laser has extreme power to cut or engrave objects. It is even possible to engrave the hardened steel of a Letherman multitool in super high detail, with this laser machine. I didn't even have to use a tool like mustard, the machine can engrave directly on silver colored hardened steel.
The machine comes as a kit and can be assembled in about an hour by people who can also assemble an IKEA cabinet. I'm using paid software from Lightburn in this review, because I'm licensed and can handle it well, but the laser works with any software that can send GRBL commands.
The laser is available from several vendors, but I prefer the original Two Trees website, and the link used is an affiliate link, which helps recoup my cost of making this video a little bit. Thanks for watching, and see you in the next video.

I received the LK5 Pro 3D printer from Longer for a review. This printer is a competitor to the Ender 3 Pro in terms of pricing and a competitor to the Artillery Sidewinder X in terms of size on which you can print. The printer is sturdy and has extra rods to anchor the upper gantry. The printer has only 1 Z axis motor, which is striking when you consider how much effort has gone into making the printer so sturdy. The filament is brought to the head on the Bowden style, so the extruder is on the side of the frame, while the filament is brought to the head through a tube. The interface of the printer is very clear, and very easy to operate, and the touch screen makes it easy to do all the input on the printer. Files are transferred to the printer via a micro SD card, and a Micro SD to USB converter is included.
Full disclaimer: This printer has been provided to me for review at no charge and does not need to be returned to the factory. Longer in no way stipulated how I should do the review, nor did he specifically ask for things to be mentioned. The review is based entirely on my own findings and opinion about the printer, and no payment has been made for this review in any way. The links I use in this review are affiliate links, which I earn from when you use them. You can do this not only to buy the printer but also to support my channel. Imagine it, Design it, Make it, Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro is specialized for manufacturers. The Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro is the newest laser in the Ortur range, and it is also the most professional diode laser engraver the company makes. The machine has 4x more power in cutting objects, can engrave with the best, and works with much more precision than its predecessors.
The important innovations of this Ortur LM2 Pro are: PRECISION - The laser projects onto a much smaller dot, allowing for much higher precision, and the motherboard has also been modified to handle this tremendous precision SPEED - The Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro can move 2.5x faster, allowing the laser to engrave faster, but also be able to transfer power in smaller amounts to the material being engraved. SAFETY - The new laser engraver has far more safety options than any predecessor and from any brand. From an emergency button to flame recognition and a system that detects machine movement. DURABILITY - The Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro is made in such a way that it can easily work 24/7, without any problem arising in the operation of the individual components.
In the video, high-speed engraving is done on plywood that has been pre-treated using the Kenny Hack Method. More information about the Kenny Hack can be found on his YouTube channel, The Kenny Hack.

Users with an Ender 3 V2 printer who purchased this printer at the end of 2020, or early 2021, and who are experiencing skipped steps in virtually every print, may experience an issue on the motherboard of the printer, which has wrong stepper drivers.
Creality has shipped the Ender 3 V2 with the 4.2.2. motherboard, where the stepper drivers are soldered to the board, so they are not easy to replace. In the beginning, these were original Trinamic TMC 2208 silent stepper drivers (and the board is also available with 4988 stepper drivers), but later Creality started using a clone made in China that is much cheaper, but also much worse. These knock-off stepper drivers cause the problem of skipped steps, and this has nothing to do with incorrectly assembling the printer or not tightening the belts properly.
Since the TMC 2208 stepper drivers are soldered to the board and are not easy to replace, the only solution to fix the problem is to replace the motherboard with the 4.2.7 version, which is sold as an upgrade by Creality.
At the time of making this video, buyers who bought this printer with the wrong stepper drivers are not yet being compensated for this issue, and these users can only go to their reseller. In my case, the Dutch seller where my printer comes from was kind enough to give me the 4.2.7. motherboard for free to repair the printer, but I read on various forums that this is not the case everywhere in the world.
I can confirm that after replacing the 4.2.2 motherboard to the 4.2.7 motherboard, all problems have been resolved.

For starters, the prints that come from this printer are beautiful. If you do not want to watch the entire video, but only see the results, you can do so at 05:14 in this video, but I promise you that if you watch the entire video, I will mention quite a few things that determine whether or not you want to buy this printer.
The TRONXY XY-2 PRO has an automatic bed level function, measuring not only a single point, but a complete mesh of 16 points. The printer is equipped with a filament runout sensor, and this is the first printer I know of, where you can interrupt a print, for example, because you want to go to bed, and resume it the next day. This is more than just continuing to print in the event of a power failure.
The software on the printer, and the associated interface, is the most user-friendly I have encountered on cheap printers to date. Only on a printer of over 3000 Euro have I ever seen a similar, pleasant interface. Striking in this interface are the possibilities to change parameters during printing, and the possibility to view a 3D render of the print while selecting the file to print.
So, you can deside. Is this printer the cheapest Ender 3 competitor?

Or a color touchscreen with a very powerful interface that even shows the images of the print, so that you can easily choose the right print. Or the option to interrupt a print yourself to continue it the next day?
Compared to, for example, an Ender 3 V2, this printer is a lot cheaper, but it is much better equipped with useful functions that can be important for a novice maker.
So, here is my First Impression of the Super Cheap TRONXY XY-2 Pro Printer.

Watch it here: youtu.be/W9n7gOlvy9w I used this cheap laser engraver: Ortur Master II http://gbe.st/302mPvP After uploading my previous video about engraving stainless steel with a cheap diode laser machine, I noticed that quite a lot of people had problems getting the same result as I had in my video. I spent a long time looking for the root cause of this problem and finally found that the mustard I used was the answer to this question. After trying different types of mustard for metal engraving, I found out that some mustards did not work at all, while others showed a very good result. The difference was really huge and I, therefore, advise everyone to experiment with different types of mustard to get a good result. Ortur Master II (all types) http://gbe.st/302mPvP In this video, I show you how I use my Ortur Master 2 for Metal Engraving with the help of some mustard and I also show you the new Air Assist I made that is now compatible with all Ortur Master 2 Laser Engravers.
How nice would it be if the Ortur Master 2 machine could engrave at least twice as fast? And how nice would it be if this could also be done in stainless steel, such as IKEA scissors?
Using SHX fonts, it is possible to write text while staying in the line mode of the laser. This makes the laser work a lot faster, but you can also use real power when engraving, which is what you need to engrave metal.
By using mustard on stainless steel, you can use the laser to use the acid in the mustard to etch the metal where the laser makes the acid hot. Unfortunately, this method does not work on all metals, but it works great on stainless steel.
When I made my previous Air Assist unit, I did not know that there are small differences between the various Ortur Master 2 laser engraving machines. Because of this it happened that my previous air assist was compatible with my machine, but did not work well with some other Ortur Master laser machines. For that reason I have searched for a solution that works for ALL Ortur Master 2 machines, regardless of which laser diode you use, or which version of the machine you have in your possession.

The reason is that the laser used is a so-called DIODE laser, and they have an unusual KERF. Diode lasers have a light source that is not round, but rectangular, and this light source ensures that the cut that a diode laser makes in the direction of the X axis has a very different thickness than the cut that the same laser makes in the Y axis. Normally with a sawing or cutting device you name the thickness of the cut, and this thickness is then called KERF, but with a diode laser this is difficult to indicate, because there are a few variables that determine the thickness of the cut. That's what this video is about.

This printer was sent to me by GearBest after my previously received model became completely defective due to transport to my home.
The Ortur Obsidian is a low cost printer with features that you will find in the much more expensive, high end models. Think of a mesh bed leveling function and the relay to automatically switch off the printer after printing. You will not normally find these functions in a printer of this price.
As can be seen in this review, I have a bit of an issue with the height of the print bed of this printer, but I solve that by making some rings and placing them between the frame and the bed. After I have done that, this printer prints excellent and I only have good results.
Until now I have only tested the printer with PLA filament and a few test models, but of course I will now use the printer for actual production models, and in a few weeks there will be a new review with an extensive look at this 3D printer as I use it every day.

In the studio and outside, I use lamps that have their own battery, and that can work for about 1 hour with this battery. Sometimes this is not long enough, and at those times I rely on a 10,000 mAh battery pack from Grixx to make sure I can use my video lighting for about 5 hours, at full power.
Because I use my lamps on a light stand, it is important that I can also use the battery pack on that light stand. I use a simple piece of string for this, which can hang from the lamp stand as a loop. A simple, but very functional solution.
If I had printed the tray with one of my 3D printers, the printing would have taken at least 4 hours, but even 6 hours if I would have printed in the quality I really like, namely 0.2mm layer height. I needed the trays quickly and wanted to be able to manufacture them faster, which is why I looked at laser cutting. With the Ortur Master 2 engraver, equipped with an Air assist unit, I was able to cut the trays in just 12 minutes. As a result, the entire manufacturing, including design and gluing, took about 20 minutes from start to usable product.
That's why I think 3D printing is a very convenient way of manufacturing, but not always the best way. Sometimes other forms of subtractive manufacturing are faster, stronger and more useful than additive manufacturing.

The supplies for this Air Assist are: - 2 printed parts (3D Prints) - 1x 4mm screw, 20mm long - 1x 4mm nut - 1x Aquarium pump 150l / min http://gbe.st/302mgmV - 1x air hose with aquarium pump - 1x standard 6mm 3D printer nozzle
The Laser machines can be found here: The big Ortur Master machine, in different power settings http://gbe.st/3028i4P And it's smaller brother, also in different power settings. http://gbe.st/3028i4O
The files for the 3D printer can be downloaded FREE from my website. Print this with 0.2mm layer height, then the thread in the air pipe will fit perfectly with a 6mm 3D printer nozzle. (Use E3D Style nozzles - I reused an old nozzle, that I replaced weeks ago)
Make sure that the 3D printer nozzle that you use for the air assist has an opening of 1 mm in diameter, so that the air can blow through it properly. I myself used an old 0.4mm nozzle, where I made the hole slightly larger with a drill.

The Ortur Obsidian is the latest 3D printer from the Ortur brand. This printer has a bed of 250x250 millimeters and is able to print up to 300mm high, more than enough volume to print most objects.
Special details of the Ortur Obsidian are the metal frame, which is extremely strong and really built to last for years, a dual drive extruder, which is placed directly above the hot end, a proximity sensor that measures the bed and a mesh level of the bed allows for printing of the first layers and the latest Marlin interface for easy operation.
All of the above features can only be seen together in expensive 3D printers, or 3D printers that have been upgraded by the user himself, but it is rare to find all the features at once in a single printer, straight from the factory. Never mind that this printer is priced as low as this Ortur Obsidian, which is therefore much cheaper than the Creality Ender 3, if you provide it with all these upgrades.
My concerns are currently still with the long delivery time and the availability of this 3D printer. I hope Ortur will be able to reduce waiting times and ensure that the printer can be delivered faster. Those who want to buy the printer must now take into account 1 to 2 months delivery time. Time will tell, but I think the Ortur Obsidian may well be the successor to the long-standing Ender 3 printer, because the Ortur is packed with the latest technology at a very attractive price.

Thanks for watching this video.▼ The ORTUR OBSIDIAN 3D Printer someone played soccer with | Ortur Obsidian review3d-PrintCreator2020-10-14 | A few months ago I was asked by Gearbest if I wanted to review the very latest Ortur Obsidian 3D Printer? A printer with a very nice low price level, but executed in high-end materials and equipped with all luxury functions that you normally only find on much more expensive machines. Of course, I immediately said I wanted to review the printer and about a week ago I got a message that the printer had indeed been sent to my address. Since I was not at home when the 3D printer was delivered, my neighbor took delivery of the box, and that box had quite a few damages. Both cracks and obvious dents. I would not have accepted this box myself, but unfortunately, my neighbor did.
Actually, I planned to unbox and assemble the 3D printer in a live stream, but given the damage to the box, it seemed more sensible to assemble the printer first and then stream the first print with the machine.
It soon became clear that this was not going to happen because almost every part that can break is actually defective. Although the printer was packed very well, and shipped in very thick foam and in a thick cardboard box, the UPS deliverers must have managed to play a game of football with the box, because the printer housing, the print bed, the X axis, the double Z axis and even the display are all bent, dented or broken. Not one part of the printer is intact, while the printer is really made of very solid thick metal. Much thicker than many other printers I have here.
I would really not be doing the 3D printer, and the Ortur brand, a good service if I were to review this scrapped printer. The printer is more severely damaged than repairable. You can never straighten metal that is really bent, you have to replace it. And if almost all metal parts are bent, the printer will never be perfectly square again.
Unfortunately, I cannot review the printer for this reason, I would have liked it differently. Now, I am going to ask Gearbest to check via Ortur if it is possible to receive another review unit. One that might be shipped with a carrier other than UPS, because I'm sure it's not the packaging, nor the build quality of the printer. This printer really died during transport to my studio.▼ Better bed adhesion than in my old videos | Da Vinci Pro3d-PrintCreator2020-09-28 | Magnetic blue print bed 200x200mm : http://gbe.st/302eJxP Square Magnetic Print Bed 220x220mm : http://gbe.st/302cDGK Ultrabase Glass bed 235x235mm: http://gbe.st/302eJxR BIGGER SIZE Magnetic PEI flex plate 320x310mm: http://gbe.st/302cDGL
In my older videos that I made about the Da Vinci Pro printers, and maybe also about other printers, I often talked about what material I used as a print bed. I often mentioned the blue painter's tape, kapton tape, and buildtak as materials to use because at the time these videos were being made, it was the very best you could get. At the moment, however, there are so many better materials out there that give a much better adhesion of the print to the print bed that I don't support my old videos anymore, but still I don't want to delete them because they help thousands of people who have an XYZprinting printer because they are still for sale to this day and very popular. That's why I place a link to this video in a prominent place with all my old videos about these print bed materials, so that everyone can see this. I hope this video helps, and that everyone who watches the old videos also sees this video and understands that the old videos on this specific topic are no longer up to date.

This video is very suitable for anyone who wants to buy a laser engraving or cutting machine, or who already has one, but wants to get better results. If you don't have a laser engraving machine yet, I have a number of affiliate links to GearBest below, where they sell very good machines, which I think are the cheapest. The fact that these are affiliate links doesn't matter what you pay for, but it helps my channel a lot as I receive a small percentage of the sale.

This gear is the weakest link in the machine and breaks regularly just to protect the rest of the machine, but replacing this gear costs a whopping 54 Euro, every time it happens. He was looking for a cheaper way to get the gear, and my wife thought I could help with this. So I drew the gear for him in Fusion360 and then we looked for an online printing service that could make the gear in the same hard material as the original gear was made of, namely POM. Now he can order the gears per ten for only 9 Euro each, which is of course a huge cost saving compared to the original gears. Plus, the POM printed gears are really just as strong and durable as the original gears he always bought. So the functionality of his lathe is retained.

Thanks for watching this video.▼ Alfawise C50 Laser Engraver REVIEW3d-PrintCreator2020-08-16 | gearbest.com/laser-engraving-machine/pp_009464153627.html?wid=1433363&lkid=79728381 coupon:ALFAWISEC50 for 10 Dollar off I received the Alfawise C50 laser engraver from GearBest to review. This laser engraver is a self-contained unit that you can easily put over the object to be engraved. You can then connect the Alfawise C50 to the wall socket using an adapter, or use it with a USB power source, such as a battery. This makes it possible to use the unit completely separate from the mains. On the top of the Alfawise C50 you will find 2 USB connections. So one is for powering the device with a USB power supply, but the other is for connecting the laser engraver to a computer. However, this is not necessary because you can also download an APP on your phone and use the machine without turning on a computer. In the Aoo you can convert photos to a laser file, you can make and engrave text with it, or you can engrave nice drawings, which are offered from the App. The App is not completely ready yet, because here and there it has not been translated properly and there are also some problems with the layout when you create a text, but with a simple workaround you can also get there.
