She was an energetic, young, caring and sweet cat who loved each clanmate like a mother. Mothstar couldn't have kids, so she adopted everyone instead.Her deputy, and secret girlfriend, Birchstrike is more a reserved cat, quiet, don't like to bring attention and serious. She was a loner before joining the clan.One day, the Summerclan's river dried and prey became scarce. It was a long period of hungerness and starvation, where Mothstar saw her clanmates die daily due to the lack of food. After losing her sister, Mothstar I vowed she wouldn't lose any more cat, even if it costs all of her lives.So, she hunted and gave every prey she caught to her clanmates. She starved through her 9 lives in order everyone would be fed. The only one who knew about it was Birchstrike, who tried to stop Mothstar but in vain.The day the river came back, as well as the prey, Birchstrike went to hunt with the patrols and promised to bring the juiciest a biggest fish to Mothstar. However, when she got back, Mothstar has already lost her last life.Devastated, Birchstrike became the leader, but refused to receive her 9 lives. For her, it wasn't right she received 9 lives to waste on herself, while Mothstar sacrificed every single one of them feeding the clan.This became a tradition to Summerclan, where leaders don't receive the 9 lives in honor of Mothstar.However... time goes by and Mothstar's story became blurry and untruth. Cats would use it as a justify for their beliefs, such as "She-cats can't be leaders, because it would bring hungerness and destruction" and "She-cats should be the last to eat, as a way to honor Mothstar's sacrifice". Lastly, they believed Mothstar asked as a dying wish to her children become the next leaders of Summerclan. However, this was a lie, since Mothstar didn't have any children. Instead, her nephew rose the power after Birchstar's death and installed a "monarchy".If you had seen my video of Mothmask, his story is about revealing Mothstar's past and making a revolution on his clan.
You - OC MAP part 2 Marinin 2023-08-18 | This part is about when Lightsong (cream and brown patches medcat she-cat) flees from Springclan after she's appointed as the new leader by Starclan.Starclan sent the dream for Sunstar and Willowpaw, but didn't send to her or Hawkflight, the actual deputy of the clan.This was the final drop for Hawkflight's angery against Lightsong, whom he blames for the death of Berryspots and Applepaw, his mate and daughter respectively. Hawkflight threats Lightsong in her den, but he is interrupted as Willowpaw and Lemonsight gets in the medcat den and separate them.Lightsong decides to flee away. She makes Willowpaw's medcat ceremony in the den and gives her new name, Willowstorm. Although Willowstorm doesn't want her mentor to leave, she supports her friend, since she knows Lightsong isn't safe there.Learning about the threath by Lemonsight, Robinflight (the brown tom) confronts his brother and the two ends up in a fight, with Hawkflight getting the tip of his ear ripped off and Hawkflight just a little scar on his eyebrow.Robinflight goes check on his best friend, but Willowstorm tells him Lightsong ran away, giving him the direction she went. Robinflight manages to catch up Lightsong and confronts about her escaping the clan. The two argue for the first time ever. Robinflight declares he is going with her, because she is the most important cat for him and won't let her alone. With Robinflight's confession, Lightsong burst into tears. She loves him, and always wanted to be something more with him, but now, she isn't capable of being in a relationship, as she doesn't have a certain future anymore.The two conforts each other and find a place to be (it's an big and old tree in a hill, it appears in another video of mine). Robinflight vows he will be there, even if Lightsong never wants to be his mate, because he won't let her alone anymore.And Lightsong's journey of healing and dealing with depression/anxiety starts now.--------------------------------------------------------------------------I wanted to do this part before Art Fight, since I wanted to give Robinflight a bit more screentime. As you can see, I didn't finished on time B)I really love Robinflight. And the relationship of the two is a bit based on my personal life (Lightsong is my comfort oc).And yes, they become mates after Lightsong recovers. And they do have a healthy and happy relationship c:I think I'm now going to focus my MAP parts on Mothmask's arc (the one from 'you want a break from the ads' meme). Only males can be leaders, and the sucessor must be called as Mothmask when received his warrior name.Every Mothstar's kids must do both apprenticeships (the medicine cat and warrior), including the she-cats. Only Mothstar's kin can occupy the roles of leader and medicine cat in the clan, so every kid of Mothstar must learn every battle/hunting/healing skills.When the cat is in their medicine cat apprentice, they have an spiritual mentor to guide them about omens and starclan's stuff.This story talks about Mothpaw, the sucessor of Summerclan's leadership, which has Sun as his spiritual mentor, a she-cat who happens to be his age. As time goes by, our Mothpaw grows up, as well as Sun. When Mothpaw is close to get his warrior name ceremony, Sun reveals her secret: She is actually his older sister, who was killed by their own father due to a popular belief (which is : if the Mothstar's firstborn kit was a she-cat, his leadership would be a cursed with famine).Shocked by this story, Mothpaw, soon to be Mothmask, starts his journey against his father, seeking for revenge and a revolution of the clan.Some curiosity about Summerclan:- The leader doesn't receive 9 lives like the other leaders. This is against their faith and think this is an act of avarice.- They don't have a deputy. If the leader has siblings, they are the second of charge + the medicine cats.- The chosen one to be the leader doesn't get a name. They are always called Mothkit - Mothpaw - Mothmask - Mothstar. If a brother takes the sucessor's place (by the death of the actual Mothmask or the fight between the two brothers), they abandon their name and become Mothmask.- It's a very sexist clan. The she-cats are the last to eat, even if they are expecting or nursering kits. They only can eat first when they become elders (that is, only if the elder male cats have already eaten). This is because of the legend of the original Mothstar (Mothstar, the merciful), the last she-cat leader of Summerclan. In her leadership, a devasting shortage of prey let Summerclan almost to starve. Mothstar decided to starve herself, having your lives taking one by one, so she could focus on hunting and feeding the clan. Her sacrifice saved the clan, but it took all of her lives. Due to this, the she-cats in the clan are forced to be the last to eat as an tribute to Mothstar.I hope you guys like it! Mothmask's story is actually about learning how changes are necessary to survive. Later in his story, he manages to change his clan, dealing with lot of conservadorism tho.

God Must Hate Me || Frostpaw PMV Marinin 2023-04-23 | Warning: Spoilers of ASC arc and Blood/deathHey everyone!After some time off, I decided to work on some projects by myself.I really liked working on this PMV, it is a bit experimental, I love it tho.This is about Frostpaw's story until the most recent book, so it has tons of spoilers!I like Frostpaw, she's a character whose thoughts are more realistic imo. Her destiny was defined after she dreamed her father leaving her in the camp and then her father died. It could be an omen, or just a kid's nightmare. But it was sufficient for the clan to make her a medicine cat apprentice lmaoI loved her chapters in this last book. I really like when it shows how unrealistic is to leave the clan's destiny in an apprentice's hands and even some cats acknowledging it. Also, her new mentor, Hareflight, and her actually had a nice relationship.The perspective of the book when she is in a constant fear of making a false step and ruin everyone's lifen, as well as dealing with her own mistakes really touched me.But BRUH, Frostpaw can't be happy for a book. Quiet, shy and kind.Nightsky (the sillhouete cat) is a Winterclan warrior. Smart, ambicious and distrustful.Both are sisters that were close when they were little. However, Nightkit decides to wander during the night and sneaks inside the leader's den. She ends up eavesdropping a discussion between the medcat and the leader about a prophecy. The prophecy sounds to be about her and her sister. Nightkit is conflicted and misunderstands the conversation, letting her to be believe that her sister would betray her one day. Moonkit is pushed away by Nightkit without understanding why.As the days go by, Moonpaw is always teased by Nightpaw. This teasing led to a fight between the sisters. Moonpaw is chosen as a medicine cat apprentice in order to split the two and avoid these confrotations.As grown ups, the two don't speak to each other, however, Nightsky seems to be stalking Moonlight whenever she can. I've always seen mother maps that show about motherhood. This time, I wanted to show how similar and different the stories can get after generations goes by. How a mother had suffered in the past and your daughters had a similar fate. Or how different sisters can turn out to be. This MAP also shows some stories that pass through us as "background characters", but they are actually pretty interesting.This is a Split Screen MAP. It has some inspirations like The Angry River by Amelia B and Starclan's Chosen by Nifty-Senpai.I will take a bit more time to choose parts for this one (1 week). So take your time. There is no rush for it.Please, pay attention! Some parts are longer and some are shorter, but overall they are pretty short MAP parts so they can be completed within the deadline! Empty Churches - part 30 - Willowpaw Marinin 2022-08-05 | woah, me? posting a MAP part?unbelievable, right?I've been caught by life.When I wasn't on college stuff, I was sick. When I wasn't sick, I was unmotivated. When I was motivated, I just find any drawings or animations ok.and then art fight happenedBut yeyAbout this part:Willowpaw is a warrior apprentice and best friend of Applepaw. Since she can remember, she can see spirits. Although she can see them, she can't hear them. Willowpaw never bothered to tell Lightsong (her clan medicine cat) or Sunstar (her dad) about this fact. She didn't want to be a medcat and knew that if her secret was discovered, she would be sent to be a medicine cat.However, one day she was hunting and one spirit showed up. The spirit was a she-cat who had died some moons before Willowpaw was born, so she didn't know her. Even though Willowpaw couldn't hear what the spirit has to say, the apprentice angrily told it to leave her alone, as she doesn't want anything from Starclan. Unfortunately for our hot-tempered girl, Lightsong was gathering some herbs and heard everything what Willowpaw said (even though Lightsong couldn't see the spirit, she knew what was about).After that, Lightsong confronts Willowpaw for not telling this to her, as it could be a sign from Starclan of something important for the clan. After some argument, Lightsong decides she won't tell anyone if Willowpaw tells her about her spirit meetings.After Applepaw's death, Willowpaw is devastated and wouldn't talk to anyone. One night, Applepaw shows to Willowpaw, and this only time, she manages to talk with her. She then asks to Willowpaw to become a medcat apprentice and help this she-cat spirit she saw (the one from the video).Willowpaw attends her best (and until now, only) friend's request and accepts Lightsong's offer to become her apprentice.TLDR: willowpaw is a angry girl who sees spirits everytime and doesn't want to be a medcat.Thank you for reading this! Turning Out - AroAce MAP part 16 Marinin 2022-06-24 | I'm kinda happy with this part! it's been a while since I don't work with my oc's, and this time 3 new ocs have been shown!Plumheart (the she-cat with freckles) is Autumnclan medcat. She had a tough kithood. Her mother left their clan after her mate died, abandoning Plumkit. She was always a difficult kit, who was obsessed about mushrooms and all type of fungus, and hardly managed to make friends.As a full medcat, she starts to be friends with a kittypet, Cinnamon, who was rescued by her clanmates. Cinnamon admits her love to Plumheart, who also likes her dearly, but says they can't be together because she is aroace. Cinnamon doesn't understand her and is hurt by the rejection, which leads her to berate Plumheart and she ends up saying horrible things to her.Plumheart is left once again all by herself, remembering her trauma all over again and, this time, being hurt by one of the few cats who she was friends with.In the end, Whitepaw (her apprentice) and Lightsong find her.
