Donc je travaille chez Verdi Voyages ou je suis donc graphiste designer graphique. Donc on édite des catalogues. Bien évidemment, on a un site web et des catalogues avec le design. Et voilà ce qui m'est arrivé.Donc après avoir terminé une des brochures qui allait donc partir chez l'imprimeur, j'ai ouvert le fichier InDesign. J'ai lancé un PDF pour contrôle des pages d'intro. Et là, bon, ça s'est planté. Rien de dramatique, ça se plante toujours fréquemment.J'ai quitté InDesign, relancez InDesign. Ça va être dit que le fichier a été endommagé et donc j'ai cliqué sur Réparer comme ça se produit. Et là, il me dit que le fichier a été transféré sur les serveurs.Adobe SA m'a dit au bout d'un moment désolé, on ne peut pas réparer votre fichier. Le problème c'est que vous en avez pas de double. Que le fichier était terminé. Ce cas, une grosse brochure peut faire 90 pages. Donc j'ai commencé à paniquer.J'avais fait une mise à jour de InDesign, je l'ai supprimé, j'ai réinstallé la version précédente. Rien n'a changé. Après, j'ai appelé le tchat d'Adobe. Je suis tombé sur. J'ai passé à peu près 1 h avec le Tchad et l'on me disait de faire à peu près ce que j'avais déjà fait, c'est à dire downgrader InDesign et essayer.Bon, après m'ont dit, "Bon bah on va le déluge sur nos serveurs et on va voir ce qu'on peut faire. On vous donnera une réponse sous 24 h." Je me suis fait à peu près un peu d'illusion sur leur capacité ou le temps qui est consacré à ce doc. Et j'ai commencé à chercher sur le web s'il y avait d'autres solutions.J'ai rien trouvé de très probant et en j'ai navigué de forum en forums de plus en plus désespéré et je tombe sur un forum. Je ne me souviens plus si c'était américain ou anglais et ou un gars disait Ah mais il y a cette boîte Max Ware et dessert mal Life Documents Sauver la vie. Et je me suis dit Qu'est ce que je fais voir?Après, je me suis souvenu qu'effectivement dans le passé, c'est une boite qui fait des plugins. Pourquoi pouvoir? Xpress InDesign? Donc j'étais en confiance. Je me suis dit que c'était pas un truc bizarre et donc toute façon on ne prenait pas grand risque.Donc la société demande un forfait de 50 € pour examiner le fichier InDesign. Et après le forum, on tire le prix de la rue Covering of the fight. Le prix dépend du nom de Mega du fichier. Moi, c'est un fichier de 100 mega. C'était 100 100 € en plus. J'ai envoyé mon fichier à peu près., je ne sais pas vous dire, une demi heure après, j'ai reçu un mail de David ou le président de cette entreprise et qui m'a envoyé un pdf base def de mon document.J'ai pu voir qu'il avait récupéré, je ne sais pas, à 95 or 99% du fichier. On a payé les 100 € demandés et bien évidemment on a reçu le fichier dans la foulée et j'ai pu terminer le fichier et faire les ultimes corrections et l'envoyer chez l'imprimeur. Voilà donc moi je dis, pour toutes les personnes qui ont un problème avec un fichier InDesign endommagé, ça peut arriver. Faites leur confiance. Voilà, Merci beaucoup des historiens.La grande mise en page InDesign de Jacques, après un mois de travail, est devenue corrompue. Le fichier .indd s'est écrasé un jour et ne s'est jamais rouvert. Il a essayé de réparer avec Adobe, même avec leur équipe de support, mais rien n'a fonctionné. So, I click OK.On the morning, I've done an upgrade of InDesign Creative Cloud on the new MacBook, nothing worked. And then it says, "Oh, we are about to treat your InDesign page layout file on our servers, Click OK." OK. And then it says, "Oops, we cannot repair it. You will have to redo the project!"David Dilling: Was it also on a Monday morning?Jacques Dubuc: On the Monday morning? Exactly! So, what did I do? I just down-graded InDesign 2022 to my last version. We've done the process. Exact same thing, to open a chat with the technical services people of Adobe and just says the same, "Just downgrade." Try again and nothing happens. So, they told me to put my InDesign document, my damaged design file, on CreativeCloud and on the cloud. When I did, they said, "Oh, we will check it. We will have a fast answer, about 24 hours to check the file.o, I was afraid that they didn't check, because Adobe, I think has millions of customers. I don't think our job will be the priority. So, I began to search other solutions. So, I looked into the web about solutions for fixing the major corrupted InDesign problems. And I was browsing different industry forums for InDesign, like Reddit and Adobe's own forums. Mostly every person said the same things we can check, but nothing.And, then, I saw a post of a guy who said, "Oh, stop it. If you have this kind of problem, you can check Markzware! He saved my life! I remember your company, because, in the past, I was working with QuarkXPress. You already published plugins to convert InDesign to Quark, back then, and now Quark to InDesign. You basically can, but it does not remove the “style” that was then set for the blue, underlined text and what have you.
