Unmasked is probably my favorite personal project that I’ve ever done. Probably more than Cake and Fennal, Eeveelution Galaxy, Leaves From the Vine, and Reptile Rockefeller

(If you don’t know what those projects are, Cake and Fennal was a little side short animated series that is shorter than Unmasked, Eeveelution Galaxy is a graphic novel that has been on hiatus due to me redoing the story, Leaves of the Vine is the project I’m working on now, which is a chapter book, and Reptile Rockefeller is a new idea I came up with 3 months ago, however I’m still deciding to either make it a short series like Cake and Fennal, or a comic book like Eevelution Galaxy)

In this drawing, there is a lot of symbolism in this drawing. Like the reflection that has the lord in the lake show’s Ashanko’s calm, and wise side while the spirit behind him represents doubt, anxiety, anger, all that good stuff.

This project I’m doing for school however isn’t done, I still have 2 more drawings to do since this is just the first part. The beginning. I still have the end and middle to do, but I am planning to upload the speedpaints as well.

I figured I would do Unmasked for this since Unmaksed is a project I really love and I would like to share some art about it. Enjoy!

Btw this universe that Cake and Fennel live in, no humans exist. They are the humans.

But yeah! New character! The character used for the animation is Fennel. Isn’t he such a precious boy?
