Have little forest dates. Kenku gf is actually part of a major thieves guild and is trying to use OC to gain access to an important Raven Queen Relic. It works. OC sneaks her gf into the compound, taking her right to the relic to show it to her and boom! Days later OC wakes up to temple on fire. She barely escapes before whole thing is engulfed.Thieves guild gets the relic, OC knows GF betrayed her, and now she’s left to pick up da pieces. Rivers in the Dust // Brackenfur & Dustpelt PMV (BLOOD WARNING) bleachwaffle 2022-04-02 | Love my background char construction widows 💕💕💕Started this months back for funsies, literally cranked out almost all of it in the week I started and left it sitting for MONTHS until I decided to finish up the like 4 scenes I was missing 😅This song got me thinking 'bout them sweet sweet background characters. I can't say they're my fav Thunderclan npcs but they had a bunch of really good interactions with each other.SPOILERS BELOW FOR BRAMBLESTAR'S STORM:Had these two scenes floatin' round in my head:Dustpelt dies via badger attack and thunderclan gets beat to heck bc of flooding. Brackenfur feels insecure about leading den reconstruction, bc he was so used to doing it with Dustpelt.Dustpelt in his last moments isn't upset to die bc sees Ferncloud and all the kits he lost.Idk, it's easy to tell Dust and Bracken are friends but Dustpelt after the death of Fearncloud felt so much emptier to me, as though he couldn't cope. Whereas Brackenfur, who also had a profound loss, continued to move forward. He also loses Seedkit and Bramblestar's storm, an added loss to losing his mate.I like to think they'd grieve together as friends who understand each other's pain, but whereas Brackenfur's coping, Dustpelt is not, going through the motions of duties but lost in his past and memories of Ferncloud.So this is kind of the result of those ideas :3cIdk, at the time, I just wanted something to work on at my own pace, with sketches and easy backgrounds so it didn't turn into an overwhelming project! 5 MAP Parts (For Me!) 2021 Edition [Warriors, Yugioh, Hades, Ocs] bleachwaffle 2022-01-07 | Time stamp to skip flashing: 1:43Moral of this upload is that I host too many MAPs xDAll of these parts came from projects I hosted this year :D I've been collecting 'em mostly because as a host, it feels kind of weird uploading MAP parts for my own MAPs, which will also be posted on my channel. This is especially so if I know the MAP is posting super soon, which was the case with most of the parts I made for my MAPs this year!So as a result of all this, I ended up with a handful of MAP Parts that were posted straight to completed MAP, but weren’t featured individually on my channel. The map palette didn't require it, but I noticed the call had a painty texture and I never really get to use gritty brushes so I shaded with the dry gouche brush in CSP and had lotsa fun :DALSO REALLY COOL IS THAT I DIDNT EDIT THIS ALL IN IMOVIE!!!!!! Those sweet sweet wiggles? Done in Final Cut Pro. I've had it on my computer since February and I've been slowly messin with stuff here n there and I think I have a p solid idea at this point how to tackle parts!!! And *TECHNICALLY* I haven't reached it in my GX rewatch yet (I finally hit season 3) BUT I have watched the duel and it HURTS!!!! Fubuki feels guilt over having been unable to save Fuji from the darkness and sacrifices himself to take Fuji out with him so they'd die together (which feels extra loaded for a GX episode damn???). But it turns out it was Fuji's dark magic like invading Fubuki's mind and bringing out the regret he feels about his and the reality is he ends up losin the duel on his own. Which I don't count as spoilers bc this series aired in from 2004-2008 xDBut anyway this part is base doff of that scene Fubuki thought happened, where he apologizes to Fujiwara and reaches out as he plays a card that'll wipe 'em both out. Added that small scene in the beginning of two of them bein pals b4 all the stuff went downI love Fubuki sm, he's my fav GX character right behind Manjoume!!! Big-hearted doofTechnically this map was a 72hr one but I SNAPPED and blasted this out in less than 24!! Was really feelin it and had a lot of fun!!!! [BAD LANGUAGE] Get Over It Part 12 // 72 hr MAP // Mewgioh bleachwaffle 2021-07-09 | For this MAP (PARTS STILL OPEN AND SO CLOSE TO BEING DONE) youtube.com/watch?v=7-8pUBxvQgk&t=0s&ab_channel=EtherealFlickerAlright so I FINALLY got to the Egypt Rewind part of my Yu-Gi-Oh duel monsters rewatch where Bakura and Atem go back in time and replay the events of the past and like tbh, IT IS BONKERS!!!! Easily the best arc Yugioh had in Duel Monsters. One of the things I found so impactful was TK Bakura absolutely blowing the head off of Slifer. He whole-ass beheads god like kfdvnksdfnvdnvksdfnkvf!!!! So this part alludes to that standoff. Bakura being snarky king, Slifer getting sliced, and ofc the loss of Slifer taken from Atem's life force.That being said, I can't say I really like this part?? Which for me is super uncommon. I love all the work I produce when I see it in post but this part totally kicked my ass. I particularly dislike the first part with Bakura and the last image of Atem. They feel ugly and overworked.I always considered Bakura a hairless cat (minus his head hair ofc) and when I went to work to illustrate that, I really struggled. The Bakura you see is a product of over a dozen different attempts. He's been reworked over and over and over again and I feel like bc I disliked how he came out, I over compensated in the editing, which looks both awkward and over tweened. Idk. I didn't want to hold the part up more than I had (I took double the time fjdvbsdjvbsdf) and there's a point with quick paced MAPs where you just gotta let go. So that's what I did. Not to fully rag on myself, bc I am really proud not only of how Slifer came out, but also how I edited the lyrics themselves. I usually keep my text stationary but tweening it left more of an impact I think!Anyway, this map is COOL AS HELL!!!!!! It was so cool experimenting with the full black "shading". I used mind to blend my chars into the background a bit more and give harsher shaped. It was a neat process!!!ANYWHO, RANT ASIDE!!!!! GOTTA THANK ETHEREAL FOR BEING SUCH A PATIENT POST!!!! I'm really glad the movie expanded upon that grief; I feel like it was something we were robbed of when Duel Monsters was airing. Atem was such a major part of Yugi and it makes sense his absence is deeply felt and deeply grieved!BUT YEAH!!!! This part was so healing for me. I whipped it out in a couple days, and had hella fun doing it. Sometimes you don't realize just how much time goes into making detailed bgs, shading, and doing fancy tweening until you don't have to do all that! This part was the fastest I've done in a while, and caused no stress!!!Cat-wise, I HC Yugi as an Exotic Shorthair and Atem as a Persian. The reflection in the water is usually where med cats get their visions. I got to draw new-ish born kittens which is a bonus!!----------------------------------------This part features my medicine cat OC, Fogfrost (white cat) and a rogue I can't be bothered to name! Fog's story is sprinkled all throughout this channel but the basic background is that his leader goes nuts, forcing the cats of the clans to fight in constant wars against the other clans. There are tons of deaths and eventually w/ a dwindling warrior population, Fog's leader gets help from a group of rogues that now stay on the territory.They're merciless and vicious and his clan is slowly turning into the survival of the fittest type of deal.Because ALL cats must fight, the clan's elder population was wiped out, as well as the apprentice and queen populations (for the most part). Despite being pregnant or having newborn kits, queens are still expected to fight, and quite often, this translates into orphaned kits. Knowing they will die, Fogfrost sneaks em out of camp, and hands them off to his friend/medicine cat of another clan, Stonecurl. If he is ever caught and the others were told, he'd be killed and the chances of seeing his clan out of this darkness will be impossile.So Fogfrost has been extra sneaky. But in his storyline he gets caught twice. This part references one of those instances.
