🍎GOOD LUCK, BABE! | Corrupted Kin PMV🪷 spookypaws 2024-07-17 | HIII SOOO LONG TIME NO SEE LOL.. ive been very busy lately, ive been working a lot and also recovering from a trip so my art hasnt been very abundant latelyBUT MY THOUGHTS ABOUT MY WC OCS ARE ALWAYS HERE!!!I’ve been wanting to do a video about these two characters for some time now, and this song made me get up and GOOOOI’ve shown Appleclaw before but I’ve never shown her secret gay lover nor have i shown a different side to her character other than manipulative and narcissistic LOL These two have a lengthy history, briefly summed up in the video, but i will give more background here as well. Appleclaw is a Cliffclan warrior, meanwhile Lousblossom (the white and gray she cat) is a Hollyclan warrior. The two start out as friends, but those eventually turn into stolen glances, which turn into very real feelings for each other. Appleclaw is the great great granddaughter of Birdstar, the main villain of my story. Birdstar is obsessed with power, and even in death, tries to spread his influence and reign throughout all the clans via his kin. Appleclaw had no interest in having kits or taking on a male mate until Birdstar manipulated her into doing exactly that. Appleclaw begins a family with her fellow clanmate, and even takes on a male mate from Hollyclan (in efforts to be more like her grandfather), but in doing so she leaves Lotusblossom completely in the dark. Appleclaw denies any feelings that might have transpired, even when Lotusblossom just being in the same room is enough to call Appleclaw’s bluff. These are some of my og characters in this story, going all the way back to 2017 and I'm honestly surprised at how the story has stuck. This video explored Bumblefrost and Turtlewing, two brothers from GorseClan who were torn apart by an unseen evil force. As tensions rise between the five clans, Bumblefrost becomes the leader of the AsterClan rebels, and stops at nothing to make the clans pay for... reasons I'll get to later LOLLLLL. In this video, obviously Bumblefrost commits the ultimate crime, to which Turtlewing watches in horror. I got covid during the last week of my winter break, and I figured “hey, I still like this board, and I love this story, let me make myself useful and finish it!” I’ve also not introduced these characters to this extent, so this felt like a good excuse to do so!The main focus of this video, Quickstorm, is the daughter of Birdstar, the infamous antagonist of Corrupted Kin. She is best friends with Lilyfall, another warrior of TideClan. Quickstorm is head over heels in love with Lilyfall, and instead bears feelings for Quickstorms brother, Currentclaw (cheesy story I know, but I love them shut up). As time passes, Quickstorm stays by Lilyfall’s side, until she suddenly dies after giving birth to Currentclaw’s son, Reedkit. Quickstorm falls deep into grief and can barely even bear to be around Reedkit, who looks just like his father, with his mother’s kindness. During this video, she reminisces of her time with Lilyfall, and comes to the conclusion that Reedkit is the only family she has, but Quickstorm has to give the effort (Currentclaw also can’t bring himself to be near his son during his kithood, especially now that Lilyfall is gone)Want to follow the story so far? beach song | corrupted kin pmv | codstar and mothshade spookypaws 2023-11-22 | i whipped this up in like 2 hours the power of these characters is insaneCodfrost and Mothshade are some of my favorite characters to talk about because of the complexity and the rise and fall of their tragic and doomed relationship. I'm going to keep it brief because I could literally go on forever, this story spans over twenty years, but I'm hoping as I get more motivation to finish more videos, more pieces will fall into place.synopsis: filling in the wholes of my "I'm just your problem" animatic, this video takes place after the groups of HollyClan and TideClan have sought out to find mullein to help cure the rampant spread of yellow cough. Although the groups were successful, and the sickness finally letting up, tensions could not be higher between Mothshade, HollyClan’s deputy, and Codfrost, TideClan’s new official deputy resulting after the previous had died during their expedition. Formerly half-clan lovers, the two cannot see eye to eye. Even after being separated, the middle ground between them has crumbled into ash. Since Codfrost has lineage to one of the most despicable cats to have existed, Birdstar, she finds herself amongst the cats of the Withered Willows (my version of the Dark Forest), and trains among her clanmates, and (unknown to her) her own kin. One of the highest honors is to be trained by Birdstar himself, which Codfrost has received for her powerful battle skills and cold demeanor. Little by little, Birdstar strips any good qualities from Codstar, turning any goodness into lust for power. This begins to drive a wedge between Moth and Cod, with Moth not even recognizing the cat she fell in love with anymore. This leads to Moth being the one to break the relationship off. This sets Cod into a spiral. The feeling of betrayal is almost too much to bear for her. Now that Birdstar has gripped his claws into her fur, she will obey his every command. Every command. Flash forward -- Codfrost is now Codstar, preceding her own mother, Coralstar in leadership. Birdstar refuses to train beside leaders or train them in general due to the power they are given when they become leaders (and out of pride). Codstar is now all alone. With Mothshade dead, and most of her family in TideClan also dead, she finds herself on the beach she and Mothshade met and spent many nights together. I'm actually really happy with how this turned out, let alone that I was actually able to finish this. I have so many more characters to give attention to, and the characters in this video are one of my favorites that I've created.Context:Codfrost is a respected warrior of TideClan. She is the daughter of Coralstar and Reedfrost, a descendant of the cruel leader Birdstar, and has become viscous and short-tempered recently, causing the downfall of her half-clan relationship with the HollyClan deputy Mothshade. As yellow cough runs rampant through both HollyClan and TideClan, and the only herb known to cure it is mullein, which has disappeared even in the fields of AsterClan. As cats continue to get sick and die, both leaders have called upon one of their medicine cats and their deputy to go searching for this herb. Since TideClan’s deputy has become sick with this illness, Codfrost insists she goes with her medicine cat brother, Steamrock. Upon meeting up with the HollyClan group, Codfrost is shocked to find her ex, Mothshade, who has since become HollyClan deputy, accompanying Feathernose, the HollyClan medicine cat. They are eventually able to find the mullein needed to save the clans, but first, these two she-cats have to get over their petty, bitter breakup feelings to focus on the task at hand. 🩸 MAMA’S BOY | Corrupted Kin Animation Meme | Darkash 🩸 spookypaws 2023-10-04 | This was not the Darkash lore video I wanted to do BUT I had more motivation to finish this one so HERE YA GO!!!I’ve been pretty vague about this character so far.. mostly because his story is one of my more interesting ones, I feel. So quick rundown:Darkash is the son of Frondstone and Ashwhisker. Ashwhisker is WindClan’s medicine cat, who was forced into this role due to the previous medicine cat’s vision of bloodshed, should Ashwhisker become a warrior. Flash forward, the previous medicine cat has passed and the result of Ashwhisker and Frondstone’s affair is Darkkit and Finchkit. As Darkkit grows up, he has an infatuation with becoming medicine cat, like his father (Darkkit is unaware of his true paternal figure). As Darkpaw is under Ashwhisker’s training as medicine cat, Ashwhisker gets the same vision the previous medicine cat got of him. Though it confuses him on why the vision he is seeing is himself. The further into the vision, however, Ashwhisker sees this is in fact his son, Darkpaw, covered in blood and surrounded by cat-killing herbs. Horrified, Ashwhisker strips Darkpaw of his medicine cat apprentice title and is forced to become a warrior. Darkpaw eventually becomes the warrior Darkash, who is easily top in his clan for his skill. Darkash had been so focused on being a good warrior, terrified that this role would be stripped from him as well, that the cats of the Dark Forest easily sink their teeth into him and turn him from bitter to a corrupt killer. ❌ DIGITAL SILENCE | CORRUPTED KIN ANIMATION MEME ❌ spookypaws 2023-06-15 | WOOOO FINALLY GOT AROUND TO DOING SOME LORE!! These characters have been around since before I even started posting on this channel, so i think sharing with y’all the hours I’ve put into their story is way past dueExpect much more corrupted kin content in the future!SYNOPSIS:this closely follows my part I did for Total Insecurity, in which it follows Apricotstar getting visited by a mysterious cat named Whitewillow, and he tells her about how he manipulated her father, Birdstar, to cause all the harm to her and the clans. She instantly thinks back to when Birdstar killed her mother, Rootshine, assuming Whitewillow led her father to do that as well. She then has a vision of her father and several other cats all covered in blood, some of which look and feel oddly familiar. The final cat she sees is the most gruesome: her niece, Bloompaw. However, this version of her is covered in scars, and has vastly more blood than the others. A short while after this vision, she has a meeting with her brother, Honeypelt, and her ShadowClan sister, Solarshine. She explains to them how she believes it’s dangerous for them to be having kits, because of Birdstar and his legacy, and she believes that his influence will spread between bloodlines, indirectly causing Birdstar’s plan to fall into place. From there an argument ensues between the siblings, driving a steak between them. This also causes a rift between Apricotstar and her niece and nephew. Especially her niece, Bloompaw. It involved my main oc in this video: Ferretnose. It’s been (almost) four years since that video, and needless to say there has been some changes to her story. Not many, but a decent amount to show my growth. I was a freshman in highschool when i made my first video, which I’ll link below, and now I’m a freshman in college. Time’s crazy.Anyways, I’ll give a small updated synopsis here, but the full, detailed synopsis can also be found on the old video. Also this piece of my story is very small and pretty self-explanatory Ferretnose is the daughter of Tansybreeze and Viperclaw. Along with her brother, Birchclaw, the twins were raised solely by their father, Viperclaw. As Ferretnose grew up, she also grew in fear of her absent mother. Tansybreeze is also involved in a secret rebellion against the clans, something Ferretnose had been dragged into as well by her brother to show off to their mother. This PMV first starts off with Ferretnose having a conversation with Pinefur, one of her clanmates Ferretnose had grown close to. Being in the rebellion doesn’t give the siblings the chance to show off to their mother, it only makes her resent them more. Eventually, when Ferretnose becomes a mother herself, she feels regret. Why am I like This? | Part 15 | Personal spookypaws 2022-08-23 | Fun fact I have two MAP parts with this song. It’s such a good song and I’m a huge fan of the Heartstopper web series and the show on Netflix. I think it’s pretty accurate with how hard it can be for a young person to struggle with their sexuality.I usually don’t like putting personal or deep stuff like this out there unless I’m really proud of it, but this map part helped me move on with a lot of conflicting feelings about Highschool. Aka. Being queer in Highschool was not fun for me. around Sophomore year I started having conflicting feelings about myself and kept trying to tell myself I wasn’t gay. A few weeks before my school shut down because of Covid, I took the infamous “are you gay test”. I got 72% and cried that night😍😍😍😍. I kept shoving those feelings off to the side until I gradually started accepting myself more. My senior year is when I finally felt comfortable being out as a lesbian at school. I’m not out at home yet so it was a way to be myself and interact with people like me. However, I got many comments like “well, you just need to find the right guy” and “what you like girls or something?” and the fan favorite “im fine that ur gay, just don’t have a crush on me”. It hurt at first, for sure, and it didn’t help with my comphet, but now looking back, it makes me more confident.
