This trio of body slides sends guests twisting and turning all the way down the side of Mount Mayday and under the supervision of Miss Tilly. Guests can choose to ride the Rudder Buster, Stern Burner and the Jib Jammer. If you're looking for a fun speed slide while enjoying a day at Typhoon Lagoon, this is a great option and a little less intense than Humunga Kowabunga which is right next door to the Storm Slides. Crush n Gusher | Disneys Typhoon Lagoon Beyond the Kingdoms 2019-08-09 | One of the best water slides at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is Crush n Gusher. This water-coaster opened up at the park in 2005 and features not one but three slides! When an a fruit processing factory was left abandoned for a couple of years, the residents of Typhoon Lagoon decided to convert the conveyor belts that once transported crates of food into water slides. Guest can enjoy Pineapple Plunger and Banana Blaster by riding with a friend on a double inner-tube or ride solo on Coconut Crusher. All three slides drop off at the Hideaway pool where guests can hop off grab a tube and go for a second round. Runoff Rapids | Disneys Blizzard Beach Beyond the Kingdoms 2019-06-08 | Grab a tube and head down all three slides that are part of Runoff Rapids at Disney's Blizzard Beach. These slides are part of the park's red slope and located on the backside of Mount Gushmore. The two outer slides at Runoff Rapids are open and guests will be sent zig-zagging all the way down the mountain surrounded by pine trees and less snow-covered slopes. The middle slide is completely enclosed in the dark, making it feel extra fast and extra intense. All three slides have no height restrictions so everyone can get in on the fun. Disney World Characters | Kevin from Up Beyond the Kingdoms 2019-05-30 | Kevin has arrived to Disney's Animal Kingdom. This free roaming character experience can be found at Discovery Island, in the heart of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Kevin roams around the land periodically throughout the day without any set times. She will somewhat stop and pose for pictures, but you never really know what she might do. She is a fantastic addition to the park and adds a sense of street-mosphere that we've not previously seen at this park. At the very end of Sunset Blvd, guests can now find Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy at Sunset Showcase. This 10-minute show takes guests on a quick spin on the racing simulator to see what it takes to become a Piston Cup champion like McQueen. Along the way, you'll see Mater, Cruz Ramirez, Chick Hicks and a few other characters from the film franchise. Just outside Sunset Showcase, guests can once again meet Cruz Ramirez in a fun photo-spot and dance to DJ's Ready! Set! Party Time! Dance Party.
