Walt Disney Worlds Polynesian Village Resort - Time lapse Sunrise Itsme 2015-05-10 | I spent a week at Walt Disney World's Polynesian Village Resort shooting video for a new documentary on Disney Super Fans and that mysterious Disney magic that seems to electrify everyone who visits here. The Polynesian is my favorite of all Disney resorts and I was lucky enough to have a room right on the Seven Seas Lagoon. A Memorial Tribute to our Dear Beloved Chi Chi Itsme 2020-07-11 | Chi Chi (Don Cheech) was the best dog anyone could ever ask for. He was loyal, sweet and always happy to see you. For a Chihuahua, he never barked unless he was startled and loved to have his belly rubbed. His health began to decline over a few months through bouts of diarrhea, and vomiting but he always rebounded. This time though, his heart murmur was getting so bad that he had a hard time doing the things he loved like going outside and peeing on every blade of grass. We tried treating him for heart disease but nothing seemed to work and after he stopped eating, we knew it was time to set his spirit free. It was the hardest decision my daughter Jana and I ever had to make because we knew once he was gone, we would never have him again. We love you sweet boy!Born: August 13, 2005Died: June 16, 2020

Unisphere Time Lapse Sunset - 1964-1965 Worlds Fair Grounds, Queens, New York Itsme 2015-01-19 | Commissioned to celebrate the beginning of the space age, the Unisphere was conceived and constructed as the theme symbol of the 1964–1965 New York World's Fair. Arriving at the Queens museum on an extremely cold January day, it took my breath away as I caught my first real glimpse of the iconic Unisphere. It's visible from nearly everywhere in the park. It's kinda like walking into Walt Disney Worlds Epcot. Epcot itself was heavily influenced by the Worlds fair and was where Walt Disney himself got a chance to test out some of his new ideas. It's surreal standing in front of this legendary icon. I felt like I was transported back in time, thinking what it must have been like to experience all the pavilions and energy from this amazing place. I felt wondrously childlike, similar to how I feel when I walk into Walt Disney World. This time lapse sunset of the Unisphere captures the serenity of peace on Earth all while spurring new ideas of the future... ENJOY!

Disney Magic Kingdoms Ragtime Piano Player Jim Itsme 2014-12-17 | I always love hanging out with Jim and listening to him play and interact with guests. Just a couple of weeks ago I was there and asked if he knew Sweet Gypsy Rose an old rag by Tony Orlando and Dawn. He did not know the tune off the top of his head but after I hummed a couple of bars, the gears kicked in and he started playing it. Amazing the talent of this guy. Next time you are in the Magic Kingdom, stop my and say hi to Jim... he will chew your ear off and play whatever you like!

Walt Disney World Polynesian Resort about to go under major renovation Itsme 2014-04-09 | I just spent a glorious week at the WDW Polynesian resort. 3 days before my trip, I got a letter from Disney indicating they would be under major renovation during my stay. I was not a happy camper, but it turned out the renovations would not begin till the week after I left. They will blow out the center island so that guests can get a clear view of bay lake after entering the resort's front entrance. Capt Cooks quick service will be relocated under the stairs at the current resort staff's break room during the construction . Wyland Galleries is gone. Aside from all that, they have just completed room renovations which are gorgeous and the DVC cabanas are going up at the far end of the beach... everything looks amazing!WDW has only done 1 major renovation to the Polynesian resort since it opened in 1971. This is the 2nd major renovation. I documented how everything looked so we can remember the past and embrace what great things are to come in the future... ENJOY!!
