got a bit to say about this one, ive been formulating ideas for a homestar runner mod or song or. something fnf and homestar runner related for YEARS now since im a huge homestar runner fan but none of them have never quite led to anything, whether it just be me feeling like i didnt hit the quality i shouldve or me just not knowing the right people to help with things like art and animation ive never really been able to get any of these ideas off the ground
not too long ago tho i came up with the idea for a one-shot based on the sbemail rampage (i originally came up with the idea for another mod but pretty quickly decided to make it its own thing) and the sudden rush of inspiration got me to learn how to use flash, meaning that i had all my bases covered and that i could finally make the homestar mod i had always wanted to
im incredibly proud of how this song and this mod turned out,, song wise i think this is the best ive gotten the homestar runner vibe, i think trying to replicate that style as best i could while also adding my own personal flourishes was probably the best move i couldve made, and im also incredibly proud of the other aspects i did for the mod as well!! my sprites for this mod were some of my first ever pieces of animation in flash and i think they turned out really well,, overall im really proud of myself that i was able to get this done c:

a little bit of backstory behind this one, my friend sophie was looking for some more people to help with jash and i wanted to help out and i got to do the song for fileguy,, i spent a bit of time trying to figure out a funny gimmick for the song (i was originally considering just having it constantly change genres) until i came up with the funny idea to have the inst be completely acapella and once i found a good time to record like. a month later i went for it and made this in about a day
honestly this song is (as the name suggests) SUPER dinky and stupid sounding but like. i kinda love it,, the composition is kinda repetitive and not something id be comfortable with if it had nothing else going for it but i think the acapella gimmick is fun enough to where i kinda just dont care, pretty happy that i tried something new for this one :3

not much to say about this one, cupcake (the director of the mod) was looking for a composer on the team to help do some music for the mods official website and i volunteered and ended up making all of this in about a day, just in time for the mods april fools update
aside from the homepage music (which was made by effects) the entire soundtrack of the website was made by me and is included in this video, admittedly these songs arent anything crazy, just some loops that are meant to play as bg music on the different pages of the website (they're all pretty short which is why they're all apart of one video) but im really happy with how they turned out, i think i nailed the vibe i was going for and i'd say that my work here actually overshadows my work on the actual mod in terms of quality (mainly because tricolor treats is half a year old)

a bit of backstory behind this one, this song was originally made for a one-shot being made by a friend of mine (a rematch between red and green from vs. impostor) but they decided they wanted to bring someone else on for the project instead, so i finished up this version of the song and now im releasing it as just a standalone thing
prob the most glaring thing about this song is how different it is from vs impostor, which is intentional, the art style for the song back when it was being made for the one-shot was pretty different from the main week stuff from vs. impostor so i tried to make the song different in that way as well (most notably through regular chromatics as opposed to the typical impostor chromatic used in the mod) and once it became its own thing i kinda just ran with that
tbh im pretty happy with this one, i wouldnt call it my best work but i had a lot of fun with it and i think i nailed the vibe i wanted for it so i'd say im pretty proud of it c:

so this has been a long time coming really, ourple flipside has been cancelled for months now just due to me being kinda sick of it (literally sick in some cases i worked myself to the point of being sick) and i've been putting off uploading shit for it just because i didnt really care enough, but seeing as ourple is officially 2 years old now i figured now would be a good time to post the only good song i did for the mod
tbh im kinda split on how to feel about this song, its pretty old and i think compositionally its pretty good but it kinda suffers the same problem a lot of my work from my ourple era has (WAAAY too much high end)

finally back to uploading new stuff after being burnt out for like. 2 months straight, and what better way to come back than doing a brand new concept song
this was kinda just a song i made on a whim, i had recently rewatched beta64's luigi's mansion video and i figured it would be fun to try and replicate the first game's music style and eventually it turned into an fnf thing and now we're here
i honestly think that this is the proudest i've ever been of one of my songs, i feel like everything just clicked how i wanted it to and everything turned out exactly how i wanted, especially when it comes to recreating the luigi's mansion music style c:

surprised its taken me so long to start doing these again but i found some time to work on a song that isn't mod related, this time being a fanmade d-side remix of one of my personal favorite fnf songs, strategy guide
i remember listening to this song back when it came out almost two years ago (its crazy how long its been) and i loved it, and recently i wanted to try and make my own take on it and this is what shook out
i ended up making a design first, with the idea being that scott would be a comic book collector rather than a game collector and i think that was a really unique idea and im proud of it
and honestly im really proud of this remix too, i think this is one of, if not the first time i really got a handle on how to do a d-sides remix and overall im really proud of myself for how this turned out

not much to say about this one, i was approached by fidy (the director and charter of this mod) to do a guy remix for a one-shot based on some fanmade ourple sprites made by vibewithgalaxy (the artist for this mod) and i agreed
i tried to approach this more like a reimagining of the original song (much like how the sprites are a sort of reimagining of the original mods art) and i think i did a pretty good job of that, i also sprinkled a few fnaf references in here as well and considering i made this in about a day im pretty proud of how this song turned out

to be entirely honest here i really dont like this song, its got a lot of things that i dont like about it and overall i dont think i did a good enough job combined the orchestral instrumentation of batim with the midi instrumentation of baldis basics, i might remake it at some point just to see if i can execute the idea a bit better

this is the first song i did for the retake, i was invited onto the team by weirdenned (the director who i've worked with in the past) to do a few songs and i thought it would be fun so i agreed
i had a lot of fun with this one, admittedly im not a big fan of the og bob mod so being able to reimagine it (more specifically the music) in a way that i personally enjoy was super fun
my favorite part of doing this song was easily trying to incorporate memes and meme references in a way that meshes with the rest of the song instead of just being shoehorned in (also i checked and there are 17 memes hidden/not really hidden in this song, if anyone's able to find them all i'll pin your comment or something :3)
