First Time at Chuck E Cheese! Jason Urgo 2023-09-02 | In today's video I take Kyle, Jake, and Harlie to their first Chuck E Cheese Experience! When we got there I wasn't sure what to do exactly, get the unlimited play cards or buy tokens. I picked the unlimited play cards but doubted my pick right away.. until we started playing. Wow, this place was intense! The kids kept going from game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game to game!Also to note, the Gluten Free pizza wasn't bad!The only complaint I had was this location didn't include a play structure to climb on, but as it turns out we didn't need that! Also, not pictured in the video since we had already wrapped it up, the kids DID get some sweets and then ran around playing for another 30 mins w/o even needing any game passes!Fun was had by all :)PS: If you're still reading and were wondering about the bandage on my head, Jonah clocked me with a block a few days earlier and got me really good. Walkin At The Zoo With Jonah Jason Urgo 2023-06-01 | For the past several months I've been wanting to take Jonah to the zoo but for whatever reason it never happened. Today we fixed that! Jonah, now 10 months old was more interested in the other zoogoers rather then the animals, but I have a feeling the more we come back here that will change. The zoo has an under 2 is free policy which makes me think that you kind of need to be 2 to really appreciate things. Jonah Goes To The Park! Jason Urgo 2022-09-10 | It's been hot in North Carolina ever since Jonah was born. Today though the weather was finally nice enough to take a long walk at a park with a lake that you can walk around! Jonah did pretty good. It was a lot of new experiences for him and I think that combined with needing a nap caused him to conk out towards the end, ironically right about where Ender did the first time I brought him here too!Also while filming, I made note that back in 2010 I filmed a video to be included in "Life in a Day" (though was not picked). Ender Update - Is He Getting Better??? Jason Urgo 2022-07-19 | UPDATE: Ender had a couple of really good days starting with right when this video was filmed but sadly lost his battle at about 12:45am July 22nd ;(It's been over a week since we first brought Ender to the vet and still hadn't heard back any results from the sample they took. I had called several times but nothing. Over the past couple of days though we noticed a couple of copperheads in the driveway and via some of the local social media groups heard of many more in the area. So today, I just headed over to the vet with Ender and asked them their thoughts.As it turns out, the results had just come in and they were inconclusive. They did think it could be cancer, but also that it could be an infection (from perhaps a bee or a spider). My thoughts are is it probably is a mix of both but the immediate threat is the infection.I was sent home about 1 1/2 hours before filming this video with an antibiotic which he already took the first dose of and somehow already seems to be doing better. First Glimpse of My Baby! 👶36w 6d Growth Ultrasound🧒Adoption Journey Jason Urgo 2022-07-14 | In today's video we are one day shy of 37 weeks into this pregnancy on our adoption journey and I finally got to attend an ultrasound! It. Was. So. Cool! It was surreal looking at his little.. okay big lol face and seeing him wave his arms around!Our baby boy is estimated to weigh 7lbs 4oz currently plus or minus about a pound. He's somewhere around the 67th percentile in weight and a whopping 99th percentile in head size. WOW! Ender is Not OK 😟 Jason Urgo 2022-07-12 | Over the past few days Ender has been having a really hard time breathing. It started during the heat wave in NC where the 'feels like' temp was over 110F so I didn't think too much of it and at that point he was just panting a lot. Since then though its become obvious there is more going on. Over the weekend I noticed what felt like a baseball on his throat and over the weekend it went from just panting to almost like daytime snoring.. basically meaning he's having a hard time breathing.We went to the vet and the good news was it didn't look like the vet first thought. Ender's lungs weren't as bad as expected, and though his liver did come back enlarged (pushing on his lungs and stomach) thus far at least it looks like the caner might be contained to his throat, potentially thyroid cancer. Also its not confirmed to be cancer yet, but the vet is pretty sure (pending lab results).Basically at this point the idea is to try to let him relax as much as he can. When he starts refusing food (ok if.. he's a lab..) or more to the point, if its clear that he's never able to relax and seems to be in pain its time.. but we're not there yet. The doctor seemed to think he had weeks rather then months.. so we'll see how things go. Personally I'd really like him to meet the baby, but I know at the end of the day I need to do what's right for him and not make him suffer to make that happen. Kyles Adventure | Mini Golf, Laser Tag, Go Karts and more! Jason Urgo 2022-07-11 | Today we took Kyle (one of Nikki, the person we're adopting the baby from's kids) out for a special day at Adventure Landing in Raleigh. We played mini golf, arcade games, go karts, and a whole bunch of laser tag games and Kyle had an absolute blast! Since the mother we're adopting the baby from (Nikki) isn't from North Carolina today but is with us now to have the baby, today was the first doctor's appointment I actually got to go to! SpaceX Falcon Heavy STP2 🚀 Launch Day 🛰️ Jason Urgo 2019-06-29 | This past week I was honored to be invited by NASA Social to watch SpaceX launch the Falcon Heavy for the STP-2 mission. STP2 which stands for Space Test Program and was needed to demonstrate that the Falcon Heavy works before getting being approved for more sensitive projects.The best part about the whole launch though was getting to meet the scientists whose projects went up on the Falcon Heavy. This was a two day trip and in this video, day 2. One of the most touching questions was when the scientists were asked how big of a deal this really was for them since they each spent the last 5-10 years working towards today. The DSAC project will perform a year-long demonstration in space. The new DSAC timepiece will use mercury ions to provide a measure of time that is stable to better than one microsecond per decade. It will provide the time and frequency stability needed for the next generation of deep space navigation and radio science missions, and potentially for future GPS satellites. This technology promises to improve the quality and flow of mission data by enabling a shift to a more flexible radio navigation architecture, freeing precious communications bandwidth currently reserved for navigation. DSAC is a partnership between NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate and the Space Communications and Navigation program office, a program under the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate. Tesla Annual Service ► Tesla Model S Service What To Expect Jason Urgo 2016-09-23 | One of the many awesome things about the Tesla is you only need to get it serviced about once a year and having had the car just shy of a year now and hitting 15,000 miles it was time! The whole process was so much better then you'd expect normally too. I went in, there was no long line, I told them my name and gave them my key, they handed me a loaner Tesla key, and I was on my way. A couple hours later they called me up and told me things were ready and we went back to get the car!It was also cool because this was the first time I actually saw a Tesla Model X in person. I have the S and the X came out at the very end of last year but still are not that widespread. Format Change Jason Urgo 2016-07-30 | I've been vlogging every even day since the beginning of April and it's been a lot of fun! Other then maybe a couple videos where not too much happened I've been really happy with how each and every one of them turned out. That said, three out of the four months the Our Twin Life family has also been living with me and I'm in all of their daily vlogs as well so a large part of the content on the two channels was very similar. Since they're not going to be leaving any time soon I've decided to at least for the time being scale down on the number of videos uploaded on this channel. Scaling back will also allow me some more time to keep building up Social Blade, help build up the OurTwinLife channel, and focus on the most important parts of life, family.Though my schedule is now turning to a new video every Saturday I'd say there is a good chance there will be bonus videos often throughout the week as things arise. 💪 Pokemon Go Gym Battle Rage 👾 Jason Urgo 2016-07-16 | Today was our third heavy day of pokemoning and in all seriousness probably one of my last unless things turn out differently tomorrow. We did have a lot of fun initially learning the gym system and battling together was a lot of fun! But then we learned just how long you actually get to keep a gym.. spoiler alert.. average is probably like 10 minutes :/Anyway we still did have fun for the most part today and a lot of the aspects of the game still are fun. Just the movement itself is fascinating and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Today I finally tried the game out after really hating on it because it was basically a re-release of a game I played back several years ago called Ingress but pokemon themed and I gotta say, I was actually quite impressed with it. Niantic, who used to be a part of Google when Ingress was created really did a great job of taking a very cult game and turning it into a game that would have mass appeal. Coolest Cooler Unboxing Jason Urgo 2016-07-02 | After two years of waiting I'm happy to announce I finally received my coolest cooler! This was a product that was the most successful kickstarter ever, at its time at least, but sadly ran into issue after issue with the biggest issue being that it cost double what people paid on the kickstarter to actually create the cooler causing only a very small % of people to actually get their cooler initially. A couple months ago they allowed people to pay $97 more to actually get their cooler this year or potentially having to wait another year or more or many more.. for sales from the cooler at full retail price to raise enough money to furfill the kickstarter coolers. Anyway, after careful consideration I decided to go for it and am happy that I finally got my cooler and its pretty cool.I don't do unboxing videos very often but I really did want to show how cool this cooler is. My bad at opening the box upside down lol.
