IH32
My [super messy and unstructured] part in PATSU [Host: Luxtexgamer + Asumix]
updated
This completion was certainly one of a kind. Not only is it my 6th overall extreme demon, it is also
- my first extreme demon beaten on 60hz mobile
- my hardest demon after nearly 6 years of Auditory Breaker
- the first completion of this level on 60hz mobile
Attempts: 16992 (60hz Mobile), ~2000 (HRR PC)
Song: MannyHeffley - Adelucid
Menu Music: Tanger - おはよう (feat. Hatsune Miku)

My Top 5 Hardest
1. Adelucid (60hz Mobile)
2. Auditory Breaker
3. Balengu Vortex
4. Wavebreaker
5. Incipient
I also purposely chose this level to be my 100th demon completion, since it's the only extreme demon that I contributed to. Thanks to Phantom7ks and ThePurgatory for making this level possible as well!
Attempts: 403 (minus playtesting attempts for the layout)
Song: Runo - OverClock

My Top 5 Hardest
1. Auditory Breaker
2. Balengu Vortex
3. Wavebreaker
4. Incipient
5. Clock Tower
It would be a new hardest if I beat this, but not by much.
and yes, this is the official revamp of the collab
I remember seeing this on knob's channel and g-news back in the day,
it feels kinda unreal that I am now part of its history.

This time, I decided to try out a bit more of 2.2 features, such as the gravity trigger, offset teleportals, and the reverse trigger.
Since around a month ago, I really wanted to build to this song, yet the nature of this song made building duals quite a pain (especially with both icons going in different directions). Yet this helped me realize that I can express my ideas relatively quick (at least on the PC I play on).
I'll probably experiment a bit more before going on to that vertice remake.

Song: Laufey - Falling Behind
Man, GD 2.2 coming out is a crazy thing to witness. There are so many things to try out and explore that you can get lost in all its features. Here, I used some of the simpler 2.2 features in this dual based layout, including the options trigger and free camera. I’m quite surprised it didn’t take me long to create this; it only took around a week for me to make 72 seconds of gameplay. However, I’m really satisfied with this layout because I had many ideas with the dual game mode with this sort of song in mind.
More information: The song uses overdubbing of multiple distinct piano tracks, which inspired me to extensively use the dual gamemode throughout the layout.
If this gets 100 likes, I will extend this layout until the end of this song (~5 minutes total length).
Update: This already got at least 100 likes, so expect some previews of the full thing within the next months.
Stay tuned for this (and the vertice remake)

Song: Bill Evans - Emily (from Further Conversations with Myself)
This was supposed to be my entry for the Mulpan LCC back in May 2019, in which I started on the layout just mere hours before the deadline. I ended up finishing in just 4 hours, the absolute fastest I have ever made a layout, but I actually forgot to submit the layout in the form relating to the contest.
I still think this is worth uploading (on YouTube) despite the fact that the layout ended at a very wrong place, but I would still say that I somewhat enjoyed this piece of slow gameplay all the way through.
NOTE: There are no surviving copies of this gameplay at all.

Before you all ask about my current collabs, two of them, both nearly 20 seconds, are my most ambitious parts (for now) and may take a good deal of time, sp expect them late December or early January.
I also have a secret project going on [not gameplay]...

I initially had many crazy ideas for this but then I was unsatisfied with the result and remade this. I then tried to kind of rush this part but I was also unsatisfied and I forgot to read the theme 💀. My third try i really paid attention to the theme and asked the host (Zilka) for reference images.
Thanks to Zilka, some ideas really expressed themselves and i ended up implementing some buildings combined with my cavernous gameplay.
I guess my part paid attention to the theme the most…

Notes:
I slightly nerfed the layout so that it is possible on 60hz
0:05
Frames 310 and 311 could be clicked
Frames 314 and 315 would be impossible if clicked on frame 300, leaving only frame 316 [frame perfect either way]
0:36
Frames 2167 and 2168 could be clicked
Frame 2177 would be impossible if clicked on frame 2168 [frame perfect either way]
0:45
Frames 2749 and 2750 could be clicked
Clicking on frame 2750 would make the next timing (frame 2764) impossible, making them both (2749 and 2764) frame perfects

I really like the originality of this layout, from the little move triggers near the beginning to the motif of rotating triggers in the drop sections, which adds to N3mo's layout style all the better. On top of that, its really fun to play especially of a level of its difficulty [between Nana and Crazy].
Really hope it will turn into something cool in the future...

Fast forward to June 2022, school is over, with more time to collab with others (at the time I am typing I have 5 unfinished collab parts), I decided to take a part once any part for this (Cybernecia) was open.
Since this is a layout collab, I decided to push my boundaries without worry of any decorators struggling to decode this part, and I used 2 little concepts and a unique structuring method for this part.
Result? Probably one of my best parts overall. I really hope I can keep it up on my upcoming parts...

Note: I had @hawkyre to try out the layout and he said that it was top 1 (harder than SLAUGHTERHOUSE) by a long shot. I might also get others to try the layout to validate the difficulty of the unaltered copy of the level.
Update to Note: I found a ridiculous number of 60hz frame perfects in the level [more than SLAUGHTERHOUSE], which means it is likely to be a top 1 [further exacerbated by the fact that it uses little wave and no ship].
I'm planning for it to be decorated with some sort of nighttime theme hence the name of this song, "Midnight Groove". I am most likely going to get a deco creator (design/art) to host this and a verifier since it is way too hard for me.

Old Description:
It really has been a long ride. I got back playing it a week ago, practiced the level, and before I knew it, I beat the demon has evaded me for nearly 2 years. This marks my first extreme demon in 2022 along with my 5th extreme overall. And most importantly, I actually finished a level that I had started.
Should I return to being a player?

I tried experimenting with custom orbs and moving objects in this short section. I also felt that the gameplay was too rigid for a song like this although I felt the waves were alright.
All in all, I didn't know what my thought process was when I attempted to make this.
Song: Synthion - Comet

Back when Dreams by Function Squad was released, I was chosen to verify their upcoming factory themed "extreme" demon. While playing the first 2 parts of the level (the latter 2 drop parts were either unfinished), I noticed that they didn't seem too difficult, especially for an extreme demon, with Ouroix's part (the 2nd part) being a bit more difficult than Muon's part (the first part).
I have already got this run multiple times on 144hz PC, so I decided to give it a shot on 60hz mobile, doing and recording the run sometime in mid-2021.
This collab is what inspired me to make more experimental gameplay, such as my Funny Factory mini layout in mid-2021. And as of now, I try to make gameplay somewhat unique in a few occasions. Unfortunately, because Function Squads owners "quit" and the fact that the latter parts were never finished, I consider this level pretty dead with a slim chance of revival.
This level lives on in my heart, which is why I may consider creating a solo layout inspired by it (including its unfinished parts).

So basically, I had this idea of creating a dual based list challenge for a few months now and now its finally happening! So far it is around 25% done and subject to balances (mostly buffs to clicks).
Probably going to be my hardest and best duals at the moment.
Also regarding Midnight Groove, its not dead but I want to finish this and my remaining collab parts.

The level I was most hyped for, finally gets released! I'm also honored to work to playtest this level so that it plays very well (and it certainly does). About the deco, l enjoy the theming of Vietnamese New Year and overall designs, which would make it LightningSL's best solo, a significant step-up from NEon.

So basically I made a wave with moving objects (breakable blocks) in which you can take one path for each column of breakable blocks or else you will crash into the invisible hazards. For the Diagonal slopes, you need to locate the entrance and exit (fake outlines).

I didn't know what I was thinking when I made this part, but I'm pretty satisfied with the end result. This is a part in Demon Slayer themed megacollab (anime level) hosted by Zetalock, a very talented decorator who sadly decided to quit gd. (I actually hadn't watched Demon Slayer.)
