Since then I've been filming and editing... lots... and lots... of editing.I'd also like to clarify that I am not a poet in any way and I actually don't like poetry very much. I was just looking for a creative way to express my feelings and this seemed like a good idea. SO if I mess up any BBADSJS whatever it is rhymes or no couplet or whatever (as I said, I don't like poetry) I am very sorry but I am, quite literally, a beginner.words or whatever-I think up my ideasI write up my scriptsI set up my tripod and camera and video… mick. I sit and I edit for hours and hours, and then I upload!but the view count is dour. I slap it on FacebookI give it a tweetI might even Tumblr it...if I haven’t forgotten to eat.To steal a phrase from the fat, orange man, we are the silent majoritymaking our way on a platform of supposed democracy yet which disadvantages us systematically.Let’s blame it on that system the mysterious “they” the fat cats at Google who just want more pay. They don’t care about uswe 99%our destinies rarely geared towards success. Instead, we prop up the big guysjust to make sure that YouTube doesn’t die. When you put it like this, the question is: why? What’s the point of having as much power as a fly? The answer is hopeas it tends to bethe most dangerous weapon in human history. I say: fuck it. Let’s rise up en masselet’s show them who’s boss and bring an end to their act!Or…is that all wrong? What if I see conspiracy where there is none? What if this whole time I’ve sat here and screamed, the real problem with my channel is me? What if I’m not good; or edgy; or relaxed; or trendy; or funny; or unique; or pretty; or well-spoken; or edited? What if my talent is actually fairly limited?How do I do it? Which do I choose? Which perspective will put me in the most relaxed mood? Is it the anger, the oppression, the victimization? Or is it the blues, the depression, the self-deprecation?My mind runs between them like Barry Allen’s relay raceeternally at war with this brand based on my face. Winchester: 1964-2015 | JasperCH Jasper Cresdee-Hyde 2015-10-29 | Recently a friend of mine was talking about her desire to film a recreation video of footage of Winchester from 1964 (youtube.com/watch?v=I23n-EMRf9k), but she never got around to it. So of course I stole the idea for my own nefarious purposes.I aimed to recreate it as best as I could, however it was difficult in some regards. Shops have obviously moved or been replaced, people get in the way of the camera, it's difficult to redo exact shots, and for some stuff I just couldn't work out whereabouts on the high street it was. However, I think this is a pretty decent job, 4:3 aspect ratio and all.It was surprising to me how little the main town had changed in over fifty years, with the biggest difference being the high street was actually a street.
