Mario Kart Midnight Track Showcase (Offline) Yoshiguy8 2023-12-06 | I've had this Mario Kart Midnight mod for a few months now and I finally recorded a video of the Mario Kart Wii custom track mod. It is actually very cool to put it simply. It's hard to say whether this is better than CTGP Revolution, but some of the tracks are really good. That is the point of this video; showing off some of the amazing tracks that are in Mario Kart Midnight.So, in this video, I play on ten tracks in offline VS mode. These ten tracks are just a small sample of the 228 total tracks in Mario Kart Midnight. The tracks that I chose may or may not do a justice describing how good the tracks are in Mario Kart Midnight. I would love to be able to play Mario Kart Midnight's Worldwide VS mode on Wiimmfi, but ever since this newer version of MKM got released in August, I haven't been able to find anybody online. If any of y'all do play MKM online, let me know....Oh yeah and I did kinda get lost on Elemental Solstice heheh.
Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 46 Yoshiguy8 2022-10-17 | I played some Mario Kart Wii over the weekend, and it was pretty fun. I thought I did well in most of the races, but I kept losing VR. I start off with 7380 VR and end up with 7385 VR. That's pretty funny how with 35 minutes of racing, I only gained 5 VR points, but my rating just went down gradually through most of the video despite getting fifth and sixth place for a few races. Thanks to the second place on the last race, Maple Treeway, I was able to get the VR that I lost back. It was fun doing these races. I'll try to go online more often as the holiday season is approaching. Good games to all of y'all!
Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 45 Yoshiguy8 2022-10-03 | I wanted to make another Mario Kart Wii video to mark 10 years on YouTube. 10 years? Yes, it really has been 10 years on YouTube. Crazy how different things were in 2012. My first ever Mario Kart Wii video turns 10 years old in about a month from now. Anyways, these were some crazy races. I was playing against the usual Funky Kong / Flame Runner combo users that have around 8K VR, and it was definitely a battle trying to get a good position through the whole video. It was wild, and you can tell with some insane mishaps, that I was the beneficiary of some unfortunate hits. Though, on Rainbow Road and SNES Ghost Valley 2, I somehow was able to get into sixth place, and was happy about getting sixth place. That's just how competitive it was. BWP VINI was here in the room amazingly. Well, this was definitely a fun video to make.

In this video, I kinda sucked, but I wanted to showcase my new setup. So basically, with my new-ish gaming PC, I was able to play Mario Kart Wii and record using the same PC. It is definitely fun being able to play Wii from my college dorm room.
Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 43 Yoshiguy8 2022-02-15 | Happy Valentine's Day!Here is a video that is unique in so many ways. First off, this video was recorded at my college, which as you can see by the mii name, is at FAU or Florida Atlantic University. Basically, I've gotten into the Dolphin Emulator over the years and now I've finally gotten Wiimmfi to work. You can play on Wiimmfi using the Dolphin Emulator as long as your computer can run the game at 60 FPS. These computers at the University are really powerful. They had 32 gigs of RAM and as a result, I was able to play the game and record at the same time. It was amazing. My personal laptop could never do this. There is no commentary because I was in a library.Also, I suck playing using the keyboard and mouse. It is a lot harder to play using those controls versus the Wii remote and nunchuck. I mean, I did hit objects on the track that were pretty easy to avoid if I were playing with normal controls. Though, the essence of this video is to show that I was able to play online with the Dolphin Emulator. Something else that was interesting was that it was difficult to find opponents. After choosing my character, the game would sit on the "searching for opponents" screen for at least two minutes until I got disconnected. And for some reason I do get disconnected from rooms quite often. Also, with my controls set to default (pretty much), the button to use items was the left shift button, and when I was in SNES Mario Circuit 3 at 20:12 I actually activated the Sticky Keys pop up window, which messed me up. To put it short, I probably need a real controller.Good games to y'all in this room. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 42 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2021-10-20 | I wanted to play some more Mario Kart Wii before I got too busy from working at my new job. I'm working in addition to my college classes that I'm taking so I'm sure you can imagine what that is like. Because I'll be busy, I played Mario Kart one last time until the holidays or whenever I have some free time. Also I apologize for the glitched video recording. Somehow my HD PVR recorded this video and it was corrupted and would not play in certain video players. When I rendered this video, there were frames that flicker as a black screen and there was no way for me to fix it as the source was already corrupted. So yeah, I am a little disappointed about that when most of the video recorded properly. It's just a handful of frames throughout the video where it flickers.In this video, I play as Luigi. I don't know, I just wanted to use a different character for once. With me playing as Luigi, I actually do pretty well. This was a really long time for me to play and commentate. There were thirteen races in total. I finish in a good position in the first two races. Then I do bad on N64 Bowser's Caste getting fifth place out of six positions. The next race was DS Desert Hills where I got third place. And then on DS Delfino Square I got first place. So I was doing good again, but then on Mushroom Gorge, I had a very unfortunate moment where a could not bounce onto a mushroom and fell off and I ended up finishing in third place out of the four total players of that race. The next two races, I got back-to-back first place victories. Then it was GCN Peach Beach again as I was looking for the trifecta of winning races. Sadly the second GCN Peach Beach race did not result well like the first race did and I ended up placing in fourth place out of six players. GCN Waluigi Stadium would not end well for me as well. I finished in fifth place out of seventh place there. The room was starting to grow and now it was a ten player room. I ended up getting fourth place on N64 DK's Jungle Parkway. That was a good position considering it was a ten player room at that point. My wii said I had finished in third place, but I was bumped and it was close but I could see how I got fourth there as players were speeding toward the finish line. My luck would go bad after this point. The next race was DS Delfino Square and I got bob-omb'd three times on three different laps on that track. It was brutal. I ended up getting eighth place there. Then on GBA Bowser Castle 3, I could not finish in a good position there despite successfully doing the shortcut. I ended up getting seventh place there. After being in that room for about fifty minutes, I finally decided it was time to leave that room. I do one more race in a different room. That final race was on Luigi Circuit. I ended up getting second place as I got a star as the last item. So at least I finished the video getting a good position. A few first place finishes here and overall it was a pretty good Worldwide Races video. I started off with 7311 VR and finished with 7143 VR. Throughout the video, I lose 168 VR points despite the fact that I finished in good positions in most of the races. Because of my high VR in the 7000 range, I lost VR on many occasions. Wii Sports Baseball 5 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2021-09-22 | I've always wanted to play Wii Sports again and I finally return and make another video five years later. I was able to load my pro account with the himes mii and play against the pros again. It was a pretty good game as I beat Mike 3-2 and gain 33 skill points.So in this game, I start off somewhat rusty as I struck out with himes. Then when "y" was at the plate, she hits a solo home run and I was up 1-0 quickly. I get a couple of fortunate base hits with "s" and BIG FACE, but I leave them on base and one run was the only run that I scored in the first inning. In the bottom of the first, I started off throwing underhand and got Mike out on a groundball to r9. After Oscar hits a double, Chris hits a single and there were base runners at the corners with one out. The CPUs were trying to rally to score some runs and they did. Martin was able to get some luck as himes dropped the ball. That was able to bring Oscar home from third and the game was tied at 1. I was able to get Fumiko out, but when I pitched to Misaki, I screw up and throw the ! ball and that was fortunate to be just a single. That loaded the bases with two outs in a tied ballgame with Silke at bat. The first pitch was weakly hit up the middle, but still got through for a single and Mike took a 2-1 lead. Then I throw splitters to Jessie* and I was able to strike her out to get out of that inning only giving up two runs. Now when I was batting, I start off taking a walk with Bad Player. Then goombs was at bat. On a first pitch screwball, goombs hit one deep to left-center and that was a no doubter. That made it a 3-2 ballgame and I was back on top! After that HR, it was not too eventful and the inning was over with the score remaining 3-2 going into the bottom of the second inning. Then starting the second inning, I play dumb and throw a ! ball to Abby and she shoots the ball off the top of the wall for a long single. I was truly shocked it was not a double. Then Mike was at bat. After six pitches in the at-bat, I throw a spliter inside for the seventh pitch and finally strike Mike out. After that I struck out the next hitters. Chris even stared at a ! fastball right down the middle. I just got a little bit of help by the CPUs being braindead. Then in the top of the third inning, Mike was sweating. Unfortunately, I could not take advantage. I hit three ground outs and literally did nothing that inning. So then I go into the bottom of the third inning leading by one run. Very dangerous. Then in the third, the CPUs could not come back. Martin grounds out. Fumiko strikes out staring at a ! ball, and Misaki grounds out and that was it. I was able to beat Mike 3-2. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 41 Yoshiguy8 2021-09-16 | It's baaaack!! As you see I am back on my 2365 license and I was able to revive my Wii console with the broken disc reader and use USB Loader to play on Wiimmfi. I was super stoked about softmodding the family Wii. It was practically useless without the disc drive so it's pretty much a win-win being able to play Wii games on the Wii again. Anyways, I have been playing Wii a lot lately and here are some worldwide races with YTubeSTMKW that I played early Wednesday afternoon.So STMKW, aka the Best Player 740 is really good at Mario Kart Wii. This is the only player that I've seen that uploads Worldwide VS races to YouTube these days. I knew that when I joined this lobby that getting a top position was going to be rare and highly doubtful. But of course, I just joined this pro room for content. And of course, it was fun to race. The first four races were pathetic. I did get sixth place on Koopa Cape and gained VR there. Aside from that, not too eventful. After that, we did Luigi Circuit. That race just worked out really well for me and I got third place. Following Luigi Circuit was Moonview Highway and I got fifth place. The last race of the video was Rainbow Road. Usually I hate that track, but somehow I raced very well there and ended up getting second place. I am not sure why, but the room was a lot easier after STMKW quit. I started the video with 6813 VR points and ended up with 6958. That means that me joining this room was a good idea because throughout the races I gained 145 VR points. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 40 Yoshiguy8 2021-09-02 | So I've been hearing my voice in my more recent videos and I sensed that my voice has gotten more annoying. Because of this, I decided to make more videos without commentary! I'm not sure if added commentary makes the video better or worse. But for now, I am just experimenting.Here are some more Mario Kart Wii versus races on Wiimmfi. Lately, I've been playing Mario Kart Wii more often. Even though I've played more, I am still a mediocre player as usual. I just want to go on every now and then, y'know? But anyways, the video starts off with me finding a shitty room with four other players. The first race was DK Summit. It was a fairly decent race for me. Avoiding a lightning bolt and holding the triple red shells, I was able to finesse my way into second place where I would stay there for most of the race. I was in second place on the final lap when a green shell shot from SWAGNI hit me and I fell back to fourth place. I was pretty fortunate that I got fourth after I was struck with the thundercloud. On N64 Sherbet Land, that race was just messy after I got hit by pedro's bullet bill. The last item box that I got was a bob-omb and that sealed the deal. I ended up getting sixth place. The third race was N64 DJ's Jungle Parkway. Plain and simple, I was in the top three most of the race. I ended up getting second place there. Then for the fourth race, it was Coconut Mall. You all saw me select Coconut Mall. I really wanted that track to be selected. Coconut Mall was going good for me... until the final lap. The escalators were switching and I was in a bad position. I had lost all of my speed and I was trying to go up an escalator that was going the wrong way. And I still tried to go up the down escalator after I sparked the mini turbo. It was just a dumb move on my part by trying to go up the wrong way. That occurrence really messed my race up. Though, the bullet bill really bailed me out and I was able to get sixth place after I was in tenth place. It was a disgusting race by all means. After Coconut Mall, I selected GBA Bowser Course 3. Once again, Mario Kart Wii chose my track. I failed to do the BC3 shortcut, but it did not ruin my race. I was able to bullet bill my way into third place after a cluster of players were hit by items. I was doing well in this race as I was in second place on the final lap when I got screwed with red shells and not being able to avoid them. A red shell was homing into me when I tried to avoid it, but I ended up careening into the lava and falling back to third place. I was still in a good position, but I could not gain any ground on MattyLev, who was in second place. Abner shoots a red shell at me and I fall into the lava again trying to avoid the red shell. It's funny how I just failed to maneuver over the lava twice and just could not do anything right in that race. I ended up getting fifth place. I decide to do one more race and I chose DS Desert Hills. I am not sure what it is, but somehow, Mario Kart Wii selected my track three times in a row. So on Desert Hills, I was doing well again. I was in second place going into the final lap. The race went by quickly and I got fourth place. Most of these races, I lost VR despite placing in the top five. Though there were races I placed in a bad position. I start off with 6836 VR and end up with 6685 VR. That means that throughout the video, I ended up losing 151 VR points. And like I said, there were a few races where I placed in the top five positions and lost VR because of players with lower versus rating than me. Those races were enjoyable. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 39 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2021-08-20 | Another Mario Kart Wii video! Lately, I've been going on Mario Kart Wii more often. Since I play using my Wii U now, the times I go online are few and in between. It's been about three weeks since my last video. Since then, I added some new BRSTMs to my "My Stuff" folder. In this video, I start off playing on GCN Waluigi Stadium. That track was very good and I get second place there thanks in part to the red shell that I was able to hit Batcack with. The second race was GBA Shy Guy Beach. To put it short, I could not get a key item box nearing the end of the race and end up getting last place. I left to turn off the custom tracks mode of CTGP Revolution and I ended up re-joining the room. On Coconut Mall, I thought I was going to get a decent position, but I got red-shelled towards the end and I end up getting eighth place out of twelve. It was a full room when I thought the room had ten players. So my apologies for the misleading commentary. On Grumble Volcano, I was in second place doing very well and then Batcack goes crazy for second place. As I was crossing the finish line, it was pretty evident that it appeared Batcack passed me at the finish line and that she got second place, but somehow, Wiimmfi bailed me out and I got second place. That race was one of the better ones that I've played recently. I quit again in hopes to find a different room. It turns out it was a different room, however, a couple of the players in the room were in the first room. So in this new room, I play on GBA Bowser Castle 3. That race was going good for me. I was gaining some distance in first place from Arkin in second place. On the second lap, shit went South quick! There was a blue shell that blew me up mid-jump and I died. So that put me in second, but just after I respawned, I did not get a mini turbo and luke (triple star) 71 comes in with his momentum and hits me with his triple red shells while I was airborne. All hope looked lost after the quick deaths, but I only fell back to fifth place with a little help from the item boxes. On the final lap, I gamble to do the shortcut with a couple of mushrooms. It was a bad idea. I ended up getting seventh place out of eight in a disgusting Bowser Castle 3 race. The final race was GCN DK Mountain. There was not too much that happened, but on the final lap, I was in fifth place looking to beat TROMBONE98. He had one red shell that he was holding onto and I had a couple of green shells that I was firing at him. The green shells missed, but then I got triple mushrooms just before the end. TROMBONE98 kept holding onto his red shell and I used my mushrooms to try to beat trombone at the last second and it worked! Miraculously, I was able to speed past TROMBONE98 and get fourth place before he was able to get me with his red shell. It was a pretty good moment to be the last race of the video. I started the video with 6448 VR and end the video with 6441 VR. In the video, I thought that I started out in the 6500 VR range, but as you can see, throughout the races, I only lose 7 VR points from when I first started. I hope to go online more often. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 38 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2021-07-26 | Lately, I have been getting the urge to play on Mario Kart Wii again. I knew that the end of July was the perfect time to go online again. This time, I played for three hours. I start off playing Worldwide VS races, and end up playing Worldwide battles at the end. My friend Yousef joined me for some battles too! The first room starts off pretty well and I keep getting decent positions with the "happy" music to indicate that I finish in a good position. However, I did get disconnected in Dry Dry Ruins and I had to join a different room. The second room consisted of some good ass players where a few of the players had a 9000+ versus rating. I did a lot more races than I included in the video, but to suffice it to say, I lost some versus rating by staying in the room. After my embarrassing race on Mushroom Gorge, I fast forward to a battle that I joined. ~purri~ was in the room and that player was really good time and time again. My friend Yousef joined me a couple battles later. Sadly, because of how much later the battles were, my voice was lacking energy. You know, like compared to the beginning of the video, I just felt more tired during the battles, and the commentary there was just lacking. I had to skip some battles due to time constraints. If the omitted video was included, this video would have definitely been over an hour long. It was good enough. In the beginning of the video, I started off with 6696 VR, and end up with 6584 VR. This means that I lost 112 VR from when I started. I actually gained VR after the piss poor race on Mushroom Gorge because my VR was in the 6000s. I had bad races, but gained VR slightly after Mushroom Gorge. Then in battles, I start off with 5596 BR and end up with 5587 BR. So with all that battling, my BR only declined by 9 points. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 37 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2020-10-20 | I am so grateful for my dedicated subscribers. I've been absent since my peak of video uploading in 2015 until about 2018. So, I am thankful that I have people subscribed still. Even through my biggest decline, you all are still here, and with that, I thank you all. This video is for you all. I hope that you will enjoy.I've been thinking about how its been over one year since I uploaded my last Mario Kart Wii video. It is shocking to say the least considering this channel was founded upon Wii videos from the very beginning. And now, surpassing eight years on YouTube as Yoshiguy8 as of October 3rd, this year, I couldn't be happier. Making videos for all these years has been so enjoyable. It is remarkable. I know it seems I say this every year. I am just so happy.In this video, I do five races on Wiimmfi. I join a room with nine other players and I remain in this room through the entirety of the video. To kick things off, I do a race on Bowser's Castle. Things start off tough there. I fall off the track on the first lap, which sets me up for being in the middle of the pack through the first couple of laps. Approaching the final lap of Bowser's Castle, I make my way up to fifth place only to have a bob-omb dropped into my bike. Very suddenly, I end up in third place for a short second, and that was the highest position I would achieve in this race. It looked as if I would get fourth place, but a bullet bill would pass me after my jump off the ramp, and I was in fifth place. That would be the final position that I earned in Bowser's Castle as I could not hit Player with my bob-omb. The second race was GCN Peach Beach. That was a pretty good race. The golden mushroom put me in a good position to win. I was in third place looking to win as I had a blue shell in hand, but a green shell fired backward ruined my pretty good race. I was in third just in front of the finish line, but I ended up getting sixth place in an unfortunate finish for me. The third race was Luigi Circuit, which was a track that I picked. Things were working out for me suddenly once I made it to the second lap. I was in first place and I avoided a thundercloud that joseph wanted to pass to me. Though I was in second place entering the final lap, things were still close and I had a chance to win still. A bob-omb was thrown and I blew up. I ended up getting fifth place there. After Luigi Circuit, a lot of the players in this room quit, and so we were left with a four player room. I did not intend on choosing Koopa Cape, but that was the fourth race. Koopa Cape with four players was not too eventful, as you may be able to tell by my tangents. Through that race, I did get third place. It was not last place, but I knew that I could do better. Then I did my final race on DS Peach Gardens. This race started off slow. I was not anticipating the startup and got no acceleration off the countdown. It was a slow start, but I made my was up to second place at the end of the first lap. So things were suddenly looking pretty good for me. I was still in second place until I got a thundercloud. So, with that, I fell back a couple of positions to fourth place. I may have gotten knocked down, but I knew I wasn't out. I was in third, but a beneficial blue shell was able to help me out on the final lap. The player must have been good as fuck, and he finished well ahead of joseph in second place. So the blue shell went to joseph, and I was able to ease my way into second place by using a mushroom. I was planning on doing perhaps another race, but then I felt satisfied with that decent race, and then thought to make a better decision and quit before I did another race. I started the video off with 6355 VR points and ended up with 6357 VR points. I gained just 2 versus rating points after playing online for around 25 minutes. What a waste of time for such a little gain in versus rating. Pretty funny stuff. Enjoy the races. Good games to those who I played against. NHL 20 - Red Wings @ Lightning (With Custom Music) Yoshiguy8 2020-06-08 | Here is the latest video game that I bought, which is NHL 20 for the Xbox One. I’ve been playing the season mode lately because of how the COVID-19 pandemic shut the NHL down. And so now, I have made it to the playoffs as the Tampa Bay Lightning. In the playoffs, I beat the Boston Bruins in 7 games, and now I’m playing the Detroit Red Wings in the second round. This game is just so much more enjoyable than NHL 16. Most of the games that I’ve played have been very close games, usually one goal games and the games have that intensity that NHL games have in real life. When Vasilevskiy needs to make a big save, he actually makes a save on a slapshot in most cases. And as a result, the game is just so fun. Every game is a different story.As usual when I add in custom music to NHL games, I add music that I hear in real Lightning games, and apply those songs and my recordings of the organ in NHL 20 to make the NHL video game sound more realistic. This is the first time that I made one of these videos during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Apologies for the game audio cutting off towards the end of the video. The glitching can happen when live streaming, and so I apologize for that. They score first to make it 1-0. The first period was mostly uneventful, but then Detroit scores again to make it 2-0. And that was how the first period would end. In period two, about halfway through, Ondrej Palat scores and it is now a 2-1 game. I try to get the game tied before intermission, but the one goal was all I could do in the second period. Now it is the third period and I was on the power play. The Stamkos line was out and Brayden Point scores, albeit on a bad angle, but nevertheless, the game was tied! But the Stamkos line remained out after the goal, and just like that I scored another goal just thirteen seconds after the game tying goal to put the lightning up 3-2. It was a pretty exciting way to start the third period coming back from 2-1 to score 2 goals within the first minute of the period. A few moments later, Detroit took their third minor penalty and I was back on the power play. And with a Alex Killorn one-timer, I got another goal, making it a 4-2 game. Things were going good, but then I took my first penalty of the game and now Detroit was on the power play down two goals. Thirty seconds into the power play, Detroit scores, but the referee waives it off because the puck appeared to be kicked in at first glance. After further review, it was a good goal and Detroit was back in this game now down one goal. There were many chances and things got crazy towards the end when Detroit got a second power play. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 36 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2019-10-04 | A new Mario Kart Wii video! First time in over a year. I'm not entirely sure how I felt the need to make a video on a random Friday in October, but then it all came to me. I realized how amazing you guys have been. 2019 is the year I finally got a thousand subscribers; and to this day, I still am astonished by the fact that I actually surpassed a thousand subscribers. Truly remarkable. You viewers are amazing and so supportive of my gaming videos, even to this day. Yesterday was my channel's anniversary from when I created it on October 3rd, seven years ago in 2012.Speaking of 2012, I am using the same camera that I used in 2012, before I got an iPhone. The reason that I'm using that crappy camera instead of the HD PVR is because my HD PVR is broken. The USB connector on the machine literally fell off and it would not connect to my computer.And now the fun part of the description where I actually describe how the video played out. So, the first race was Moo Moo Meadows. The first lap didn't have too much happening. I pretty much started from the bottom and gradually moved up. On the second lap, I did get triple mushrooms and the effectiveness of using them at the right moment allowed me to pass others who got hit, and then I found myself in third place going into the final lap. So on lap three, Ben 2019 sent a red shell that dropped me back to seventh place. Though, triple mushrooms bailed me out and I got fourth place. Prior to the second race, I thought the somewhat famous YouTuber Poofesure joined the room as I saw the mii "Beef boss" in the room. As it turns out, I don't think it was Poofesure, but regardless, there was a Beef boss fan in the room. Onward to the second race, which was N64 Mario Raceway. So the item box gave me a golden mushroom right off the bat. I save it up and use it at a great time, and I managed to move myself all the way to first place. I stay in first place through most of the second lap and then mR. blen passed me up for a quick minute before my well thrown banana hit mR. blen and I was able to retake the lead for the final lap. The final lap was going good and it looked like I was going to win a race, but out of nowhere ノラ☆ stole my win and to my surprise, he used a kart and won online. The third race was Daisy Circuit. Not too much happened on the first lap, but I got a golden mushroom that I used on the second lap, which allowed me to speed my way into second place, trailing SD. I go into the final lap still in second when a blue shell is sent to SD while I was armed with a red shell. After the blue shell detonated, I fire my red shell at the defenseless SD, and SD got hit again; allowing me to take the lead. But it was very short lived because Latios used his mushrooms pretty much synonymously after I was in first place. Latios would hang on to win. Meanwhile, a lightning bolt was used and my miniature bike was hit by a bullet bill, knocking me back to seventh place. Unbelievable, the fourth race was also Daisy Circuit. To put it short, it was pretty much the same race, but I got sixth place instead of seventh place. The bob-omb on the final lap pretty much was the dagger that made me lose. The final two races had the maximum twelve players in the room. I got seventh on Mario Circuit and eighth on GCN Waluigi Stadium. And because of how low my versus rating was, I didn't really lose much points for losing. I started the video off with 6596 VR points and ended up with 6569 VR points. NHL 16 - Hurricanes @ Lightning (With Custom Music) Yoshiguy8 2018-06-07 | I just uploaded an updated version of this video. Like last year, my intentions were to play a low scoring game that has a lot of breaks in between the action. If you've been following me on Twitter, you'd see that I went to the Lightning game on Easter/April Fools Day. I got more recordings of the organ music and other action. I noticed that the Amalie Arena DJ tends to play more crowd pump up music and less of the classic rock music. You'll hear what I mean throughout the video. The main point of the video was to mute the in-game music and replace it with music and sounds that are actually heard in Amalie. In the game, I'm playing as the Carolina Hurricanes. I beat the Lightning 4-3 in a shootout. The lightning scored first in the first period. Then I tied the game at 1 in the second period. In the third period, the lightning jumped out to a 3-1 lead, but then I scored a goal to make it a 3-2 game. Then with under a minute, I scored and tied the game at 3. In overtime, nobody scored, but there were shots that hit the post. Then it was the shootout. I scored on my first shot and the lightning got a goal on their third shot to tie the shootout at 1. In round 7, I scored, but Braydon Coburn ties the shootout by scoring, keeping the game alive. Then in round 14, I scored and they didn't. I won the game. That was the longest shootout I've ever played. Also, I updated the lightning roster. It's mostly accurate. The only person that's missing is Mikhail Sergachev. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 35 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2018-05-23 | Apologies in advance for the crappy microphone.Anyways, this may be one of my final videos before a long hiatus as I look to transfer into college. I didn't want to leave my channel in the dark before I go for a bit. Anyways, in this video, I actually start of doing a Custom Track Worldwide, bizarrely. The race track was Lost Fortress and the final result was embarrassing. I mean it has been at least seventeen months since I last played CTWWs. You had to know I was going to lack experience. Anyway, yeah... that Lost Fortress race actually happened... Let's put it this way, I got to the final lap of that race. After a disconnection, the normal worldwide races commenced. The first worldwide race was a full room on SNES Ghost Valley 2. Things started to work in my favor as I went into the final lap in fourth place. Though, for some reason, my progress had come undone in the final lap because of a failed jump across the shortcut ramp. I was respawned in ninth place and ninth place was the final outcome. The third race was Maple Treeway and it had eleven players. I stayed around the middle of the pack through the bulk of the race, but I had another uncanny jump and I careened to my death once again in the final lap. This time, the speed of the stars allowed me to move up and finish the race in seventh place. After a second disconnection, I resumed in a different worldwide room. The fourth race was on GCN Peach Beach with eight players. Once again, it started off good for the first two laps, but in the final lap, it all went wrong again. I green shell homed into me after being fired backwards. I fell back to sixth place before the lightning bolt struck. I was in seventh place, approaching the item box set and then I missed the item box I was intending to drive into. Oh everything was just going wrong today. I finally get a bullet bill. It looked like I crossed the finish line in last place, but Wiimmfi gave me a huge break as I got seventh place despite the fact that I crossed the finish line after the seventh place racer. I decided to do one more race even though everything was going wrong. The fifth and final race was on N64 Sherbet Land and there were nine players. Right off the first item box, I got a golden mushroom and used it. It was a good boost and I was actually in first place! Holy cow! I was in first place through two laps. Could it be that I actually won a race on Mario Kart Wii in the Wiimmfi era? Nope. It was the very unlucky final lap and more bad luck. A blue shell was sent and detonated on me, sending me into third place. A few obstructions placed on the track slowed me down to eighth place. I was down and out, looking to take another loss, but the golden mushroom saved me. I used the golden mushroom to boost myself into third place, but HD Yoshi fell off the track; allowing me to get into second place. A green shell was fired back by Susannah and it nearly got me as I was looking back, but it didn't hit me and I successfully finished the race in second place. It was a good ending to a very ugly video. I started off with 6515 VR points and ended up with 6479 VR points. I lost 36 versus rating points after all was said and done.This video is in 60 FPS! Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 34 Yoshiguy8 2018-02-04 | Guys, I still play this game!First and foremost. I apologize for not making any videos in the closing months of 2017. As some of you may know, my Wii won't display any signal to my TV. Whether or not this issue is due to a bricked NAND is a possibility. All I know is that my Wii that I bought is dysfunctional and I'm not sure how I can fix it. Recently, I "borrowed" the other Wii and played on Wiimmfi for one day. Little did I know, I could've launched the game with my textures by launching the CTGP Revolution channel. The whole time I played online through the Wiimmfi patcher disappointingly.In this video, I do races on four different tracks before Wiimmfi gave me the boot. I started by doing a race on DS Yoshi Falls. Things started out kind of shaky as I got my first experience with the controls in nearly three months. I gained familiarity with the game as the race progressed, but I regressed a bit trying to get an item box on the final set of item boxes. I ended up getting fifth place out of eleventh place, losing only one VR point in the process. The second race was Mushroom Gorge. I got trolled by a thundercloud right off the draw, but things really went bad after I crossed the start/finish line for my second lap. I had one mushroom and I attempted the shortcut... bad idea! Then it was the final lap and things weren't too much better. I ended up getting seventh place in a very unorthodox race. The third race was Moo Moo Meadows. It was an interesting race. In the final lap, things got interesting when I got a lightning bolt in seventh place. The following item box, I got a mega mushroom in fourth place. I really thought I'd get first place, but a resilient funky kong with literally no name was able to prevail. I ended up getting second place. The final race was Toad's Factory. Let's just say that race never presented a decent opportunity for me to win. I was bottlenecked towards the back of the pack through nearly the entire race. For some reason, I ended up getting sixth place despite the fact that I crossed the finish line in seventh place. All in all, there wasn't anything extraordinary that happened, just something cool to watch. I started out with 6968 VR points and ended up with 6988 VR points. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 33 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2017-10-23 | In this video, I play on Mario Kart Wii again. I'm not sure how, but I forgot about my channel's 5 year anniversary. I created my channel back on October 3rd, 2012. Initially, I uploaded highlights of Rays Baseball, but I deleted those videos because they were very shitty Windows Live Movie Maker products. My first video was actually uploaded on October 19th, 2012. My first Mario Kart Wii video was uploaded on November 6th, 2012. I can't believe how much has changed since 2012, but I'm going to make a Mario Kart Wii video on the 6th of November to honor my first Mario Kart Wii upload.Anyway, in this video, I do five races. I start off playing on DS Delfino Square. I start off doing okay in that one, but the final item I got was a POW block. Because of the bad item, I end up finishing in sixth place out of eighth place. Then it was Grumble Volcano. I kinda redeemed myself as I got fourth place. After Grumble Volcano, a lot of people decided to quit. I'm not sure why. But it was now a three player game on GCN Waluigi Stadium. I held the lead for about one whole lap. Then Gerardo used the mega mushroom to go across the shortcut and he took the lead. He ended up winning and I got second place. For some reason it was still a three player race on SNES Mario Circuit 3. After Gerardo held back, he couldn't surpass me. Once again, I got second place. After that race, I join a new room with more players. It was a tough battle on Bowser's Castle. I ended up finishing in sixth place out of ninth place. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 32 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2017-08-28 | In this video, I do some more Mario Kart Wii races on Wiimmfi. There isn't many races in this video as my goal is to cut down on video length. I'm noticing that these days, I don't have much time to watch long videos over 15 minutes. I'm trying to make my videos shorter so you guys can save time.In this video, I start off playing on N64 Mario Raceway. It was a pretty strong race for me, but I didn't get the job done at the end. I got triple mushrooms and Nameless got a bullet bill. I end up finishing in third place and lose 10 VR points. The following race, Wario's Gold Mine, would be way more exciting. I was in second place pretty much the entire race. In the final lap, CD dies and I catch up to his lead very quickly. The last item box would give me one mushroom. I was in second, he was in first. The finish line was approaching very quickly. Suddenly, I use the mushroom. I was still just a tad bit behind CD. I turn very hard and I finished the race in first place. I'm not even sure how I got first seeing that I crossed the finish line after CD. It was such an amazing race, that it's one of my all-time favorite races throughout my entirety of playing Mario Kart Wii. Unfortunately, Mario Kart Wii would take forever concluding Wario's Gold Mine and I got disconnected from the other players. The last race was GCN Peach Beach. It wasn't as much fun, but I do get third place to close it out. Overall, it was a good video as I gained 69 VR points throughout the video.This video is in 60 FPS! Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 31 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2017-07-29 | I may be an adult now, but Mario Kart Wii is still as lit today as it was back in 2012. In this video, I start off on the main menu of Mario Kart Wii, and then I log on to Wiimmfi. I do races on six different tracks here. You don't see many videos of mine with this many races in it. I start off in Pussy Circuit. That race seemed very favorable toward me getting a good position, but it all went wrong after I crossed the finish line. It appeared that I crossed the finish line in 3rd place, but Wiimmfi said I actually got 5th place. That's a whole concept that I'll never understand. Then SNES Mario Circuit 3 was next. That race seemed pretty tricky for me. Luckily I got a mega mushroom and was able to get 5th place. I lost VR, but I still thought that was a good race by me. Then it was Moo Moo Meadows for the third race. I was honestly lucky to get 5th in that race. For the fourth race, N64 Mario Raceway was selected. Once again, I felt like that was a race where it was very conducive that I would finish in a good position. Unfortunately, the shit hit the fan at the end of that race. It started off with Cooper surpassing me with his mega mushroom. I grew back to normal size moments after and got an item box in third place. The box gave me one banana. A bunch of other players got better items and I was left with my banana in 7th place. Shortly after that shitty race, my batteries couldn't take it anymore and killed themselves. Fortunately for me, I had replacement batteries nearby and they were replaced without a problem. In fact, Wiimmfi waited for me to get ready! For the fifth race, it was Mario Circuit. That race turned out well thanks to the mega mushroom once again. I ended up getting 3rd place. For the last race, well, we'll pretend that didn't happen. I did a race on DS Delfino Square. To my surprise, the room was still full up to this point. I didn't do terribly bad early on. But the item impacts tacked on as the race went on. I got the thundercloud on the second lap. Somehow, I was still in winning contention despite the thundercloud impacts all thanks to the bullet named Bill. It was the final lap and I was in 5th place when a mega mushroom icon appeared in my heads up display. This icon began flashing at a more rapid rate. Then the moment came, the player that the icon was warning me about crushed me and crushed my opportunity of getting a winning position. I was absolutely fucked after that moment as Matt, Cooper, and HumDrumAnt all passed me. I got 10th place, which was last place. NHL 16 - Penguins @ Lightning Yoshiguy8 2017-07-24 | I decided to do the same matchup as in NHL 2K11, only on NHL 16 for the Xbox One. I don't know, there's just something special about beating the Pittsburgh Penguins. I didn't put any custom music in the game. The video is not edited. Both the Lightning and Penguins' rosters are updated to the 2016-17 NHL season rosters. I even added Jake Guentzel (Not in NHL 16) to the Penguins roster. Also, I tried out the hardcore gaming style in this video. I used Arcade before.So the game started off scoreless through most of the first period. Unfortunately, Sidney Crosby made it 1-0 for the Penguins with just over a minute remaining. In the second period, Vladislav Namestnikov ties the game on a wrap around that got past Matt Murray. So it was a 1-1 tie in the third period when Gabriel Dumont scored early in to make it 2-1 Lightning. It would remain that way until the end. With less than 20 seconds remaining, Evgeni Malkin scores to force overtime. Nobody scored in the 5 minutes, so the game went to a shootout. Eventually I won the shootout after 8 rounds and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Pittsburgh Penguins by a score of 3-2.Video recorded on July 4th, 2017.
NHL 2K11 - Penguins @ Lightning Yoshiguy8 2017-07-23 | As many of you subscribers probably know by now, I'm a really big hockey fan. Since it isn't hockey season now, I've been playing my NHL video games a lot lately (I still play Mario Kart. Don't get me wrong y'all.) Anyways, in this game, I'm playing as the Tampa Bay Lightning against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Forum. I tried to update the rosters as much as I could. Obviously, these are supposed to be the rosters from the 2016-17 NHL Season. Since there isn't any rosters online, I managed them myself. I updated the Penguins' roster as much as I could. There are still many old players on the team who are no longer playing in the NHL.This game was a pretty even game. There wasn't any scoring until the end of the second period. I was beating the pens in shots on goal through two periods, but they ended up outshooting me in the end. It was a 2-2 game until Chris Kunitz scored for the pens. Kunitz is now a lightning player and I'm excited to see how that will turn out. The score was 3-2 with the Penguins in the lead and less than seven minutes remaining in the game. Then with a bit over three minutes remaining in the game, I tied it back up at 3 goals. Things got a bit scary when I took a two minute penalty with under three minutes to go. I couldn't let the Penguins win with a power play goal. Luckily, Steven Stamkos was on the ice and he scored the game winner short handed. Mario Kart Wii - Friend Race 7 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2017-07-10 | Here is another Mario Kart Wii video. The number of videos I upload seems to diminish as I get older. I'm not sure why that is. Just two years ago, I was a sixteen years old and very active. Now, I'm a legal adult and I still play Mario Kart, but not nearly as much these days. Who knows? This may end up being one of my final few videos.In this video, I join my friend Krissy (Resident Evil lover) for some fun in a friend room. Kristen kicked my ass for both of the battles. I only got one point in both of them. I'm thinking that using the Classic Controller was a bad idea. I only used this controller because my Nunchuck wasn't working at times.So, after the battles, Krissy hosted a grand prix which was in mirror mode for all four races. The first race was Luigi Circuit. I was lucky to get first as she got a fake item box. Coconut Mall was another victory for me because of a mushroom that I got on the second lap. The score in the grand prix was 30-14 after two races with me in the lead. Then the tables turned. N64 Mario Raceway was next. I started that race blowing out during the startup and never really recovered. After Krissy won that race, my lead in the grand prix was cut down. The score suddenly became 37-29. One last race remained. That race was N64 Bowser's Castle. It was a must-win race if I wanted to get the advantage overall in the grand prix. It was a hard fought race, but in the end, I lost the race. So, I got first place overall in the grand prix (somehow). We both got 44 points though. Technically we both won.This video is in 60 FPS! Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 30 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2017-05-31 | I apologize for the long delay but here it is. Mario Kart Wii is finally back! In this video, I play three races of Wiimmfi. Somehow three races were able to be stretched to a twenty-five minute video, but there were a lot of things that increased the length of the video aside from racing. So I started out on DS Delfino Square. Honestly, that race I felt like I played rather atrociously on that race, but I did miraculously finish in fifth place out of ninth place. I'm not sure why, but my victory music played despite a 24 versus rating deduction. Then came Moonview Highway. I thought that this was my best race of the three in terms of how good I was. But even then, my luck didn't carry me to second place. On the final lap, I hit a fake item box that was wisely placed on the dash panel by Fb Vini. Then a red shell that wasn't even homing into me decided to collide. The two hits were enough to allow Rcc Jaike to surpass me. I did get a thundercloud for the last item, but as I said in the video, it was too late for me to catch up. I ended up getting third place out of nine. Not a terrible finish; I did get 30 versus rating points, which isn't bad. I pressed next race and that's when the first room ended. After watching my second live view, it was Dry Dry Ruins for the final race. Let's just say I was lucky to finish in 4th. The race was as mundane as the course. NHL 16 - Devils @ Lightning (With Custom Music) Yoshiguy8 2017-04-27 | It's that time of year for playoff hockey and I'm back to the good game of NHL 16 in hopes that I'll be able to play a low scoring game with a lot of breaks in between the live play. Luckily, I was able to get a game matching my criteria. So many games have been spoiled because the CPUs keep scoring. Literally, I've been playing NHL 16 every weekend since my last video that I uploaded hoping for a low scoring game. So, in this game, I'm playing as the New Jersey Devils and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat me 5-3 in regulation. 5 of the 8 goals were scored in the first period. The bolts would tie the game in the 2nd period. They put me away in the third period by scoring 2 goals. There were 4 fights in the game. There were a total of 99 shots on goal. I wasn't trying my hardest to win this game. It was fun and I enjoyed watching my gameplay throughout the video.Now the point of this video is mostly the fact that there is custom music dubbed into the game. The objective of the video is to make this game sound like it actually was at Amalie Arena. I worked so hard to get many of the songs that are usually heard in an actual lightning game. Recently, I went to a lightning game and was able to get a lot of sounds from the organ and other sound effects. This is as real as it could get!This video is in 60 FPS! Late on a Monday night, I decided to play some MKWii. It's pretty much the only time I've played since I'm lazy as fuck these days. To be honest, it's just all the things I have to do at eighteen years old that's messing my schedule up.In this video, I start off getting fourth place on SNES Ghost Valley 2. Then on GCN Waluigi Stadium, I get fourth place again. Things would get excruciatingly worse as I get last place on N64 Sherbet Land. I was front running, I nearly got to the finish line when all hell broke loose. Luigi Circuit followed Sherbet Land, and it was almost a successful win. I end up getting raped with red shells after having one banana in stock. I get bailed out by Wiimmfi as I was about to get another tragic loss. I do lose a shit load of VR from getting disconnected though. I join a new worldwide VS race that had two other opponents. That race on Bowser's Castle was a disaster when it began. Following Mushroom Gorge, I go to GCN Peach Beach. It was really rough for me. I end up getting hit a lot and get 11th place. Things get worse when I got to GBA Peach Beach. I get last place due to a failure with my nunchuck. I do bounce back though and get 3rd place on Maple Treeway. And for the last race, I play on Wario's Gold Mine and get some final lap magic. I suck, I'm lazy, and overall, I haven't felt MKWii like I used to. It's kind of a weird feeling, but I'm trying to balance things out and play more often.So, I start off on N64 DK's Jungle Parkway. I really didn't get the best of luck there as I get the thundercloud on the final lap. It really was a significant impact though. It pretty much changed that race since there were no more item boxes beyond where I got struck. Things brighten a little on GCN DK Mountain though. I was able to get a golden mushroom in a timely moment to move my way into third place. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 26 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-12-15 | In this video, I do some Worldwide VS races on Wiimmfi. The room I joined was spectacular. There were 10 other players to start with. In Mario Circuit, I thought all was going wrong there when I was in the final lap in 8th place, but miraculously, I got a golden mushroom when I needed it most. That golden mushroom was able to put me in 1st place. Following the great Mario Circuit triumph, I go to Mushroom Gorge. That race was not very pretty. I was just able to get 7th place at best with the help of the bullet named Bill. The final race I do is Moo Moo Meadows. It seemed like that race would be better, but then I get a blooper as the final item. That allows for some people to pass me. Instead of 5th, I got 7th. Mario Kart Wii - CTWW 50 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-12-14 | Here it is! My 50th episode of the Mario Kart Wii Custom Track Worldwide series! What started out over three years ago continues today. It's been pretty interesting through 3 years. Lot's of changes and variation from how things were in early 2013, but despite the tough times, I continued to make Mario Kart Wii videos. In this video, I do four races on various tracks. One of which is a track that I chose, Bayside Boulevard. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 24 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-11-13 | In this video, I decided to play some Worldwide Races on Wiimmfi once again. This time things were a little different from the norm. I played online just after midnight. I usually play around 4 o'clock in the afternoon... well, prior to this video. Anyway, there were some unscripted things occurring here in this video. My nunchuck decides to screw up in the first race. Because of this, I had to reset my Wii and find a new room. Beyond that first race on Moo Moo Meadows, things went pretty good for me. I got a first place victory on DS Peach Gardens and following that, I got 2nd place on Daisy Circuit. Also, in the first race of Daisy Circuit, I kind of "trolled" Solo Rock by sending two of my three red shells to him as well as a thundercloud all at once. The bunch of items practically ruined his race. The second race on Daisy Circuit is a Mano a Mano race with Solo Rock. It turns out Solo Rock would win that race. Then on N64 Bowser's Castle. I deserved to lose! I honestly deserved to lose. However, Solo Rock would wait for my arrival and ultimately surrendered second place to me. Then, the final race was N64 DK's Jungle Parkway. On lap 2, Solo Rock gets triple red shells and fires all three of the red shells at me. I didn't quite notice it while I was recording, but that was pure retaliation because of what I did to him in the previous races.This video is in 60 FPS! It took 5 hours and 12 minutes to render. Mario Kart Wii - CTWW 49 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-11-04 | I am back and I'm ready for some more Mario Kart Wii!In this video, I do some Custom Track Worldwide races on Wiimmfi once again. I recorded this video after a recording I made around an hour before I recorded this video. I start off playing on N64 Moo Moo Farm. I played a fairly decent race for the most part. Then on the final lap, things went awry. I was in 2nd place when a red shell began homing into me. I used my banana expecting to avoid the red shell collision. Suddenly, the dude with symbols came in and knocked me out with his star. There was also a moment on F-Zero White Land 2 where I used my golden mushroom into the border. Obviously, the golden mushroom greatly diminished my chances of winning. Also, I thank Tom Stunky and Aaron for joining me in this CTWW. I apologize for the audio. As you can see, it's been a while. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 23 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-09-23 | In this video, I decide to do some races after a long day of school. It turns out that this may not have been a good idea. I haven't been to active lately and overall, I just didn't feel comfortable while playing here. Wiimmfi was really low on bandwidth today and you can see I got lagged out of a room in this video. Lastly, on GCN Peach Beach, you can see how obvious it was that I should have been placed in 3rd place. After I cross the finish line in 3rd, you see the camera changes. You can clearly see the Toadette cross the finish line at least 1 second later.Now to the more important part of the video. This video is in 60 FPS! It's also the first gaming video I rendered using Adobe Premiere Pro. You're not going to believe this, but it took over 30 hours to render. I do not have a total elapsed time as it was not provided. Need for Speed Nitro Gameplay 3 Yoshiguy8 2016-09-07 | In this video, I go back to Need for Speed Nitro. I know it has been a while since I last played this game. I just wanted to throw something other than Mario Kart Wii at you guys. I do some circuit races. I do my first race on Zamalek Island. I do okay in that race and end up getting 4th place out of 8th place. Following the first race, I do a race on Plaza Mayor. That race was pretty tough, but somehow, I managed to get 3rd place. Lastly, I go to Raffles Place for the final circuit race. I used the Volkswagen Type 2, not knowing how slow it was. Despite the slowness, I got 1st place on Raffles Place. Lastly, I do a few trials of a drag race on Sugar Loaf. I ended up getting totaled in both of the races. It was pretty fun racing in this game. I recommend you all play this game. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 22 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-08-31 | In this video, I join my friend Jeyka to play some Worldwide races on Wiimmfi. I start off doing bad on GCN Waluigi Stadium as well as DK Summit. Then things change when I get 2nd place on DS Delfino Square. After that race, my good friend Kristen (Resident Evil lover) joins the room. Mario Circuit was a pretty interesting race. I got hit a few times, but I was able to get 2nd place. Kudos to Kristen for the first place victory. After that, we raced on Daisy Circuit. Unfortunately, I lost to Nanika, but I was honestly pretty satisfied with 2nd as you can see. I said I got back to back 2nd place finishes in the video, but actually it was a 2nd place trifecta because I got 2nd place for three straight races. Overall, it was a very exciting experience. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 21 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-08-28 | In this video, I join my friend Cupcake for some exciting action in a Worldwide VS race. There was 11 other racers when I first joined, but all the insanity would die down as the video progresses. I start off playing poorly. You see that I get back to back losses on SNES Mario Circuit 3. Those people with the star power-up were not very kind to me. After the two races on SNES Mario Circuit 3, things got a little better. I was able to get 2nd place on SNES Ghost Valley 2 (My favorite course). That 2nd place was pretty much the only action I had throughout the video. I thank Cupcake for staying through the video. Mario Kart Wii - CTWW 48 Yoshiguy8 2016-08-16 | In this video, I join my friends in some exciting racing action on the custom tracks of CTGP Revolution. Trust me, there were a lot of friends in this room. People like Snake, 450 MrBurn, Sleepy, MSX Matt, and Frank were all in this CTWW room. It was fun racing. I start off doing well in Sandcastle Park. Remember last time I played on that course it was an egregious loss. This time, I performed much better. The shortcut across the sand was a huge benefactor to me getting 2nd place. After that, I did good, but for a little bit. I then begin losing more races and eventually we do DS Wario Stadium. In that track, well quite frankly, I should've finished in first. I played my ass off trying to move into first place throughout the entire race. Finally, on the final lap, it seemed as if I were going to win, but a green shell from a guy named Christian hits me. So damn unfortunate. After the hit, I fall back to 7th place. The thunderbolt doesn't help matters at all. The final result was 9th place in a race that I should've gotten first in. Maybe I'll make a virtue of luck in the next video.This video is in 60 FPS! Mario Kart Wii - Online Battle 5 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-08-03 | Continued from previous videos, I decided to record a video of me playing in a battle online. The last time I recorded a video of an online battle was about 3 years ago. Honestly, my shitty videos from before aren't worth revisiting.In this video, I start out by doing a Mano a Mano battle on Wiimmfi against Rose. It was a Coin Runners and it ended up being a rather close outcome. Following the first battle, more players joined in. The red team lost badly on GCN Cookie Land. Then in Block Plaza, I didn't realize an opponent got disconnected. The blue team won pretty easily, but the red team really made things interesting towards the end. And for the last battle, GCN Cookie Land was selected again. That was a very close affair nearing the end. It turns out that Miu had the game tying point, however, the battle ended without the point counting. I think my measly point was the difference-maker in that battle. I apologize for overusing the word "insane", but I was practically at a loss of words with all of the chaos. I also apologize for saying me. NHL 16 - Toronto Maple Leafs @ Tampa Bay Lightning Yoshiguy8 2016-08-02 | Is it October yet? It feels like forever since there was hockey on TV. No need to worry, here's an exciting game of NHL 16 that I recorded from my Xbox One. And when I say exciting, I mean it. There were a lot of shots and not too many goals. The final score was 4-3 with the Lightning winning in regulation. It was nearly a 4-2 win, but the Maple Leafs were really attacking and they score their final goal in the closing minute of the 3rd period. I didn't throw in custom music this time. I recorded this video right before I recorded CTWW number 46. In this video, I find a CTWW with three other players. There weren't many people playing in one room when I recorded this. Shortly after, CTWW 46 developed and I joined. In these races, I do pretty good in the beginning. I get a first place victory in Stone Route. After that, I did alright... for the most part. It turns out I do better than I thought I would. I did get 2nd once on Pussy Circuit. There was a very strange ending on Wario's Gold Mine. I knock Tux Waters off the cliff and three people have to be respawned right before the finish line. I thought I beat Tux Waters, but Wiimmfi screwed me up again.This video is in 60 FPS! Mario Kart Wii - More Worldwides w/ the 4DR Clan! Yoshiguy8 2016-07-22 | This is pretty much a continuation of the previous video I uploaded featuring the 4DR clan. In this video, I do three different tracks with the 4DR clan. Before I recorded this video, I got absolutely dominated. I felt like after every hit I received, I could not catch up with everyone else because they'd already be way ahead of me. I mean what can I say? Seemingly everybody else played well in every race. I thought that I got 4th place on Pussy Circuit. It turns out that I got 6th place instead. Wiimmfi really screwed me up there. I know that it was going to be close seeing a couple of players breaking for the finish line, but I thought I crossed the finish line in 4th place. I actually had to sneakily "steal" the downstairs Wii without my goofy sister knowing I installed homebrew. She'll never feel comfortable with me installing homebrew. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 19 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-07-09 | In this video, I find a few worldwide VS races late in the night. I start out watching a live view featuring 6 other racers. When I was in the room, 3 of those 6 racers already quit. Then Bowser's Castle was selected and Player as well as his guest Nads left the room right as the race was about to begin. This left the room with 1 other racer. It was me against Player in a mano a mano race. Well, not to much later, the last Player gets disconnected. I gained 27 VR points from that weird phenomenon. After the first room, I join a room that initially had two racers; both playing as Funky Kong. My friend Snake joined me and the 6 players were in the room after the live view. These same 6 racers were in the room for a few races until the room got lagged out after a race on Bowser's Castle. So, after going through two rooms, I decided to join my friend BF Zip BAS. I see my rival who I have played before was in that room. That guy being Freak31. However, I didn't really interact with him since we only did one race after joining BF Zip. I had to really talk over people towards the end. I beg your pardon for the background conversations.This video is in 60 FPS! It took 5 hours and 49 minutes to render. I actually had to render this video twice as the original render attempt didn't render properly due to my network disconnecting many times. The first render took a horrendous 9 hours and 43 minutes. Wiimmfi Problem (Follow up video) Yoshiguy8 2016-07-04 | So, over one year ago, I made a video of me explaining an issue with Wiimmfi and finding opponents. youtube.com/watch?v=Mw2Q6cnjXIwIt turns out that I was unable to find opponents at all when there were plenty of rooms available. Sometimes, though, I would get lucky and I'd be able to find one person (usually it was a hacker.) I couldn't even join friends. I tried various methods of troubleshooting. I even deleted my Mario Kart Wii save data. No avail though. It appears that my Wii's serial number is banned from Wiimmfi. I'm not a Wii guru, but I could tell that there's no way this problem will be resolved unless I do extensive changes to my Wii's NAND filesystem. I've already had some help from TheRealBeanJr and EC2 Speed about setting my Wii to the DMZ, but that didn't solve the problem. The only way I'm able to find Worldwide VS and battles on my ISO is because of a code that was sent to me from EC2 KA. I am still wondering what is preventing me from finding Custom Tracks Worldwide races. And if possible, anything I can do to resolve this problem. As I said in the video, if you have this problem as well, or know any possible solutions, I ask that you comment down below. Sorry for the strange video. Mario Kart Wii - Worldwide Races 18 [COMMENTATED] Yoshiguy8 2016-06-28 | In this video, I do some more worldwide races. I start out in (what seemed to be) a full room, but a couple people quit prior to my arrival. So, I start off pretty well earning 3rd place in N64 Bowser's Castle. However, Flo and Nn really showed me who was boss in that room. They did a great job keeping me out of the top 5 and they had nice victories. Hats off to them. After a few races, I decided to quit to make room for others who wanted to join that room. I saw that my friend Alamos was playing a Worldwide, so I joined him for some more action. Unfortunately for me, I lose both of the races after joining Alamos. It was still fun playing as well as commentating. Good games everybody!This video is in 60 FPS!
